For the safety and wellbeing of children, children’s swimming pool personal flotation devices are available free of charge at the pool deck areas. Personal flotation devices (PFDs) are for use onboard the Ovation of the Seas and cannot be taken off the ship.

Adventures in Alaska

Shore excursions have limited availability and sell out quickly. Guest favorites include Whale Watching and Wildlife Quest in Juneau, White Pass Scenic Railway in Skagway, and Enchanting Butchart Gardens in Victoria.

How to Get Ashore

Due to an unfortunate landslide close to the docking pier in the recent past, the port of Skagway has modified the pier operations to ensure the safety of all visitors. As a result, shuttle busses must be used to transport our guests from the ship to the end of the pier where it will be safe to walk as usual. The shuttles are complementary and must be used to transit along the pier, both ways. The shuttle ride is just a few minutes and there is easy access to walk to downtown or catch a port operated shuttle into town for a small fee.

Information is available on channel 7 with your Cruise Director Joff who will provide essential information on the departure process tomorrow in Seattle. On departure morning, please wait comfortably in your stateroom or designated lounge until your assigned departure time. Please verify the schedule on channel 2 and refer to your ‘As You Depart’ flyer in your stateroom for additional information.

Airport Shuttle Bus Transfer

Guest can purchase shuttle bus transfer to Seattle airport for flights departing after noon. Kindly register at the Guest Services Desk, Deck 4, latest by noon, today, September 21 st. Price of ticket $34 per person.
