Ultrasound Cavitation Ultrasound cavitation — also known as ultrasonic cavitation, cavi-lipo, or ultra cavitation — is one of the latest body contouring options to hit the market. Ultrasound cavitation is a non-invasive body contouring treatment that uses ultrasonic waves to turn fat cells into free fatty acids, which are easier for the body to eliminate.

MGA PAR THREE Mark your calendars on December 8th for the final event of the year – the MGA Par Three.

Yes you heard that right … all 18 holes will be converted to par three’s. Candy Canes will mark the tee boxes and be prepared for some interesting shots. In years past, we have shot at the #17 Green from both the #18 Tee Box over the maintenance building and from #13 Tee Box over the trees. GOLF NEWS BRIDGEMILL LGA UPDATE by Molly Maher Our golf season ended October 31, but we are still enjoying great socials and fun times with friends in the Ladies Golf Association.

Thursday, November 8th was our last Girls Night Out (GNO) for this year. Liz Gallogly hosted a fun event at Featherstone’s. We enjoyed a social and dinner that was followed by a short business meeting led by our President Debra Smith. After a question and answer period regarding future events, Playdate chair Molly Maher, passed out pins to acknowledge birdies and chip ins. Terry Johnson, Liz Gallogly and Stacy Propes all had birdies in October. Stacy also received two additional pins: one for a chip in and the second for the first time she broke 100 on an 18 hole round. Take a look at the birdie tree in the ladies locker room where all the achievements for this golf season have been posted.

Congrats to all the ladies that have played with our group this year.

Saturday December 1 was our annual Christmas luncheon. The afternoon was filled with a wonderfully prepared meal, awards, raffles, giveaways and memories from the past year. Thanks to the 2018 board of officers for their endless efforts in LGA events throughout the year: Debra Smith, Jan Small, Bev Gilley, Joyce Gozenbach, Nancy Gillenwater, Kelly Cook, Molly Maher, Liz Gallogly and Char Bailey.

NEW PLAYER DEVELOPMENT TENNIS 1-2-3 BEGINNER CLINICS 5-week beginner class – Learn the basics about strokes and how to play.

Please register in advance for all drills. Space is limited.

The tennis courts are for Club members and their guests only. Accompanied guest fees are $10 per person. Athletic members and their guests are also required to pay the $10 per person court fee. Court fees should be paid before play.

Unaccompanied guests are not allowed to use the tennis courts.

LEAGUE ROSTER DEADLINES ALTA LEAGUE - All Spring ALTA roster deadlines – January 21st. This includes Men, Thursday Women, Weekend Women, Senior Day and Junior leagues. Players on BridgeMill league teams must be Tennis or Golf members in good standing. Captains must get approval from the Tennis Department before submitting a roster to the league. EXCEL JUNIOR TENNIS ACADEMY FALL PROGRAM SCHEDULE EXCEL FUTURE STARS 5-7 years – This group uses the red dot ball to train and size appropriate equipment. Focus is on developing skills used in tennis in a fun way! These classes will start up in March.

8-10 years – Geared for beginner players or those with little experience. Group uses age appropriate equipment (orange dot ball) to train. Classes are 1 hour.

11-12 years – Beginner level – Classes are 1 hour.

13-16 years – Beginner level – Classes are 1 hour EXCEL ACADEMY 12U intermediate – Uses the green dot ball to train 8-13 years – intermediate players – Uses regular balls to train High School & advanced players – This group is for players that play on a high school team or play tournaments Sessions are 2 hours and include footwork and conditioning.

BRIDGEMILL SIXES SERVICE LEAGUE The BridgeMill Sixes Service League (BSSL) has had a great fall season and we are enjoying events that will generate donation for Cherokee County charities. If you are wanting to get involved with a group of ladies and you enjoy volunteer work for the county that we live in, please come to our next BSSL meeting. We would enjoy getting to know you and you can see for yourself what a focused and energetic group with have right here in BridgeMill.

December is the month to put on your favorite Christmas sweater and join us for caroling at a local nursing home.

We will post the date and location on our Facebook page and would like to extend an invitation to please come and plan to sing with gusto as we get in the holiday spirit and join some seniors for a “just for fun� event.

October 4th was our Painting for a Purpose evening hosted by Susan Silverman and Mary Wierchert. We

raised over $900 for Angel House which is a local charity for young women trying to get their lives back on track.

Thanks to Susan and Mary for their hard work and amazing organization of this event.

October 19th was our Bingo event that was able to generate money for donations to several charities. Ruth Clark and Cheryl Karr hosted this event with help from their fellowship committee: Carol Goebel, Jackie Dimbert, Helen Tucker, Deborah Holder and Susan Grimes. There was many favorable remarks regarding this event in relation to the food, prizes and festive atmosphere of this causal evening.

The BridgeMill Sixes Service League also does fun things like dining out, bunco, and book club. Please try to come to come to our January meeting and start the New Year with a plan to give back to our community with your time, talent or treasures.
