For this reason, we recommend that guests not eat conch or any other raw sea food while in The Bahamas. Food contaminated with /lbrlo parahaemolyticus usually looks, smells and tastes normal. lngestion of this bacteria causes diarrhea, vomiting, fever, and abdominal cramps.
