Mountains, waterfalls, wildlife a plenty - you won't be disappointed with this spectacle of nature at it's best. At this time of year there is a lot of ice in the fjord from the nearby 'Sawyer Glacier'. The Captain and the Bridge team will do their best to sail in for a closer view of the glacier; however, sometimes it's not possible in an effort to keep the ship safe. Breathtaking Haines is a small Alaskan town steeped in history. With a large population of Bald Eagles, you won't step too far without spotting one.
