For those looking to have a more active stay, Höfði Lodge will happily arrange customised tour packages, including some of the most popular adventures and activities in North Iceland. Guests can arrange through the lodge team everything from heliskiing, ski touring, mountaineering, mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, white water rafting, whale watching, and horseback riding, as well as sustainably friendly hunting and flyfishing. The kitchen can even cater for your day with picnic options and local treats made in-house.


Getting there and around
The flight time to Iceland is between 3-4 hours from most Western European countries and about 5-7 hours from North America to Keflavík international airport

From Akureyri, the trip is a 25 minute drive or a 10 minute helicopter flight door-to-door from Akureyri airport (AEY). Höfði offers both types of transport to guests.
