RULES CORNER QUESTION When playing in a tournament and a person hits the ball out of bounds. Under the new rules of golf, the player must take the stroke and distance penalty, unless the rules sheet for the tournament says that players are allowed to drop where the ball last crossed the out of bounds stake with a two shot penalty added to the person score.
Welcome to Fall! Hopefully the cooler weather is here. October is the perfect time to get out and play some golf on a fabulous golf course with some of the best bent grass greens in the area. Saturdays 10:30 am – 11:30 am at BridgeMill Thursdays 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm at BridgeMill Saturdays 11:30 am – 12:30 pm at Towne Lake Hills
SENIOR CLASSES AT TOWNE LAKE HILLS
This class is designed for Seniors 55+ to stay active while developing your golf skills. We will show you how to employ a relaxed and enjoyable swing that allows you to hit the ball further without undue stress to your body. Saturdays 8:30 am – 9:30 am

TIPS FROM THE PROS Most amateur golfers hit less than half of the greens in regulation, so getting up and down consistently is invaluable. Practice games are an excellent way to develop those scrambling skills. This is an excellent benchmarking skills test that’s well worth challenging yourself with at least once a month.
Register for our programs on the GGP website at GeorgiaGolfPerformance.com. If you have any questions or need assistance with registration, email us at info@georgiagolfperformance.com or call (770) 345-5557.

HAVE YOU TRIED THE PAR-18 CHALLENGE?
Set down nine balls at different spots around the practice green and try to get each one up and down in two shots. The closer you get to par-18 on this challenge, the more shots you’ll see off your scorecard.
Melanie Talbott, Instructor
PRACTICE MAKES PERMANENT
Make sure you’re working on the right things in practice. Improving how you practice can make your time on-course more fun.
