ou may have seen Michelle grace the cover of Playboy Venezuela. As a matter of fact, you may have seen Michelle Grace the cover of many popular magazines in the USA and Venezuela, she has more covers under her belt than we can count on both hands. This Miami Beach, Florida model has made quite the name for herself in the modelling world. Growing up in the big city of Maracay, Venezuela, Michelle never seen herself pursuing a modelling dream. As she got older, she slowly made her way into the scene. Having a crazy schedule was holding her back. When she wasn’t studying, she would make the effort to do some gigs, but time just did not allow it. That is, until one warm spring night in 2009, when a life changing opportunity unfolded and the kick start of Michelle and the modelling industry took off. She has flourished in the spotlight, concentrating mostly on fitness mixed with a little glamour. Even landing the cover of Muscular Development Latino. HNS caught up with Michelle for a quick Q&A‌. WWW.MODELMICHELLE.COM
CONTINUED Where is your favourite place in the world to be? “Los Roques is paradise on earth. Google it!” Where do you get the majority of your support for your career? “My family is extremely supportive. When I did the cover of Playboy, the proudest person in the world was my grandma!” Up to this point, what has been your favorite moment in your career? “Every time someone contacts me for an interview is a favourite moment. I still have no idea why anyone is interested in what's going on in my life, but I'm happier than ever that it's really like that!” Where do you see yourself in the future? “I'm starting to compete in fitness now, so I see myself struggling where to put all those trophies haha!” What person have you worked with in the industry that is most memorable to you? “I did my first shoot with Angel Keynner in Venezuela. He was a great photographer in the small island of Isla de Margarita. We connected directly, we have loads of fun and when we work we always create magic. He's more artistic, I'm glamour and the mix is the killing concept.”
Is there anyone in the industry who inspires you? “Right now a girl called Jen Jewell. I still haven't shot there, there's unlimited amount of great
locations and I have saved some clothes and other stuff for just that occasion, whenever it comes...” Are there any current or future projects you would like to share? “Well, keep your eyes open for me on the fitness scene... My goal is Masters in Miami.”

SHYONA ROYSTON “Beautiful, Strong Independent.”
hyona Royston born and raised in Lansing, Michigan exemplifies a beautiful, strong, independent woman. With gorgeous green eyes and luscious pink lips, she lights up any room upon entering. With a classy and confident demeanor and a humble and caring heart most people find themselves falling in love with her personality. What’s unique about Shyona is her determination as well as her work ethic. She is selective on the work she does and if it doesn’t coincide with her brand or herself as a person she won’t take it. “It’s about
quality work not quantity, “I have actually had a lot of great offers that I have had to turn down because it didn’t reflect me as a person. If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything” says Shyona. Growing up in a single parent home, Shyona learned the value of independence and a strong work ethic at a young age. She was determined to make a way for her mother, whom she learned from for many years. Throughout her younger days Shyona initially had dreams of becoming a WNBA
basketball player, after all she was a tomboy. But after a traumatic asthma attack in high school she had to make a hard decision and let go of her basketball dream. She tried cheerleading, hockey, as well as dance but nothing got her attention like Modeling. Modeling became her new found passion and she began to take the steps needed to persevere. After graduation, Shyona moved to Atlanta to attend college and take her career to the next level. During her studies she was heavily involved with
…mentoring and tutoring the youth, as well as volunteering to feed the homeless. Being new to Atlanta it was vital to learn her atmosphere before diving in, especially the industry. After attending many casting calls she led her first cameo in Guerilla Zoe ft. Rick Ross ‘What it is’ video. Shyona didn’t have intentions of being recognized as a video vixen or a glamour model, but as a diverse commercial and print model. Shyona took a different approach. After becoming a young mother, she knew she had to set a great example for her daughter, as well as other young girls who looked up to her. Being labeled as a diverse model Shyona was able to go into any market and dominate with her versatility. She began submitting
herself to castings for TV, film, commercial and print work. Landing her first acting role in Boomtown Productions “The Spot” as character Tiona, she was determined to be on set. Shyona has been on set of “The Game”, “Let’s stay together”, “Good Deeds” as well as “Vampire Diaries”. In addition she has been featured in Source magazine as well as various websites. Shyona has recently launched her 2k13 Calendar and become the new face of “Goldilox Hair House” where she will represent a luxurious hair extension company. Shyona says “I feel very blessed to have come this far against all odds,
even though I am nowhere near where I want to be, it feels great. I believe in staying two steps ahead because it’s better than falling one step behind.” This is only the beginning of Shyona’s legacy, at the young age of 22 she will continue to persevere and she will succeed. Capitalizing on becoming a diverse model, actress, philanthropist, and business women she has a great future ahead of her. “To be recognized as more than just a MODEL but a ROLE MODEL: to inspire, uplift, and educate our youth and girls like me in a positive aspect,” Says Shyona. “WHEN you can’t find a WAY…..you make a WAY. You must first..
S H Y O N A
…have FAITH, CONFIDENCE, DETERMINATION, and AMBITION. But all in all you must be the best version of YOU.” Shyona has accomplished so much since her First Music Video Cameo in 2009 Guerilla Zoe ft. Rick Ross ‘What it is’ video, and has been labelled a diverse model. As an actress she has been on several sets including The Game, Let's Stay Together, Good Deeds, Vampire Diaries and more.

The independent and unsigned talent is often represented wrong, perceived as a waste of time to many the majority don't want to spend even 30 seconds of their time to check out an underground artist they never heard about. Reason being they previously have gave something a chance and was disappointed. So can we blame them for sticking to the mainstream top 40 hiphop and R&B that is being broadcasted on all the major Radio, and T.V music channels? Models do have the advantage because it only takes one second to check out a model, you don’t have to press play and listen to a song or video, but believe it or not many amazing models are over looked by the eyes that can really make a difference in their career. HNS Magazine hopes to make a difference for amazing unsigned talent. There’s so much of it out there, videos and songs that are hits and quality as good as what we see on B.E.T the world would love to see, but don`t have time to look for it. So with strict filtering HNS brings the best talent forward. Our readers trust HNS Magazine to deliver nothing but the best independent models and artists in the industry. The HNS Magazine interview or seal of approval cannot be purchased. Our ad pages can be purchased and are very affordable but it won’t have the authentic HNS Stamp on it. Record labels and modelling agencies are beginning to use HNS Magazine and HNS Radio as a tool to find new hot talent. Our digital magazine is always free which has allowed HNS to grow very fast in the last year. Last month we launched HNS Radio www.hnsradio.com as a FREE live broadcast, which sticks to the same principles as our magazine The hottest unsigned Hiphop and R&B music. Its been our main tool for discovering Artists to feature in the Magazine. Every song we play is underground and hot. Were forced to let many down in order to maintain this
level of standards, in many occasions the models are amazing, but lack good quality photography. There are also very talented artists, but lack good sound quality. But we listen to every song submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org and we check out every model that submits online interviews on hnsmag.com, we treat everyone equal. If you don’t make the cut the first time we encourage all to try again with new material at a different time. If your amazing and deserve to be a star, HNS will do all we can to help you get there. And we’re 100% nonprofit. We don`t require any payments or credit cards unless you want to purchase print copies of our magazine, ad pages or model calendars. Our digital magazine is free and very popular, with page turning and interactive links. HNS Magazine began in 2010 as a printed only publication that was distributed yearly in North America, the company went through major changes during the recession and re-launched under new directors with majority of shareholders. This issue marks the 1 year anniversary of the relaunch of the new HNS Magazine. We plan to keep raising the bar and moving forward. We thank everyone that’s been supporting the HNS movement. We won’t let you down.
GILBERT STA INES THE INTERVIEW Favorite place in the world to be? “Where ever my Pelican suitcase is.” What has been your most memorable moment in your career so far? “When I met the beautiful aspiring model named Gwedolynne Gee at her Las Vegas apt Oct 2010. I do not know where but Hawaii and San Diego is very warm for me:-)” Who or what influenced you to become a photographer? “Not clear how but I can recall my dad buying an old Canon T50 from my uncle and handing it to me to shoot around my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary. The camera stuck with me since then. I still have it in its original bag.” When did you become interested in photography? “I dreamed of becoming a great wedding photographer but I always end up with the bridesmaids and the brides. The job chose me basically.

I'll show later.” What do you feel you have to offer, that sets you aside from other photographers? “I really do not like being compared. I consider myself an artist and artists do not compete with each other. You have people who know you by what you do. “IF I PAID FOR THE LEASE OF THIS INSTRUMENTAL WHY DID SOUNDCLOUD TAKE MY SONG DOWN?”
efore You lease or buy another beat off a Beat-maker you have previously did business with, I would like you to read this important info I have to share with you. It will protect you, your music, and the money you spend on leasing beats. Buying beats online, sending your money internationally and waiting patiently for your beat to come in the email. During that wait period you feel like there's a chance that the Beat won’t come. Sometimes it takes longer than it should to arrive. When it does arrive you feel relief as if the beat maker came through for you. A certain wave of respect is built instantly because he delivered. You feel like the beat maker has held up his end of the bargain. But to be honest there is still the agreement we agreed to, usually without reading it. We don’t even have to sign it. Making our payment is
actually the form of contract approval. It’s easy to hold up our end of the lease agreement. Most underground artists don’t sell their music anyway, its usually free downloads. A beat maker’s goal is to lease a beat. From basic lease $20, to premium lease around $60 and lately I been seeing tracked out leases for over $100. Giving you more rights, but still no ownership. So after they make all that lease money and the beat is out there all over music sites and videos you made with the beat. The beat Maker then sells the beat’s exclusive rights away to a buyer, a lot of times a label. The label then searches the internet for lease holders and contacts radio’s and Soundcloud etc. to have the music taken down that you created on, what’s now their beat. And they show the agreement proving they own the beat. Music sites like Soundcloud
@permarecords CONTINUED …anything you received in relation to the beat lease. Just incase your music is taken down and you want to appeal it. You’re going to need everything you can use to protect yourself. I use the print screen button and paste the agreement or receipt in Microsoft Word and save it as a Jpeg.
BEATS 101: PART 2
3. Try to avoid premium leases because when the beat gets sold exclusively your still at risk of having your music taken down. Either go for the standard Lease or exclusive. If you’re going to go exclusive try to get the beat as soon as it’s released, before anyone has leased it. Face it, who really wants a beat that's already circulating radio stations and getting heavy play etc. Like I said in my previous article a talented low key undiscovered beat-maker will always be the best way to go. They are harder to find its good to sometimes listen to the tags in the free beats that others are using then Google search them. -PERMASHINE
WRITTEN BY PERMASHINE
CONTINUED …are not to blame, they are forced to by law to remove any illegal music. How can we avoid being victims of this? You can't go after anyone legally because the agreement usually backs up the beat-maker because that's who made the agreement. You would be surprised how often this happens. See for yourself, visit a site that you have leased online beats from and I'm sure you will see "SOLD" signs on some of the instrumental’s you once leased. Meaning there's someone just waiting to come across the song you created, with what's now legally their beat, to report it and have it taken down. As an artist I feel that’s not right. I copied this part of a lease from a popular beat site. I blocked out the beat makers name for privacy reasons. 6. This document serves as the standing agreement between you and Beat-Maker In the event that someone buys exclusive rights to the beat you have leased, your rights shall stand and the beat is still yours to use. 7. Leasing rights can be re-sold to more than one
BEATS 101 WRITTEN BY PERMASHINE
client. Upon purchasing leasing rights, the seller still owns the beat(s) and the seller is able to resell the beat(s) to any other party until exclusive rights have been purchased. “It’s confusing because once you sell exclusive rights away, how can you still grant previous rights to lessor? So, since we can't do anything about it as in terms of rights, these 3 tips will keep you under the radar and protect you and your music. 1. If you buy a beat with a hook or chorus already in it make sure you name the song you create completely different. Example: If the hook is already on the beat you leased, "I rep My City I rep My City I rep My city" do not name your song "Rep My City" Your song will be taken down shortly after that beat is sold exclusively. Name it something unique like "Where I'm From" that will keep you under the radar allowing you to keep your music online. 2. Always keep all your proof of purchase credit card receipts etc…

What has been your most memorable moment in your career so far? “Wow that’s actually a hard question to answer! So far I would have to say it’s a tie between the party I shot for DJ Drama and a party I shot with Heroes and Villains. They were both crazy nights and I got to meet a lot of cool people I never would have gotten to meet.” What is your ultimate career goal? Where
do you see yourself in the future? “My ultimate goal is for all of my endeavours to be profitable together. Between my photography work and my clothing line, Unique and Uncontemporary. Being able to do what I love and not have to worry about money.” Do you think that a person must possess talent to capture emotion and expression in the picture? “Honestly yes, but I would say it takes more skill than talent. When it comes to working with models
where you are trying to capture that emotion you must be able to communicate with that model and get them to a point of conformability that allows you to get the best shot. You can have all the talent in the world, but if you don’t have any people skills you’re stuck.” Does location matter to you when shooting? “No, but I do prefer on location shoots over in studio.” In your opinion, what makes photography an art? “The ability to capture
moments in life and being able to warp the perception of what is being seen in that moment. You’re painting with light.” How would you describe your overall style of photography? “I’ve been told my style is very energetic. My photo sessions are a lot of fun and it comes off through my work. One thing I try to do with my work is a person being able to feel the energy of that shoot by looking at the pictures that came from it.” ………
Do you think that society would be different if photography was never invented? “It would be a lot less interesting. But I’m sure something would take its place.” If you weren’t a photographer, what would you want to be? why? “A full time Graphic Artist or Industrial Engineer. Two things I’m already currently doing with being a photographer.”

For several months we taunted and teased our readers with the idea of their favourite magazine featuring Adella Pasos, with the coming soon ads circulating throughout the network, the idea was beginning to form into reality. And yes as you can see we not only followed through but we went that extra step, and secured Adella Pasos as HNS Magazine Spring 2013 front cover girl…..
t all began for Adella in 2006, when she broke through into the modelling world, and that is just the beginning. Not only is her beauty captivating, her intelligence and drive to succeed is a pretty powerful sight. Adella’s love for modeling comes from a business side more than anything it seems. She sees the big picture when it comes to the modelling industry and clearly knows how to maximize her name, which is really her product, speaking in business terms, that is. Adella has organized many modelling promotional events, as well as celebrity parties and many more events. This talented girl not only possesses good looks, but intelligence as well, drive and the authority to effectively communicate amongst the experts in the business. Despite all the hectic activity with her career, she is finding the time to make runway show appearances and is working with experts in the film and music business. She hopes to engage in a film career, she is currently pursuing commercial opportunities as well. Adella recently began hosting a show on youtube called “All good things”, it’s a show where entertainment categories, such as the hottest new video game or the hottest…
CONTINUED …new movies are reviewed by featured models. Adella is the sweetest girl we have met in a long time. Not only is she super likable and down to earth, she also is a big part of her community and uses her modeling as a way to give back. She has been involved in fundraisers, corporate giving events, charity organizations, churches, schools, etc. It doesn’t matter how crazy her schedule gets, Adella finds the time to give back. It’s a wonder where she finds the time and energy for all of this. But it doesn’t end there! Adella also founded a few businesses of her own and has pretty big projects coming up in the near future. One of her businesses she founded in 2009, called Clubwear Central which is a line directed more to the modelling industry. Clubwear Central sells a broad range of clothing from high fashion couture, swimwear
Clubwear dresses and accessories. She also developed the brand wear called “Dare”, a tee shirt line that focuses it’s designs on art, with a wide range on design, that appeals to any age or lifestyle. The name “Dare” was chosen to symbolize inspiration. Adella also has a few other projects coming up, in the fall she will be revealing her new bracelet line called Divino, with exquisite designs. And if you thought that was it, you were wrong. Adella is also going to be hosting a brand new fitness show, expected to come out in fall 2013 called Fine&Fit…
CONTINUED …When we asked Adella what the most memorable moment of her career so far, she told us “I've had many memorable moments, however the one moment that meant the most to me was when I was given the opportunity to host a celebrity charity event. This event offered a wealth of networking opportunities, as well as opened my eyes to philanthropy and how I can use my platform to help others.” It doesn’t surprise us that this genuine sweetheart’s most memorable moments were the times that she was helping others. We here at HNS know why Adella stands out to her fans, but we decided to ask her how she felt she differed from the others in the industry and what made her stand out. She
Says, “I have the ability to carefully listen to anyone’s needs and being able to understand what steps have to be in place to achieve a winning position or meet our goals. I'm very flexible, responsible, and present myself in a humbly manner. I think these qualities that separate me from other models.” There is just one more thing we haven’t mentioned, and that is Adella is working on a CD, and she is expecting to release her first single in this year. We are sure this isn’t the last you will hear about our cover girl Adella Pasos. With the drive and the ambition to succeed, this Chicago beauty will be present for many years to come.

KASH BELL Kash Bell’s Tonehe moment and only producer
Bash Peter let him hear the amazing instrumental for “Always” he knew exactly what he was gonna write the song about. He said " I wanted to write something that would inspire people, mainly people from his hometown." As I got a little older the name didn’t seem to fit me or my style of music anymore and it was also being used by a lot of other artists. I kept the Kash part because a lot of people knew me by just Kash, so I didn’t want to take that part out. I started looking at random names on the internet and bell stuck out to me, I didn’t See any artist with the name so that’s how I got Kash Bell.” If you weren’t in music industry, what would be your second career choice? “Probably an astronomer for the simple fact that I have a weird interest in outer space.” Up to this point what would you say is your most memorable moment in your career? “performing in St.Pete

hen Sir B teamed up with Grammy Nominated producer M-16 and singer Young Prynce (not to be confused with HNS cover artist Young Prince) They created a top 10 HNS Radio Banger called #1 Fan. Sir B split flames on the hook which is complemented with light background vocals, followed by that authentic Sir B. fire in the verses, that seem to take off from the hook like a F16 peeling off a runway, "effortless". Making Sir B. an artist you’re gonna want to keep your eye on. We were pleased his song made the top 10 so we could meet up for the interview.
How did you come up with your Artist name? “My artist name was given to me by my homie Ikey Boy which was the head engineer at the studio I worked at. Don't know how he came up with that but it just stuck with me and everybody that ever came through the yo.”

says: Honestly I feel that auto tune is an amazing tool when used correctly. I think if you’re just using it to sound better because you're not that talented of a singer, then you’re just going to fall in a long line of other artist sounding the same way. Now on the other hand if you're being creative and innovative in your attempt to use "Auto Tune" then that’s aces. Never anything wrong with taking an idea and revamping it or completely switching it up.

cant really agree that Auto Tune survived. TPain is a distant memory, 808's N Heartbreaks was corny, and the DOA was a precursor to people getting back to making real music. It was nice while it lasted, but lets let the past be the past. If you can sing sing, if you can't recognize that and move on. Real talent should be the focus of Good Music

NAIMAH HNS RADIO’S #1 SONG “CIRCLES” NAIMAH FT. K CLARK
we’re motivated to move others with our music. We’re all Assetartists out to do one thing, and that’s to make a hit record. At HNS
Radio one afternoon listening to submission after submission, in what seemed as an endless tiring ordeal, pressed play and Naimah ft. K. Clark in Circles started running. The song immediately energized me like a triple espresso we knew it was a hit right away. After 3 plays on HNS Radio the request started flooding our inbox. The Song hit #1 on our countdown in less than a week and held the spot for 3 ½ weeks. HNS made it our mission to track down the hit maker Naimah for the interview.”
Let's talk about the song "#Circles". An HNS Radio #1 HIT, it’s a Super HOT song. Who was involved in the making of this amazing track? “Dr. Snipe
G. Young came up with the concept of Circles, as a solo artist, he was…
… circles, as a solo artist, he was actually one of the first people to reach out to me. Every time he sent me a track I wanted to be challenged, I wanted to step out my comfort zone. So, when he sent the track for Circles, K. Clark had already laid a rough draft of the hook, which was on point and Snipe simply said, “Let’s see what you do with this, Ha.” So I put my emotions and heart on paper everything that I was going through, and everything that was happening around me and the end result was a banger! Thank God.”
Describe the feeling after you first heard the finished version of Circles.
“Shit, I couldn’t believe it was me, lol. I played it about 20 times before I accepted that I could do anything if I believe in myself. It was a banger, I only let a few people hear it and they couldn’t believe it was me. This is the kind of music you hear in the industry from major artist, not too many unsigned artist can leave their safe zone.”
How did you come up with your Artist name? It’s actually my birth name “Naimah”, which means “A blessing in Paradise.” My first rap name was Da Joka inspired by Jack Nicholson(The Joker).
Where is your Hometown? “I
was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. Rollllllllllllllllllllllllll Ttttttiiiiiddeee baby!!!!!!”
If you weren’t in music industry, what would be your second career choice? I would be a veterinarian, I love animals.
Up to this point what was the most memorable moment in your career? “Making my second music
video “HD Life”. This was the anthem for Naimah and for my hood. It made me feel empowered… like I can do anything I set my mind to and I can…”
Are there any current or future projects you would like to share? “Yes, I’m
currently working on the release of my second single off my LP album “Universal Remote” entitled “Usually Don’t. Oh yes, in the studio recording a new project set to release around fourth quarter so keep our eyes open Naimah is here.”
“HOTTEST 4 BARS” in your opinion what is your hottest 4 bars you ever wrote.? “Spit hot shit all the
time cause I’m fye/ and that’ll be a lie if I ain’t hot/ I drop a Ep and I’m still flowing Lp, bill boards still going/ I want that #1 and beyond that cause it’s a fact that I gotta em selling off the shelves downloads and my ringtones get at me if you thank I can’t shake sumn.” _Break Sum (song “Universal Remote”).”
Is there anything else you would like to discuss? “Log
on to www.naimahofficial.com and download all my music and watch all my videos, then sign my guestbook. Turn up.”
fter going on a beat hunt, we came across this track. We sat in the studio for a day or so. Once we lived with it for a while we unleashed the flows and dropped the hook". Yoggi From Karpay DM tells HNS. That same hook was the building structure for the top 10 song "Go Low" But let’s rewind a little bit. What's interesting about Karpay DM is that the group is a male /female duo that dropped everything And Left California together in pursuit of their music career in Atlanta. After discovering that you can imagine the questions that began
to surface. Of course we asked if there’s a romantic involvement between the two. Yoggi replied "We're like family. We argue a lot but we laugh twice as hard lol. I've learned in this journey that if you ever attempt to accomplish something great with another and you don't argue?? It's probably not that great to begin with then." Karpay DM performed on the B.E.T Blaze the Stage Concert the show can be seen here http://www.youtube.c om/watch?v=I5WcFE c_YWo. A FEW WORDS FROM KARPEY: “This mixtape is going to be the best work we've put out to date.
We promise you your head will bob way more than you expect a Boy/Girl group to make it do so. The production is sick and the rhymes and flow never sound the same. As the beats change so does the flow and concepts, making @karpay_diem the best choice for new music out and for new music to come. Follow Karpay DM.

Lucchi talks to HNS about why he feels he stands out from other artists in this industry, “I have feeling, raw emotion. Everything I say comes from a place inside of me. People gravitate towards an artist who speaks from real situations, negative or positive. You can’t forget a person who can describe something to you and make you feel exactly how he or she feels.” Lucchi works hard at the game and has a few mixtapes under his belt.
