SeaPass Card Cash Limit

The credit limit for cash SeaPass accounts is $300. Once this limit is reached, the account will be deactivated. To reactivate, a cash deposit is needed or simply link a credit card.

Animal Sighting Advisory

Occasionally, animals may find their way onboard our ships. For your safety, if you encounter any animals onboard, it is prohibited to interact with or touch them. We ask that you please report any sightings or encounters to any of our Officers or Crew.

In compliance with our Youth Evacuation Plan, children will be given colored wristbands that correspond with their muster stations. In the event of an emergency, Youth Staff will escort all children participating in Adventure Ocean activities to their muster stations for reunification with their parents/guardians.

Children’s Personal Flotation Devices (PFD)

For the safety and wellbeing of children, PFD’s are available free of charge at the pool. PFD’s are for use onboard the Serenade of the Seas and cannot be taken off the ship.

Smoking only Permitted in Designated Areas

Smoking is allowed on Deck 5 Starboard Side, Deck 11 Starboard Side and the Casino, Deck 6 during opening hours in the designated area, for active players only. Electronic cigarettes or e-cigarettes are only permitted within the designated smoking areas.

How much are gratuities?

If not already pre-paid, a $16.00 gratuity ($18.50 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. This gratuity is shared among dining & culinary services sta , stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams working behind the scenes. In addition to daily gratuities, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverage, mini bar items, specialty dining, and spa & salon purchases.

How much are gratuities?

If not already pre-paid, a $16.00 gratuity ($18.50 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. This gratuity is shared among dining & culinary services sta , stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams working behind the scenes. In addition to daily gratuities, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverage, mini bar items, specialty dining, and spa & salon purchases.

Tips for an E asy D eparture

Here’s how to make your departure experience as seamless as possible. You can also check out channel 7 on your stateroom television for a video overview of this process.

We’ve implemented a more gradual flow for our departure process.

• Staterooms must be fully vacated no later than 8:00 am. After you’ve enjoyed breakfast, please head to your designated depart ure lounge until your departure number is announced or displayed on the ship’s digital screens.

• All guests have been assigned a specific departure group and time. We’ve done our best to schedule your departure at a convenient time for you. You will be not ified of your departure time on channel 2 on your stateroom television, and wayfinding maps and digital screens throughout the ship. This is where our schedule will be continually updated. We ask you to verify the schedule on the television prior to leaving your stateroom. You can also review your departure information via the Royal Caribbean App for a quick and easy experience.

• To avoid the large crowds and the long wait times, take advantage of our Self-Assist program (see details below) or our airport transfer services. Royal Caribbean transfers will be available at the terminal to get you to the airport right on time.

Self-Assist Departure

Avoid the wait by keeping all your luggage with you as you depart the ship. Assigned departure time begin at approximately 7:00 am

Note: This option is not available for guests requiring wheelchair assistance, Royal Caribbean airport transfers or shore exc ursions.

Departure Morning

• Your invoice will be emailed to you at the end of your cruise vacation

• Don’t forget valuables stored in your stateroom safe and leave the safe door open.

• You are free to depart as soon as the Self-Assist Departure announcement has been made.

Getting Off the Ship

• Tune to channel 2 on your stateroom television for the assigned departure times

• Once the Self-Assist announcement is made or when you receive a notification via the Royal Caribbean App, proceed from your stateroom or departure lounge to the gangway on Deck 5 with all your luggage.

• Taxis are limited Uber and Lyft are available outside of the terminal

Regular Departure

Take advantage of our luggage assistance provided on the night before departure. Assigned departure time s begin at 7:30 am and end at 9:15 am approximately.

Night Before

• If you are not choosing Self-Assist Departure, leave your bags with luggage tags attached outside your door by 10:00 pm. Remember to place the luggage tag on one of your carry-on bags so your departure group is clearly identified.

• Keep travel documents, valuables, and essential medications with you.

• Note: Guests requiring wheelchair assistance on Royal Caribbean airport transfers and shore excursions are required to check their bags the night before.

Departure Morning

• Your invoice will be emailed to you by the end of your cruise vacation.

Getting Off the Ship

• Once your departure number is called on channel 2 on your stateroom television or when you receive a notification via the Royal Caribbean App, proceed from your stateroom or departure lounge to the gangway on Deck 5 using the elevators nearest to you.

• If you are on a Royal Caribbean shore excursion, please refer to your tour ticket for meeting point and time details You may collect your bags at the terminal.

• If you are taking independent transportation, claim your baggage at the area identified by the number on your luggage tag at the terminal, then proceed to your transportation.

• If you require wheelchair assistance, please inform Guest Services by dialing 0 to schedule a time and receive more instruction.

How do I close out my tab?

The credit card you provided at check-in will be automatically charged. You can also add additional gratuities to your SeaPass at Guest Services or leave cash.

There will be a hold when you link your credit card to your onboard account. The hold is used to secure funds for anticipated onboard purchases and will be released at the end of the sailing once your final charges are settled.

Customs Allowance

• Guests are subject to the Customs Allowance of their country.

• U.S. guests (returning to the U.S.) need to declare purchases that exceed $800 USD per person and if they bring in over 200 cigarettes, 1 00 non-Cuban cigars, and 1 liter of alcohol.

• Canadian guests (returning to Canada) need to declare purchases that exceed $800 CAD per person, and if they bring in over 200 cigarettes, 50 cigars, 100g of tobacco, 40oz of liquor or 51oz of wine or 24, 12oz bottles or cans of beer/ale.

• U.S. and Canadian guests carrying cash, money orders, or traveler’s checks exceeding $10,000 must be declared upon arrival on the Form 6059B. Forms can be picked up at the Guest Services desk.
