Lake Arrowhead Living 2020 SUPER BOWL SCRAMBLE On January 25, a team from Lake Arrowhead won this year’s Super Bowl Scramble. While a typical 4-person scramble golf tournament, scoring for this event was based on a football analogy. For example, a bogey (safety) was worth negative 2 points, a par (field goal) was worth 3 points, a birdie (touchdown) was worth 6 points, and an eagle (touchdown and 2 point conversion) was worth 8 points. In addition, a team could earn one or two extra points for each birdie by sinking either a short or long putt. Using this format the winning team scored 105 points. Overall, 11 teams (43 golfers) competed in the tournament and the Club awarded prizes to the first 2 teams in 2 flights. Each 1st Flight winning team member received a football trophy and proshop gift certificate. Other winners received pro-shop gift certificates. The winners are shown in the pictures below.
