Welcome Week Please join fellow students, faculty and staff at Hofstra University as we welcome you to campus. The week kicks off on Friday, August 28, 2015, with your official welcome from Hofstra President Stuart Rabinowitz. Throughout the week, there are academic programs, trips, guest speakers, and social and educational activities planned. This is a great way to meet other students, develop friendships, and get involved! Friday, August 28, 2015 Welcome Week check-in for all new commuting and resident students. 4 Move-in Day for resident students. Information regarding housing assignments and a move-in schedule will be provided by the Residence Life Office. 4 President’s Welcome. President Stuart Rabinowitz, academic deans and faculty welcome the Class of 2019 and new transfer students. (Move-in will be suspended at this time.) 4New Student Barbecue
