AUGUST 2024
AUGUST 2024
We had a blast this Summer at Kids Camp! Friendships, team-building skills, and lifelong memories were made. Both campers and counselors formed their own community within BridgeMill, thriving all Summer long. The campers created bonds that will last a lifetime. Our campers participated in a variety of sports, both team and individual. They enjoyed golf and tennis lessons once a week, had their own weekly fitness sessions with Holly and learned fun animal yoga poses with Maha. Through these sporting activities, they learned how to win and lose together, encouraging each other throughout the process. Campers also engaged in numerous hands-on activities. They made their own slushies, created erupting volcanoes, and crafted both edible and non-edible jewelry. These children made countless memories playing on the playground, swimming in the pool, challenging each other in board games, and just being kids.
Thank you to all the parents and families for your support this Summer. A special thanks to all the BridgeMill Athletic Club staff for helping make this Summer a success! We can't wait to see what next Summer brings!

One of the top comics to come out of Washington D.C., Mark has been described in the press as "funny without being vulgar or nasty" and "going the smarter, hipper direction to the joke."
His warm stage presence and stand-up talents have landed him appearances on several network, syndicated, and cable television programs including "Night Shift", CNBC's America's Talking Network, and the nationally syndicated "Bob and Tom" radio show.

Yoga, an ancient practice from India, offers numerous benefits for both physical and mental health. Combining physical postures, breath control, and meditation, yoga provides a holistic approach to fitness and well-being.
PHYSICAL BENEFITS
Yoga enhances flexibility, strength, and balance. Regular practice can improve posture, reduce chronic pain, and increase muscle tone. Dynamic styles like Vinyasa and Ashtanga elevate the heart rate, promoting cardiovascular health.
MENTAL BENEFITS
Yoga reduces stress by activating the parasympathetic nervous system through breathwork and meditation, lowering cortisol levels. It also encourages mindfulness, enhancing mental clarity and focus, and reducing anxiety.
HOLISTIC HEALTH BENEFITS
Beyond physical and mental benefits, yoga can improve sleep quality, boost the immune system, and foster a deeper mind-body connection, promoting overall well-being.
Incorporating yoga into your fitness routine can lead to a healthier, more balanced life, enhancing flexibility, reducing stress, and fostering holistic health.

Dear BridgeMill Athletic Club Members,
Unfortunately, we have identified an increasing issue happening during some of these open hours. We have recorded numerous instances of members with 24-hour access fobs opening the doors to individuals without access fobs. This is a violation of our 24-hour access policy that our members agreed to upon acceptance of the access fob. Allowing unauthorized people to access to our private facilities puts safety and security at great risk.
To address the increase in these incidents, we have implemented a new camera system that monitors all access points in real time. Members found assisting others in unauthorized entry, and thereby violating the policy, will be subject to penalties that could include membership suspension for repeated violations.
It is our intent that the enforcement of these rules will contribute to maintaining a safe and purposeful atmosphere within the fitness center. Your cooperation and commitment to these guidelines will play a crucial role in upholding the integrity of our gym community. Together, we can create a space where everyone feels secure and can fully enjoy the benefits of a dedicated fitness environment.
Should you have any concerns about safety, security or behavior at the fitness center, please do not hesitate to contact the Fitness Center Director at 770-324-3175.
