Please note that local port regulations prohibit the addition or removal of agricultural items such as food, fruits, plants, flowers, sea shells, bulbs, and rocks to or from the ship.

Tips for an easy departure

Here’s how to make your departure experience as seamless as possible. You can also check out channel 7 on your stateroom television for a video overview of this process.

We’ve implemented a more gradual flow for our departure process.

• Staterooms must be fully vacated no later than 8:00 am. After you’ve enjoyed breakfast, please head to your designated depart ure lounge until your departure number is announced or displayed on the ship’s digital screens.

• All guests have been assigned a specific departure group and time. We’ve done our best to schedule your departure at a convenie nt time for you. You will be notified of your departure time on channel 2 on your stateroom television until 8:00 am, and wayfinding maps and digital screens throughout the ship. This is where our schedule will be continually updated. We ask you to verify the schedule on the television prior to leaving your stateroom. You can also review your departure information via the Royal Caribbean App for a quick and easy experience.

• To avoid the large crowds and the long wait times, take advantage of our Self -Assist program (see details below) or our airport transfer services. Royal Caribbean transfers will be available at the terminal to get you to the airport right on time. Book yours today with Guest Services by noon the day before departure.

Self-Assist Departure

Avoid the wait by keeping all your luggage with you as you depart the ship. Assigned departure times begin approximately at 7:30 am. Note: This option is not available for guests requiring wheelchair assistance .

Departure morning

• Your invoice will be emailed to you at the end of your cruise vacation

• Don’t forget valuables stored in your stateroom safe and leave the safe door open. Getting off the ship

• Tune to channel 2 on your stateroom television fo r the assigned departure times.

• Once the Self-Assist group is called, proceed from your stateroom or from departure lounges to the gangway on Deck 4 with your entire luggage.

• Taxis are usually readily available outside the terminal.

Regular Departure

Take advantage of our luggage assistance provided on the night before departure. Assigned departure times start at approximately 8:20 am and end at 10:00 am.

Night before

• Leave your bags with luggage tags attached outside your stateroom door by 10:00 pm on the last day of the cruise

• Keep travel documents, valuables, and essential medications with you.

• Note: Guests requiring wheelchair assistance on Royal Caribbean airport transfers and shore excursions are required to check their bags the night before.

Departure morning

• Your invoice will be emailed to you by the end of your cruise vacation.

• Don’t forget valuables stored in your stateroom safe and leave the safe door open.

• Head to your designated departure lounge and proceed to the gangway once your departure time is called. Getting off the ship

• Once your departure number is called in the Royal Caribbean App or on channel 2 on your stateroom television or when you receive a notification via the Royal Caribbean App, proceed from your stateroo m or your departure lounge to the gangway on Deck 4 using the elevators nearest to you.

• If you are on a Royal Caribbean shore excursion, please refer to your tour ticket for meeting point and time details. You may collect your bags at the terminal.

• If you are taking independent transportation, claim your baggage at the area identified by the number on your luggage tag at the terminal, then proceed to your transportation. Taxis will be readily available.

• If you require wheelchair assistance, please proceed to Boleros on Deck 4, between 7:30 am-9: 30 am.

• Please note that wait times at the terminal will be longer for guests traveling with birth certificates instead of passports

How do I close out my tab?

The credit card you provided at ch eck-in will be automatically charged. You can also add additional gratuities to your SeaPass at Guest Services or leave cash.

There will be a hold when you link your credit card to your onboard account. The hold is used to secure funds for anticipated onboard purchases and will be released at the end of the sailing once your final charges are settled.

Customs Allowance

• Guests are subject to the Customs Allowance of their country.

• U.S. guests (returning to the U.S.) need to declare purchases that exceed $800 USD per person and if they bring in over 200 cigarettes, 100 non -Cuban cigars, and 1 liter of alcohol, must be 21 or older.

• Canadian guests (returning to Canada): Purchases up to 800 CAD per person; 1 carton of cigarettes, 50 cigars, 200g of tobacco, 40 oz of liquor or 51 oz of wine or 24 -12 oz, bottles or cans of beer/ale.

Alcohol Purchases

• Please keep in mind that you should not place bottles of beverages in the luggage which you are leaving outside of your stateroom. All bottles should be taken as part of your carry -on luggage.

Important Things To Know

• Gold, Platinum, Emerald, Diamon d, and Diamond Plus Guests: Use Play Maker on Deck 4 from 07:30 am – 10:00 am.

• Consecutive Cruisers, please refer to the letter in your stateroom for your meeting place and time.

Onboard Expense Account

Setting Up Your Account

If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on Deck 5. Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase, and a preliminary statement will be delivered to your stateroom on the last morning of your cruise. A final statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. Guests on a cash account will need to settle their account at Guest Services prior to disembarking the ship.

Specialty Dining Reservations

Specialty Dining reservations can be made through the Royal Caribbean App. You may also dial [7000] on your stateroom phone and select the restaurant you wish to dine in or visit the restaurant and make a reservation with the Maitre d' outside. The Maitre d' can also assist you with making changes to your seating.

Room Service

Continental breakfast is complimentary. Both the All-Day Menu and American Breakfast will have a delivery fee of $7.95 plus an 18% gratuity for each order. To view the menu, visit the Royal App or browse on the TV in your stateroom. When you’re ready to order, dial [7000] from your stateroom phone.

Departure Process

The evening before departure, you will receive the "Tips for an easy departure" flyer in your stateroom. The flyer details all the information you need to know for departure.
