Tips for an easy departure

Here’s how to make your departure experience as seamless as possible. You can also check out channel 20 on your stateroom television for a video overview of this process.

We’ve implemented a more gradual flow for our departure process.

• Please have your Seapass cards in hand when exiting the ship.

• If your departure time is before 8:00 am you may remain in your stateroom until your departure group is displayed on channel 15 of your stateroom television. If your departure time is after 8:00 am, please report to your designated departure lounge until your departure number is announced.

• All guests have been assigned a specific departure group and time. We’ve done our best to schedule your departure at a convenient time for you. You will be able to follow departure times being called on channel 15 on your stateroom television, wayfinding maps and digital screens throughout the ship. This is where our schedule will be continually updated. Please only depart the ship at your designated time.

Self-Assist Departure

Avoid the wait by keeping your entire luggage with you when leaving the ship before 8:00 am. Departure times begin at approximately 7:30 am and end at 7:55 am for self-assist.

Note: This option is not available for guests requiring wheelchair assistance, on Royal Caribbean airport transfers or on shore excursions.

Departure morning

• Your invoice will be emailed to you by the end of your cruise vacation.

• Don’t forget valuables stored in your stateroom safe and leave the safe door open.

Getting off the ship

• Tune to channel 15 on your stateroom television for the departure assigned times.

• Once your departure group is called, proceed from your stateroom to the gangway on Deck 4 with your entire luggage.

• Taxis will be readily available outside the terminal.

Regular Departure

Take advantage of our luggage assistance provided on the night before departure. Assigned departure times begin at 8:25 am and end at 9:10 am approximately.

Night before

• If you are not choosing Self-Assist Departure, leave your bags with luggage tags attached outside your door by 10:00 pm.

• Keep travel documents, valuables, and essential medications with you.

Note: Guests requiring wheelchair assistance, on Royal Caribbean airport transfers and shore excursions are required to check their bags the night before.

Departure morning

• Your invoice will be emailed to you by the end of your cruise vacation.

• Don’t forget valuables stored in your stateroom safe and leave the safe door open.

• Depart at your scheduled time and use the luggage tag provided by placing it on one of your carry-on bags so your departure group is clearly identified

Getting off the ship

• If you are on a Royal Caribbean shore excursion, please refer to your tour ticket for meeting point and time details. You may collect your bags at the terminal.

• If you are taking independent transportation, claim your baggage at the area identified by the number on your luggage tag at the terminal, then proceed to your transportation. Taxis will be readily available.

• If you require wheelchair assistance, please proceed to Boleros on Deck 4, starting at 8:00 am.

How do I close out my tab?

The credit card you provided at check-in will be automatically charged. You can also add additional gratuities to your SeaPass at Guest Services or leave cash.
