Dear BridgeMill Athletic Club Members,

24 HOUR FITNESS CENTER ACCESS POLICIES

Here we are a few months into the new year and we hope you are finding new and fun ways to meet your health and fitness goals with our BFit classes and open gym hours. We have appreciated all of the member feedback and participation in our new programs and our 24hour member gym accessibility.

IN CASE OF EMERGENCY CALL 911

Unfortunately, we have identified an increasing issue happening during some of these open hours. We have recorded numerous instances of members with 24-hour access fobs opening the doors to individuals without access fobs. This is a violation of our 24-hour access policy that our members agreed to upon acceptance of the access fob. Allowing unauthorized people to access to our private facilities puts safety and security at great risk. To address the increase in these incidents, we have implemented a new camera system that monitors all access points in real time. Members found assisting others in unauthorized entry, and thereby violating the policy, will be subject to penalties that could include membership suspension for repeated violations. It is our intent that the enforcement of these rules will contribute to maintaining a safe and purposeful atmosphere within the fitness center. Your cooperation and commitment to these guidelines will play a crucial role in upholding the integrity of our gym community. Together, we can create a space where everyone feels secure and can fully enjoy the benefits of a dedicated fitness environment. Please review the attached updated 24-hour access policy. And, should you have any concerns about safety, security or behavior at the fitness center, please do not hesitate to contact the Fitness Center Director at 770-324-3175. Thank you for your attention and support in this matter. Best Regards, Andrea Mathis andrea.mathis@hmsgolf.com 770-324-3175

JOIN OUR B-FIT COMMUNITY and Spring into Renewed Health! Embracing Renewal As the season of renewal unfolds, take inspiration from nature. Just as flowers bloom, it’s time for your well-being to flourish. Start by incorporating fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables to give your body the nourishment it deserves. Outdoor Rejuvenation March invites us to step outside and soak in the rejuvenating energy of nature. Consider taking your workouts outdoors– whether it’s a brisk walk in the park, a yoga session on the grass or a meditation under the open sky. Let nature amplify the benefits for both physical and mental well-being. Mindful Moments In the hustle of daily life, carve out moments for mindfulness. Whether it’s through meditation, deep breathing exercises or simply enjoying a quiet cup of tea, these practices can bring peace to your mind and foster a sense of balance. Pamper Your Body Treat your body to some extra care this month. Consider a warm bath infused with essential oils, indulge in a spa day at home, or simply ensure you get a good night’s sleep. Your body works hard for you, it’s time to give back with intentional moments of relaxation. Soulful Connections Nurture your soul by cultivating meaningful connections. Spend quality time with loved ones, engage in activities that bring you joy, and reflect on the aspects of your life that fill your heart with gratitude. Social connections contribute significantly to our overall well-being. As we march into spring, let’s prioritize self-care and allow the season’s energy to inspire a holistic approach to wellness. Remember, nurturing your body and soul is not just a luxury but a necessity for a fulfilling and balanced life.

HERE’S WHAT MEMBERS ARE SAYING ABOUT OUR B-FIT GROUP FITNESS CLASSES The BMAC workouts and instructors are awesome! I look forward to going to classes each week because the group of ladies in class are fun and encouraging, and the instructors are knowledgeable, positive and keep the workouts fresh and challenging! Strength training and flexibility are two areas that I continually need to work on, and I believe these classes help me grow in those areas. - Lindsay A

The group fitness classes are a great way for tennis and pickleball players to stay in shape and reduce the risk of injury, while having fun. - Joyce C

I started attending the fitness classes right after we moved to Georgia (in my third trimester of pregnancy). I’ve now been back a few months after having my baby and I can attest that while the workouts are challenging, they are also adaptable to your fitness levels and individual circumstances so don’t let those concerns stop you from coming. The instructors and the group as a whole, will make you feel welcome right away as if they’ve known you forever. Great group and great workouts! - Mandy S

Wishing you a vibrant and rejuvenating March ahead!

LG A NEWS For the last month, your LGA has been hard at work putting together a jampacked schedule of events for 2024. A lot of effort goes into planning tournaments and events, prizes, and menus, to make our time together run as smoothly as possible. So, what have the ladies of the LGA been doing these past winter months? Well, any sunny day found brave souls playing golf even when it was so cold, they had to hammer their tees into the ground. Other members have gotten together to go bowling with their husbands, learned to play to Mahjong, worked at The Mart in Atlanta, attended wine tasting class, and others were just out shooting stuff! This is a very diverse group! With the cold rainy winter months behind us we are all looking forward to the nice days lying ahead. Our 2024 season will begin with the always fun Tipsy Tee Time hosted by BMAC on March 13th. The event will begin on the driving range at 4:00 pm with tips and instruction from the pros, possibly some skill games, and fun cocktails. This is a complimentary event for LGA members and includes drinks and snacks on the driving range. For those wanting to play 9 holes of golf after, there will be a shotgun start at 5:00 pm. Golf rate will apply. All are welcome to stick around after golf and grab dinner on your own at Featherstones. Register via the LGA Event Page on the GroupMe app by noon on Monday, March 11th. Our LGA Kickoff event will be the Spring Fling Tournament on Saturday, March 23rd, at 10:00 am. This event is open to all LGA members. The format will be a 4-person scramble. Sign up as an individual and foursomes will be created based on handicaps. Cost will include golf, tee gift, lunch, and prizes. The event will be added to the LGA Event Page in the GroupMe app for registration. In addition to the LGA and BMAC sponsored events, many of our members have joined groups outside the community. Two of the most popular organizations are River North and the LPGA Amateurs Atlanta. River North provides an opportunity to play at various courses around the area. Each club in the group plays host throughout the season. For match schedule and more information reach out to Sally Peterson via Golf Buddies. For more information about LPGA Amateurs check out their website at www.lpgaamateursatlanta.com. See you on the course! ADVERTISING SPONSOR
