We have absolutely enjoyed being on the Groen van Prinstererstraat and in this apartment as a recently married young couple. It is wonderful to have a well located, light ground floor apartment with a cute garden.

We love being a 5-minute walk to Westerpark, the most beautiful park of Amsterdam. There are several events happening in the park throughout the year. Park fills up with people having walks, picnics and BBQs. Close to the park, there are restaurants we will definitely miss including Bella Storia, Chez Nina, Pendergast and Westervilla.

Apartment is also a 10-minute walk distance to Haarlemmerdijk which is our favourite street in Amsterdam. This street has a unique atmosphere, where you can find wonderful local shops, several nice café’s, brunch alternatives, and restaurants including De Willem, Café Nieuw Amsterdam, Bagels and Beans, De Belhamel. Let’s also not forget Toki if you like coffee or tea!

Apartment is well connected to the Amsterdam Central Station which you can reach in 10 mins by bike or by Bus 18. Located in between both Bus (18, 21, 22) and Tram (3) lines is extremely handy.

Both the neighbours in our apartment and our other neighbours on the street are very kind and helpful. They helped us a lot during our integration to the neighbourhood. We will remember this neighbourhood as where people smile at each other.

We really enjoyed living here and it is sad to leave. Nevertheless, we need a bigger space as our family is getting bigger. We hope the new owners have at least as wonderful time as we had in this beautiful apartment!
