It all started in 1976 with two friends who had two great passions in common: motorbikes and racing. Thanks to the quality and high performance of its motorbikes, this small Pesaro company has become a large reality in just a few years. The pioneers of TM, Claudio Flenghi and Francesco Battistelli (aka “Mr. Motore” and “Mr. Chassis”) are two childhood friends of the same age who have lived much of their lives in direct contact with the motoring world. In 1977 they entrusted one of their motorbikes to Gastone Serafini, a young rider from Pesaro, who would significantly help Battistelli and Flenghi in its development. They thus obtain high-level sporting results with the consequent growth of interest and an ever-increasing demand for their product. The two friends then decide to abandon their respective activities and create, together with Tarcisio Serafini, their motorcycle company which is registered under the name “Moto TM Pesaro”. At the 1977 Milan motorcycle show, TM had an unexpected success which pushed it to move its headquarters from the small workshop in Flenghi to a new and better equipped factory located in the industrial area of Pesaro. And it is precisely in that period that the Serafini family will become part of the ownership, in doing so they will produce 200 cross bikes in 1978. In 1979 TM expanded its racing team by adding Tommaso Lolli alongside Gastone Serafini. The bike continued to grow and in this same year the first TM enduros were born. In 1982 Batistelli decided to leave TM and his place was taken over by Gastone Serafini who, having reached the end of his career as a professional driver, decided to support Flenghi full time in running the company. In the following years there were many riders who followed one another driving TM motorbikes obtaining excellent results on a national and international level, excellent results also came from the Kart sector where TM with its engines became the leader in a short time. The philosophy that has always distinguished TM is certainly the choice of materials, which must always be of excellent quality, and the workmanship, defined by some as
even “maniacal”, not to mention the great performance of the engines that equip the standard motorbikes, in many cases clearly above the official engines of the most renowned competition. This justifies the prices of these technical jewels which are aimed at a market niche made up of very demanding customers. In fact, they can purchase a standard product with which to compete in high-level competitions. Something important happened on June 28, 2021, marking a fundamental change in our company. All our motorbikes have been completely revolutionized from a design point of view: from the engine to the smallest components, everything has been profoundly renewed while maintaining the roots in our Italian artisan tradition. At the Rossini Theater they were presented in the presence of employees, dealers, journalists and pilots.

The technical level of the company has grown over the years by perfecting and expanding the range of its 2-stroke vehicles with the introduction of new displacements and the subsequent integration of the 4-stroke models; all this has allowed us, with participation in the Italian, European and world championships in all cross, enduro and supermotard motorcycle specialities, to deepen and improve the technical and technological experience of our products which continue to evolve year after year reaching the current production that fully satisfies the needs of customers who are loyal to our brand.

RACING DEPARTMENT
Racing is an important part of the company in TM Moto DNA. The Motocross and Supermoto teams have always been the strong points of the Pesaro company. For several years Tm Moto has relied on two leading teams on the world scene: Boano Factory Team in Enduro, L30 Racing team in Supermoto and Steels Dr Jack in Motocross. There are over 50 World and Italian driver and constructor titles that we have on our board.
