ONBOARD EXPENSE ACCOUNT

Setting Up Your Account

If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on 5. Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a debit card, or cash. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 5 to 7 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may link other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk.

A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. After you have activated your Seapass card at any arcade machine - please contact Guest Services to set the limit. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App or on your Stateroom TV. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase, and a preliminary statement will be delivered to your stateroom on the last night of your cruise. A final statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. Guests on a cash account will need to settle their account at Guest Services by latest 11:00 pm the night prior to disembarking the ship.

Specialty Dining Reservations

Specialty Dining reservations can be made through the Royal Caribbean App. You may also dial 7000 on your stateroom phone and select the restaurant you wish to dine in or visit the restaurant and make a reservation with the Host outside. The Host can also assist you with making changes to your reservation.

Room Service

Continental breakfast is complimentary. Both the All-Day Menu and American Breakfast will have a delivery fee of $7.95 plus an 18% gratuity for each order. To view the menu, visit the Royal App or browse on the TV in your stateroom. When you’re ready to order, dial 7000 from your stateroom phone.

How much are gratuities?

If not already pre-paid, a $16.00 USD gratuity ($18.50 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. This gratuity is shared among dining & culinary services staff, stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams working behind the scenes. In addition to daily gratuities, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverage, mini bar items, specialty dining, and spa & salon purchases.

Tips for an easy departure

Here’s how to make your departure experience as seamless as possible. You can also check out channel 30 on your stateroom televisionfor a video overview of this process.

We’ve implemented a more gradual flow for our departure process.

• Staterooms must be fully vacated no later than 8:00 am. After you’ve enjoyed breakfast, please head to your designated departure lounge until your departure number is announced or displayed on the ship’s digital screens.

• All guests have been assigned a specific departure group and time. We’ve done our best to schedule your departure at a convenient time for you. You will be notified of your departure time on channel 30 on your stateroom television until 8:00 am, and wayfinding maps and digital screens throughout the ship. This is where our schedule will be continually updated. We ask you to verify the schedule on the television prior to leaving your stateroom. Yo u can also review your departure information via the Royal Caribbean App for a quick and easy experience.

• To avoid the large crowds and the long wait times, take advantage of our Self -Assist program (see details below) our airport transfer services. Royal Caribbean transfers will be available at the terminal to get you to the airport right on time. Book yours today with Guest Services by 12:00 pm the day before departure.

Self-Assist Departure

Avoid lines by keeping all your luggage with you and leaving between 6:45 am to 8:50 am

Note: This option is not available for guests requiring wheelchair assistance, on Royal Caribbean airport transfers or on shore excursions. Departure morning

• Your invoice will be emailed to you at the end of your cruise vacation

• Don’t forget valuables stored in your stateroom safe and leave the safe door open.

• You are free to depart as soon as the Self Assist Departure announcement has been made. Getting off the ship

• Tune to channel 30 on your stateroom television for the assigned departure times

• Once the Self Assist announcement is made or when you receive a notification via the Royal Caribbean App, proceed from your stateroom or de parture lounge to the gangway on Deck 5 with all your luggage.

• Taxis will be readily available outside the terminal.

Regular Departure

Take advantage of our luggage assistance provided on the night before departure. Assigned departure times begin at 7:30 am and end at 8:50 am approximately. Night before

• If you are not choosing Self-Assist Departure, leave your bags with luggage tags attached outside your door by 10:00 pm. Remember to place the luggage tag on one of your carry-on bags so your departure group is clearly identified.

• Keep travel documents, valuables, and essential medications with you.

• Note: Guests requiring wheelchair assistance, on Royal Caribbean airport transfers and shore excursions are required to check their bags the night before. Departure morning

• Your invoice will be emailed to you by the end of your cruise vacation.

• Don’t forget valuables stored in your stateroom safe and leave the safe door open.

• Head to your designated departure lounge and proceed to the gangway once your departure time is called. Getting off the ship

• Once your departure number is called on channel 30 on your stateroom television or when you receive a notification via the Royal Caribbean App, proceed from your stateroom or departure lounge to the gangway on Deck 5 using the elevators nearest to you.

• If you are on a Royal Caribbean airport transfer, please proceed to your scheduled transportation. You may collect your bags at the terminal once you get off the ship.

• If you are on a Royal Caribbean shore excursion, please refer to your tour ticket for meeting point and time details You may collect your bags at the terminal.

• If you are taking independent transportation, claim your baggage at the area identified by the number on your luggage tag at the terminal, then proceed to your transportation. Taxis will be readily available.

• Please note that wait times at the terminal will be longer for guests traveling with birth certificates instead of passports.

• If you require wheelchair assistance, please meet in Spotlight, Deck 5 from 7:30 am to 08:45 am. Waiting time is approximately 30 minutes

How do I close out my tab?

The credit card you provided at check-in will be automatically charged. You can also add additional gratuities to your SeaPass at Guest Services or leave cash.

There will be a hold when you link your credit card to your onboard account. The hold is used to secure funds for anticipated onboard purchases and will be released at the end of the sailing once your final charges are settled.

• Crown & Anchor Guests use: Royal Theater deck 4, from 7:30 am to 8:45 am.

• Collect any items confiscated before your sailing at the terminal on the morning of departure

Customs Allowance

• Guests are subject to the Customs Allowance of their country

• U.S. guests (returning to the U.S) need to declare purchases that exceed $800 USD per person and if they bring in over 200 cigarettes, 100 non-Cuban cigars, and 1 liter of alcohol

• Canadian guests (returning to Canada) need to declare purchases that exceed $800 CAD per person, and if they bring in over 200 cigarettes, 50 cigars, 100g of tobacco, 40oz of liquor or 51oz of wine or 24 12oz bottles or canes of beer/ale.

• U.S. and Canadian guests carrying cash, money orders, traveler’s checks exceeding $10,000 must be declared upon arrival on both the Form 6059B and FinCEN 105. Forms can be picked up at the Guest Services desk.
