REFLECTING ON THE FIRST MONTH OF NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS, A JOURNEY OF PROGRESS As January comes to a close, reflecting on the initial month of our New Year’s resolutions becomes a pivotal checkpoint. Whether we’ve triumphed in incorporating new habits or faced unforeseen challenges, this period offers valuable insights into our journey of personal growth. Small victories in consistency deserve celebration, serving as fuel for continued motivation throughout the year. Acknowledging these successes, no matter how minor, reinforces the commitment to positive change. For those encountering setbacks, this is an opportunity to reassess goals and adapt expectations realistically. Life’s unpredictability can test the resilience of resolutions, but setbacks are not failures; they are opportunities to learn, adjust and refine our approach.

HERE’S WHAT MEMBERS ARE SAYING ABOUT OUR B-FIT GROUP FITNESS CLASSES The classes have become something I genuinely look forward to! The instructors always find new ways to educate us, all while pushing us out of our comfort zone, which makes for an excellent workout! - Raquel S.

I Love the workouts and everyone has been so inviting and sweet! The instructors are so good at helping each individual master the classes. Come join us, you will love them! - Mary M.

I look forward to the classes and working out! The instructors have taught me so much and I’m still a work in progress. They’re great at explaining what we are working on and the correct way to do it. Such a fun group. - Kim S

As February unfolds, let’s approach our resolutions with renewed vigor, recognizing that the journey of self-improvement is a continuous evolution. Embrace the process, relish each day as an opportunity to move closer to the desired outcomes and persist in the pursuit of becoming the best versions of ourselves.

GOLF INSTRUCTION GEORGIA GOLF PERFORMANCE

TIPS FROM THE PROS Why Chip with a Wedge? From the side of the green, why do most less-skilled players “chip” with a wedge, seeking to fly the ball up to nearer the hole? Why play a shot that requires a lot of “execution skill” vs a 7-iron bump and run that is easier to play more consistently? Could it be that most golfers haven’t practiced a bump and run with a club like the #7 iron? Could it be that most don’t know how to set up to be consistent with the most control over this shot? Could it be as simple as visualization? Try this for yourself at a practice green. Take one practice with each of a 3-wood (yes, try a bump and run with a 3-wood), 7-iron, and pitching wedge from the greenside and then…From the same starting point, play 3 shots with each of those clubs at the same target. There are some grip, setup, and impact location tricks that can turn you into a player opponents hate. You’ll make save after save, and even sink some. Come and learn those tricks. Develop those skills. If you want to give yourself the gift of a better greenside performance, send us a message, and let's make it happen.
