It’s been a pleasure to welcome so many of you back for the summer season, I do hope you and your families are well.

Thank you sincerely for your patience and understanding during the wet spring we had, particularly with the challenging ground conditions — it was greatly appreciated. As we move into brighter days, we’re looking ahead with optimism and enthusiasm for the season ahead.

This issue includes highlights from recent months, details of upcoming owner events, and other updates we’re excited to share with you. I also look forward to welcoming you to our new Devon Bay monthly team listening sessions, where you’ll have the opportunity to meet the team, share your feedback, and take part in discussions around future improvements. Further details will be shared soon.

Holidays at Hoburne are all about making memories, and we want to offer you the chance to share your most treasured ones.

Perhaps you met that special someone in your life at one of our parks. Maybe you come back again and again, because your Hoburne holiday home is your little slice of heaven. It could be just one special summer’s evening, a hand held on the beach or a friend you’ve never forgotten but would love to reconnect with.

Park news

We are so pleased to see the sun shining and the outdoor pool is open looking ready to be enjoyed!

Our team are working hard to keep the grounds looking their best. At this time of year the grass grows very quickly so we appreciate your patience while we try to stay on top of it!

A quick reminder the café is open for breakfast from 8am everyday-perfect for starting your day.

We’re also introducing new car parking permits in the form of car hangers and these permits are now mandatory for all vehicles using the parking facilities. Car hangers are available to collect at reception and will be issued in exchange for your vehicle registration details.

We are working on getting the entertainment schedule onto the app so you’ll soon be able to easily see all the activities. Finally, our dog wash area is nearly complete and should hopefully be completed and ready for use in the next few weeks.

Team news

Huge congratulations to Laura from Housekeeping who recently got married at Gretna Green. We wish you and your new husband a lifetime of happiness, love and memories together.

Our Leisure team won team of the year for Hoburne in 2025 at the conference, keep up the amazing work! Leisure and hot tub team have some new starters, welcome to Tilly, Silver and Winston.

Owner events

So far this year...

We had some great turnouts for some of owners’ events in April, especially the three-tier afternoon tea and the sales Pizza & Prosecco event, where Matt from sales entertained the crowds with his singing!

Unfortunately, our owners and team listening sessions didn’t have the biggest turn out. We would love to see more owners attend so we get more feedback to help us improve and will be offering an online owner/team get together for those unable to attend in person.

Throughout July and August you can enjoy two free ice creams per week! (restrictions apply)

On 7th July we will launch our new summer menu and on Friday 10th July owners get 50% off all menu items. Pre-booking is required.

Throughout July, our Spin the Wheel promotion is available when you spend over £65, giving you the chance to win rewards, including up to four main meals off your bill.

In September, October and November, owners get a free bottle of wine when you purchase two main meals.
