Tips for an easy departure

Here’s how to make your departure experience as seamless as possible. Please check Channel 7 on the last day of the cruise and Channel 2 on the departure morning in your stateroom television for a detailed departure process video

We’ve implemented a more gradual flow for our departure process.

Here are three key ways this process has changed:

• After you’ve enjoyed breakfast, please head back to your stateroom or your designated departure lounge. If your departure time is before 8:00am, you may remain in your stateroom until your departure is displayed on channel 2 of your stateroom television. If your departure time is after 8:00 am, please proceed to your designated departure lounge until your departure number is announced.

• All guests have been assigned specific group and time. We have done our best to schedule your departure at a convenient time for you. You will be notified of your departure time on channel 2 on your stateroom television until 8:00 am and way finding maps and digital screens throughout the ship. This is where our schedule will be continually updated. We ask you to verify the schedule on the television prior to leaving your stateroom. Please only depart the ship at your designated time.

• We ask guest(unvaccinated only) that are continuing their cruise vacation on another Royal Caribbean ship to contact guest services for information on testing options within 72 hours of departing.

Self-Assist Departure

Avoid the wait by keeping all your luggage with you whether you leave your stateroom before 8:00 am or departure lounge after 8:00 am through your designated departure time. Assigned departure times begin at approximately 8:00 am to 9:15 am.

• Your invoice will be delivered to your stateroom on the last night of your sailing.

• Don’t forget valuables stored in your stateroom safe and leave the safe door open.

Getting off the ship

• Tune in to Channel 2 on your stateroom television for the departure assigned times.

• Once your departure number is called, proceed from your stateroom or departure lounge to the gangway on Deck 4, Centrum.

• Taxis will be readily available outside Miami Cruise Terminal “G” .

Regular Departure

Take advantage of our luggage assistance provided on the night before departure. Assigned departure times begin at 8:00 am and ends at 9:15 am approximately.

Night before

• If you're not using Self-Assist Departure, leave your bags with luggage tags attached outside your door by 10:00 pm.

• Keep travel documents, valuables and essential medications with you.

• Your invoice will be delivered to your stateroom on the last night of your sailing.

• Don’t forget valuables stored in your stateroom safe and leave the safe door open.

• Depart at your scheduled time and use the luggage tag provided by placing it on one of your carry-on bags so your departure group is clearly identified.

Getting off the ship

• Once your departure number is called on channel 2 on your stateroom television, proceed from your stateroom or departure lounge to the gangway on Deck 4, Centrum using the elevators nearest to you.

• If you are taking independent transportation, claim your baggage at the area identified by the number on your luggage tag at the Cruise terminal, then proceed to your transportation.

• Taxis will be readily available outside the Cruise Terminal

• If you require wheelchair assistance, please proceed to Deck 4 Midship, Centrum from 8: 00 am to 9:00 am.

Note: The waiting time is approximately 30 minutes.

How do I close out my tab?

The credit card you provided at check-in will be automatically charged. You can also add additional gratuities to your SeaPass at Guest Services or leave cash.

There will be a hold when you link your credit card to your onboard account. The hold is used to secure funds for anticipate onboard purchases and will be released at the end of the sailing once your final charges are settled.
