BREATHE EASIER We know consistent exercise is essential to maintain your health. With winter coming quickly and a pandemic still upon us, finding a place you feel comfortable to get that exercise is a challenge. GREAT NEWS! The BridgeMill Athletic Club Fitness Center now has a REME HALO® Air Purifier system. This system has been tested and proven to be 99.9% effective at neutralizing the COVID-19 virus! And better yet, the HALO system is capable of purifying every cubic inch of air that our heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system reaches. Come try a new fitness class with us this winter and feel confident in your decision to stay fit and healthy all year long!
REME HALO® IN-DUCT AIR PURIFIER The award winning REME HALO® is the next generation of indoor air quality (IAQ) technology. With increased ionized hydro-peroxide output and the enhanced catalyst with zinc it is capable of purifying every cubic inch of air that the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system reaches. It is effective against all three categories of indoor air pollutants: Particulates, Microbials and Gases. Thoroughly tested to safely remove the risks of airborne and surface bacteria, mold spores and viruses, such as MRSA, e-coli, and Norwalk, to name a few.
HOW IT WORKS: The REME HALO® utilizes RGF’s patent-pending Reflective Electro Magnetic Energy technology. Installed into the supply plenum of the existing air conditioning or heating system air ducts, the REME HALO® produces Hydro-Peroxide plasma that is distributed through the air handler, through the duct system and into the conditioned living space. Unlike passive air technologies, which need pollutants to pass through the unit for purification or filtration, the REME HALO® sweeps through the area actively purifying pollutants at the source. In addition, the charged plasma induces particles to coagulate or stick together making them bigger and easier for your filter to catch. Hydro-Peroxide occur naturally in the earth’s atmosphere and are part of nature’s process of cleaning the air. The redesigned and improved REME HALO® HVAC unit features higher Ionized Hydro-Peroxide output, which gives faster kill rates for microbial contaminants in the air as well as on surfaces. This higher output also drops more particulates from the air bringing relief to those who suffer from allergies and other respiratory issues. Now with quick release features for the cell and housing for faster cell replacement and an adjustable shroud for customization of the advanced oxidation plasma output.

GOLF NEWS They believed they could so they did‌ that is the mantra of our Ladies Golf Association as they celebrated the ribbon cutting of the newly renovated ladies lounge on December 12th. Fresh paint, new furniture, built in cubbies and sparkling clean lockers all make for a relaxing place for us to gather and enjoy each others company after a round of golf. Vanessa had the vision. Missie and Denise had the painting skills. Molly and Stacy had the cleaning and sanding capabilities. Kelly and Hank had the building skills to create the window covering as well as furniture delivery. With the financial support of the Haslam’s, we are all proud to have been part of this project. ** Therese Powers had an eagle on Hole 6 while playing couples golf in December!! ** Our January event was a field trip to Top Golf in Alpharetta. We had a blast with a mini competition, snacks and a lot of laughs. In February we will meet at the PGA Superstore for a short game lesson then practice in the hitting bay area. We will provide some snacks and all participants are encouraged to BYOB. Plan to join us on Sunday February 28th from 1-4. Watch the Golf Buddies app for updated Information and a sign up link. Regular play will start on Wednesday, March 17th and this will kick off our season. Note: our golf days have been changed to Wednesdays which we will call Nine and Wine Wednesdays. Kelly has some great tournament events lined up to be mixed in with just regular play. If you do not have an established handicap, this might be a good time to work on that as our events winners will be handicap based. Anyone in the Pro Shop can help with that process.

ADULT INSTRUCTION AT GEORGIA GOLF PERFORMANCE Our GGP instructors are here to help players of all skill levels to improve their games and lower their scores. We create an individualized improvement plan to accomplish your golfing goals and personalize your practice routine to accelerate your golfing goal. We offer private instruction as well as group classes. Visit our website at GeorgiaGolfPerformance.com to see our current schedule for group classes.
TIPS FROM THE PROS Know Your Game - A more considered approach A perfect strike doesn’t guarantee a good shot. A good shot is one that lands where you expected it to. And to do that, there are three things you need to consider. Wind: What direction is it coming from? How strong is it? Lie: Could you be lying in a flyer? Is there any slope? Elevation: Is your target level with, above or below you?
Generate and transfer more power to increase swing speed
Combine this with your knowledge of how far you usually hit every club, and you arrive at the truth about which club you need to take on your approach. Many golfers base their carry distances on a perfect strike, rather than how they USUALLY strike the ball. And because of that, they often take too little club. Knowing how far you hit every club is going to save you shots, and shocks. If you’re unsure about your true carry distances, then when we next see you, let’s talk about it.
WINTER TRAINING Our academy building has an indoor putting area and two large bays with heaters so you can comfortably train all year long in any weather conditions.
