CLUB BUSINESS
MARINA PAVILION RULES RULES OF THE LAKE
HOURS OF OPERATION The Marina Pavilion will be open dawn to dusk or during sanctioned LAYCC events.
FOOD & BEVERAGE Food and beverages are allowed to be carried onto the Pavilion. No glass bottles or beer kegs are permitted. No grilling or preparation of food is allowed. All trash must be placed in the trash receptacles on the shore.
PERSONAL CHAIRS Property owners are allowed to bring their own folding chairs on to the Pavilion. They must be taken with you when you leave, i.e. chairs cannot be left behind.
ATTIRE Members and guests shall dress in attire befitting the surroundings of the community. Extremely revealing attire, such as a thong, is not suitable for the family atmosphere of the Marina Pavilion.
NO SWIMMING No swimming is permitted from the Marina Pavilion or docks anywhere in the “No Wake” zone. No running or diving is permitted from the Pavilion or docks.
NO FISHING No fishing is allowed from the Marina Pavilion or docks.
BOATS Boats can tie up on the side of the walkway only where there are cleats and cannot at any time tie up to the Pavilion. Maximum time at the walkway is 1 hour (or 15 minutes if others are waiting). These areas are intended for drop off and pickup.
PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES No grilling, skateboarding, bicycles, rollerblading, sunbathing, or feeding the wildlife is permitted on the Marina Pavilion or docks.
PETS Pets are not allowed on the Marina Pavilion.
1. All requirements set forth in the Georgia Boating Safety Act shall apply on Lake Arrowhead lakes (Lake Arrowhead and Lake Chickasaw). This includes carrying life preservers for passengers and crew.
2. Only registered watercraft displaying a current Lake Arrowhead registration decal are permitted on Lake Arrowhead lakes.
3. All watercraft operating in the northern part of Lake Arrowhead, as well as other areas with NO WAKE buoys, must use a speed that generates no wake.
4. The body of water viewed from the Marina area (a.k.a. main lake) is an all sports area. All motorized watercraft are to follow a COUNTER CLOCKWISE direction.
5. At slow speeds, traffic can go in either direction on the lake ONLY in these locations: Within 100 ft North of the dam, within 100 ft South of the Narrows "No Wake Buoys", and in the middle on an East/West straight line to/from "Honeymoon Cove."
6. All watercraft pulling people (i.e. skier, tuber, etc.) must have either two (2) persons aboard (one driver and one safety observer at least 12 years of age) or the watercraft MUST be equipped with a wide angle rear view mirror so the driver is aware of the location of the person being pulled at all times. All people being pulled MUST wear approved U.S Coast Guard life vests.
7. The number of skiers is limited to two (2) per boat at the same time. As soon as one skier drops the second skier must drop immediately thereafter. Skiers should raise one (1) ski, wakeboard, or kneeboard while in water with a slack towline to warn other boats in the area.
8. All occupants of canoes, rowboats, hydrobikes, paddle-boats, SUPs, kayaks, etc., should wear appropriate life vests. These vessels should stay close to a shore (Georgia law requires children 10 and under to wear a life jacket at all times on a boat unless the child is in an enclosed cabin).
9. All watercraft must use running lights after sundown. Use docking lights when approaching a docking area only, they can be blinding to other boaters.
10. Swimming in the lake is not permitted in and around the Marina area other than in the designated Swimming Area. All children, below a responsible age, swimming in the lake must wear a life vest and be supervised by an adult 18 years of age or older.
11. Personal watercraft (i.e. Jet Skis, Wave Runners and SeaDoos) are PROHIBITED on Lake Arrowhead.
12. Drunkenness, drug use, rowdy behavior, obscene language and littering are not permitted on the lakes.
13. All powered watercraft users should slow down when passing close to anglers, nonmotorized watercraft and swimmers on rafts/tubes and minimize their wakes in coves as well. Ski boats or other high speed watercraft running parallel to NO WAKE areas should move farther out from the NO WAKE buoys so that they do not produce a potentially dangerous wake in the designated NO WAKE areas.
DRY STORAGE A free dry storage decal has been mailed to those who rent a space. This decal must be visible and placed on an item. In addition each trailer, camper, RV, motorhome and watercraft must also display a current decal. If you drive it, you need a vehicle decal. If you have a trailer/camper, you need a trailer/other decal. Vehicle decals ARE available at the South Gate and all others at the Administration office. All items MUST display a current decal to continue using a Lake Arrowhead Dry Storage and Boat Slip. As a reminder, it is a violation of the covenants to park or store the following: boats, vehicles, trailers, campers, RVs, etc. on your property. Agreements may be terminated at any time due to past due accounts.
The Lake Arrowhead Lake Committee, a group of resident volunteers working under the direction of Mike Ludden (committee chairman) and Kim Jordan (LAPOA Board Member), have assembled some important lake topics:
LAKE RULES / NO WAKE
ZONES Rules regarding the safe operation of watercraft on Lake Arrowhead can be found in a number of different places - this magazine, Club Rules and Regulations, the LAPOA website, and finally in "Lake Information" brochures which are widely available. Our lake is small and boat traffic is growing so it is critical that all boat operators familiarize themselves with these rules. As excessive speed in NO WAKE areas remains the #1 reported concern, a modification to our "no wake" guidance has been implemented for 2026: All watercraft operating in the northern part of Lake Arrowhead, in any cove, as well as in other areas designated with NO WAKE buoys, must operate at a speed of less than 5 MPH and which generates no wake for the protection of people and property. Additionally, in accordance with Georgia Law, boats must operate at idle (slowest forward) speed within 100 feet of any shoreline, dock, other vessel, or persons in the water. Boat operators are reminded that they are responsible for any damage caused by their wakes.
BOAT & TRAILER REGISTRATION
ALL boats and ALL watercraft (kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, paddleboards, waterbikes, etc), as well as trailers, are required to have a current registration sticker which must be posted on the vessel or on the paddle of an inflatable craft. Operators of motorized boats are required to provide proof of liability insurance with limits not less than $300,000 in support of their registration requests. Registration forms can be accessed on-line at lakearrowheadclub. net, or in-person at either security gate, or from the Administration office. Compliance with boat/ watercraft/trailer registration policy has been lacking in recent years. Residents are reminded that these fees, while nominal, are mandatory and help care for our most valuable community amenity. And the insurance verification required for ALL motorized boats is in place for everyone's protection.
LAYC
SHORELINE EROSION Boats
travelling at excessive speed too close to the eastern shore of Lake Arrowhead are contributing to shoreline erosion. Operators are reminded to maintain a safe minimum distance from shoreline (at least 100' per Georgia Law) while underway. Towing especially results in boat wakes that are larger and more destructive. Boat drivers are reminded to operate their boats as close to the center of the lake as possible to minimize shoreline damage in accordance with Lake Arrowhead policy.
BOAT CLUB The LAYC Pontoon Club offers an exclusive opportunity for Lake Arrowhead residents to enjoy the lake without the hassle of boat ownership. Homeowners may join the club with an annual membership commitment of $120 for the year. Membership does not renew automatically. Enrollment is open to all property owners in good standing, providing a cost-effective way to access our fleet of well-maintained pontoon boats. The boathouse operates 4 new / nearly-new pontoon boats for exclusive use by boat club members. Do you like to fish but are frustrated with the limited areas to fish from the shore? Join the boat club and chase the big ones out in the deep water. Do you enjoy swimming in the crystal clear water of Lake Arrowhead but don't care for the crowds at the swim area? Join the boat club and cruise with your family and friends to picnic and swim in a secluded cove. Contact the Administration office for information and to sign up. New to boating? All new memberships include free lessons (a $400 value).
BOATHOUSE SERVICES / KAYAK RACKS Capt Rob's staff is available to assist with boat rentals as well as powerboat, sailboat, and kayak instruction. In addition, 24 new kayak racks have been installed for resident rental at the marina. Contact the boathouse at boatsforrent@gmail.com for information. The boathouse is open from mid April to mid November (by rental appointment and weather permitting). And for 2026, the boathouse is modifying their hours of operation to accept rentals from 10 AM to 7 PM seven days a week - opening earlier on Sunday in response to resident requests.

SHORT-TERM RENTAL GUIDELINES: PHASE I

In order to protect and preserve the residential character, property values, and enjoyment of all homeowners within the Lake Arrowhead community, please observe the following guidelines for relative to short-term property rentals of Lake Arrowhead Phase I units.
1. Short-term property rentals (less than 6 months) are strictly prohibited in both Phase II and Phase III of Lake Arrowhead. The maximum number of occupants should be restricted to no more than two individuals per bedroom.
2. Short-term rentals should be registered with LA Security gate they intend to enter, and identified as short-term rentals so that the appropriate identification may be provided at check-in
a. Amenity use cards, identifying renters and associated unit address
b. Vehicle “hang tag” for vehicles
3. All rental agreements should include an acknowledgement that renters have received and agree to abide by the Lake Arrowhead Rules and Regulations
a. If boat usage is included with the rental of the home, a printed copy of the lake rules and restrictions should be included with the rental agreement, a copy should be left in the home, and a laminated copy should be placed in the boat and/or attached to the boat key
b. Violations of the lake rules and regulations may result in revocation of the issued boat permit and result in suspension of lake access privileges
4. Homeowners are responsible for the actions of guests and renters of their home and violations of the Covenants or Rules and Regulations will typically be handled in the following manner:
a. 1st infraction – issuance of written warning to homeowner
b. 2nd infraction – 30-day suspension of common property access and privileges for homeowner, including any invited guests and renters
c. 3rd infraction – 12-month suspension of common amenity access and privileges for homeowner, including any invited guests and renters
d. 4th infraction – permanent loss of common amenity access and privileges for homeowner, including any invited guests and renters
e. Addition steps may be taken depending on the nature of the infraction, including contacting the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department or taking additional legal to enforce the community governing documents
f. Common property damage by renters, if applicable, will be levied against the lot owner
g. Egregious infractions may result in immediate suspension of common property access and privileges or other sanctions
5. “Party Houses” are strictly prohibited and deemed a nuisance and violation of the Lake Arrowhead Covenants, Article III, Section 19. Party Houses are also prohibited by popular short-term rental companies (Airbnb and VRBO) and nuisance properties will be reported to the appropriate listing entity.

SHORT-TERM RENTAL ORDINANCE CHEROKEE COUNTY, GEORGIA
Cherokee County, Georgia has recently adopted an ordinance regarding short-term rentals. The full ordinance is available at cherokeega.com/ ShortTermRentalOrdinanceCherokeeCounty20210806. pdf, but we wanted to make each property owner aware of this ordinance and have highlighted a few of the key points in the ordinance.
1. The purpose of the ordinance is to establish standards for short-term rentals of privately-owned residential structures rented to transient occupants, minimize adverse effects of short-term rental uses on surrounding residential neighborhoods, and preserve the character of residential neighborhoods.
2. A certificate is required to lawfully rent, operate, or advertise any property for short-term rental.
a. Owners must apply to the Cherokee County Development Services Center on an annual basis for a certificate.
b. Certificates require an initial administration fee and annual renewal fees.
3. The Certificate number must be listed in any advertisement for the rental of the property.
4. No short-term rental shall offer more than five (5) bedrooms for rent.
5. The use of outdoor speakers by short-term rentals is prohibited.
6. The number of occupants shall not exceed two persons per bedroom plus two additional persons.
7. The short-term rental must have parking off the street sufficient for one car for each bedroom being rented.
Parking shall only be on designated hard surfaced areas.
8. Quiet hours are 12:00 a.m. midnight to 7:00 a.m. daily, 12:00 a.m. midnight Saturday to 1:00 p.m. Sunday).
9. The Cherokee County Marshal’s office (678.493.4080) is tasked with enforcement of the ordinance.
CREDIT CARD PROCESSING FEES
On November 11, 2025, we upgraded our credit card processing system. This change was necessary to offer you an additional, more convenient payment method: ACH withdrawals directly from your bank account. As part of the transition, all previously stored credit card information has been deleted from the old processor’s secure servers.
CRITICAL ACTION REQUIRED: If you use a credit card for recurring monthly payments, you must visit or call the Administration Office at 770-721-7912 so we can re-enter your credit card information or assist you in selecting a different payment method.
We would also like to inform you of an important upcoming change: beginning January 1, 2026, a 2.95% convenience fee will be applied to all charges on accounts paid with a credit card. This fee will not appear until your account is charged on January 30, 2026. Please note that payments made by check or through the new ACH option will not incur this fee. Additionally, the convenience fee will not apply to purchases made in the Pro Shop or Grill when you pay as you go by credit card. The fee will only apply to maintenance fees and items charged to your account that are paid by credit card at the end of the month. Please be aware that any maintenance fees paid by credit card, regardless of when the payment is made, will incur the convenience fee.
After extensive review, the LAPOA Board and LAYCC management determined that this change is necessary. The Club currently absorbs all credit card processing fees, which are projected to exceed $200,000 this year alone. Redirecting these costs will allow us to allocate more funds back into the community—most significantly toward infrastructure improvements.
ATTENTION PROPERTY OWNERS WHO RENT OUT YOUR HOME:
Please notify your tenants that all Resident Guests (all those who rent, lease, or otherwise occupy a home which they do not legally own) are required to renew.

When an Exterior Work Permit is approved, the owner will be sent an 8 ½ x 11 permit that shall be placed in a window on the first floor of the property. The blue permit sign indicates that work on the property was reviewed and approved by the Architectural Review Committee.

LAKE ARROWHEAD GROUP GOLF TRIP TO NEW ZEALAND
February 12 – March 2, 2026
From February 12 through March 2, 2026, a group of 20 Lake Arrowhead residents and friends traveled to New Zealand for an unforgettable golf adventure. The trip included 13 golfers and 7 non-golfers and had been more than a year in the planning.
Travelers included: David Davis & Roz Waldron, Uel & Laura Kemp, Scott & Paula Hall, Mike & Lorrie Heath, Tim & Debbie Haley, Shane & Jan Benefield, Jeff & Jeanne Schwartz, Wit & Robin Truitt, Randy Sock & Lisa Ward, and Dayne & Anne Pryor.
The group gathered at the Auckland airport on February 14th after departing the United States on February 12th—a reminder of the strange experience of crossing the International Date Line and “losing” a day. Upon arrival, transportation took the group to the Hotel Britomart located beside the beautiful Auckland Harbor.
AUCKLAND AND TITIRANGI
February 14th was a day to explore Auckland independently before the group met for a wonderful welcome dinner at The Oyster & Chop Restaurant overlooking the harbor.
On February 15th, ten golfers played Titirangi Golf Club, the only course in New Zealand designed by famed architect Alister Mackenzie, who also designed Augusta National, Cypress Point, Pasatiempo, and Royal Melbourne. The course was stunning, although the wind was blowing close to 40 mph. Meanwhile, several members of the group toured Hobbiton, the famous filming location for the Shire in The Lord of the Rings movies.
RUSSELL AND THE BAY OF ISLANDS
The group traveled on February 16th to the beautiful seaside town of Russell in the Bay of Islands—an incredible setting that would become a recurring theme throughout the trip. That evening everyone gathered for dinner at the historic Duke of Marlborough Hotel.
The following day, 13 golfers (along with two riders) played Kauri Cliffs, widely considered one of the most spectacular golf course settings in the world. The remaining non-golfers enjoyed a private tour of the Bay of Islands.
On February 18th the entire group enjoyed a relaxing private sail aboard the Silver Wave through the Bay of Islands, complete with a freshly prepared lunch and stunning scenery. It was one of many highlights of the trip.
TE ARAI GOLF LINKS
The group then traveled to Te Arai Golf Links on February 19th. That afternoon, the golfers played the spectacular seaside South Course, designed by Masters Champion Ben
Crenshaw and Bill Coore. The evening concluded with dinner at The Ocean Restaurant overlooking the 18th hole and the Pacific Ocean.
The next day, twelve golfers played the North Course, a Tom Doak design with an inland layout reminiscent of Pinehurst. Non-golfers enjoyed a guided tour that included a visit to Sculptureum, a fascinating combination of sculpture gardens and art galleries.
February 23rd brought a round at the world-famous Cape Kidnappers Golf Course, one of the most picturesque courses on earth and frequently ranked among the most beautiful. Its signature holes—the 15th and 16th—are dramatic backto-back par fives perched along towering seaside cliffs. One memorable moment came when a bunker shot on the 15th left barely three feet between the bunker edge and a sheer drop to the ocean below!
NAPIER AND CAPE KIDNAPPERS
On February 21st the group traveled to Havelock North. The following day included a tour of Napier, with a stop at the local Farmer’s Market before enjoying the lively Napier Art Deco Festival. The town was filled with antique cars and visitors dressed in 1920s and 1930s fashion. Lunch was enjoyed at Church Road Winery.

That evening the entire group gathered for a private BBQ dinner at Cape Kidnappers followed by a putting contest, which was won by Lorrie Heath.
LAKE TAUPO
On February 24th the group traveled to Lake Taupo. Golfers stopped to play Wairakei Golf + Sanctuary, a unique course set within a wildlife sanctuary where deer, pheasants, and other animals roam freely. The group stayed at the Lake Taupo Hilton with beautiful views over the lake.
The following day, eleven golfers played Kinloch Golf Club, the only course in New Zealand designed by Jack Nicklaus and widely considered the most challenging course of the trip.
That afternoon everyone enjoyed a private sailing excursion on Lake Taupo. The lake, which sits inside the crater of a dormant volcano, is the largest in New Zealand—large enough to fit the entire city of Singapore within its boundaries, with depths exceeding 600 feet.
QUEENSTOWN AND MILFORD SOUND
February 26th was a travel day to Queenstown—and fortunately the only rainy day during the entire 17-day trip. For many in the group, the highlight of the journey came on February 27th when sixteen members took private helicopter tours from Queenstown to Milford Sound. The helicopters landed on a glacier, in Milford Sound itself, and in an alpine location for lunch—an unforgettable
experience.
ARROWTOWN AND JACK’S POINT
On February 28th, nine golfers played Arrowtown Golf Club, affectionately nicknamed “Narrowtown” by locals due to its tight fairways. The non-golfers toured Arrowtown and the surrounding area.
During this time, Dayne Pryor arranged a red stag hunt and
successfully harvested a world-class trophy measuring over 500 inches—an impressive accomplishment.
The final full day of golf on March 1st took place at Jack’s Point Golf Course near Queenstown. Set between the Remarkables mountain range and Lake Wakatipu, it is one of the most scenic courses anywhere. The group battled extremely strong winds that day—gusts reaching up to 50 mph—but still enjoyed the incredible setting.
Non-golfers toured the Gibbston wine region, and that evening the entire group celebrated the trip’s finale with a fantastic dinner at Botswana Butchery.

A TRULY SPECIAL DESTINATION
New Zealand proved to be one of the most scenic destinations in the world. From dramatic coastlines and towering mountains to exceptional golf courses and welcoming people, the country delivered unforgettable experiences for everyone on the trip.
Stay tuned for details on upcoming adventures. The group is already planning its next golf trip to Spain in May 2027, and an exciting South Africa golf and safari trip is being considered for 2028.

REFLECTING BACK AS WE MOVE FORWARD
After a winter filled with chilly mornings and frosty fairways, the ladies of the Lake Arrowhead Ladies Golf Association are eager to dust off their clubs and return to the greens. While cold temperatures kept many golfers indoors, a few dedicated players still managed to sneak in rounds whenever the thermometer crept into the high forties. With spring around the corner and our 2026 Spring Kickoff Dinner approaching, excitement is building for another season of great golf, friendly competition, and the camaraderie that makes the LGA such a special group.

Season Kickoff
Our 2026 season officially begins Thursday, April 2, with the first Cat Fight of the year.
This fun, points-based competition uses your handicap to determine the number of points you need to “pull.” Meet or exceed your points, and you’re a winner! If you have a handicap and are an LGA member, we encourage you to join us on the first Thursday of each month.

Uel has advised the Board that he will create a Ladies Flight for local tournaments once we have four ladies’ foursomes participating. So ladies, let’s work toward signing up four teams for some of our upcoming tournaments!

Last October, the LGA proudly fielded 24 players in the Breast Cancer Fundraiser at Fairways of Canton, helping raise an incredible $28,000 for this important cause. Way to go, ladies!
At the 2025 Fall Meeting, members also voted to make our annual donation to the Cherokee Family Violence Center, continuing our tradition of giving back to the community.

READING FOR THE AGES

The Displacements | Bruce Holsinger | Riverhead Books, NY
It is something of a rarity for me to review the same author again for this column. But I so loved Culpability that I decided to read another Holsinger book – The Displacements. And it was – maybe? –almost? better.
The Displacements is another look at a could/will circumstance that up-ends our lives: in this case, the first ever Category 6 hurricane, which decimates Houston and transforms Miami into a collection of islands.
The central story of “The Displacements” is of the Larsen-Hall family, wealthy inhabitants of Miami who, through a series of blunders and bad investments, wind up living in a FEMA camp in Oklahoma for several months. Daphne is an NPR-listening, Volvo-driving ceramics artist going through the motions with her controlling husband, Brantley, a surgeon. They have two young kids together, Mia and Oliver, as well as Brantley’s son from his first marriage, Gavin, who is living at home on leave from his undergraduate studies at Stanford. When the storm hits, Brantley disappears during a disastrous hospital evacuation and is presumed dead. Everyone flees Miami and nobody can go back: “Four million Floridians decanted into the upper half of the peninsula in a single day.”
Officially, Daphne is now an IDP, an Internally Displaced Person per the nomenclature of FEMA. Unofficially, she is a Luna, named after the hurricane. However she is categorized, she is one of millions of Americans who have been forced to evacuate to “camps” (although they are not referred to as such. They are mega-shelters.)
What happens in the camps is reminiscent of Lord of the Flies, where a civilization is created from scratch. Patterns are repeated; those who feel marginalized or disrespected in some way splinter off, become defensive and/or aggressive. And isolated.
In a creative twist, Holsinger captures the future by imagining an oral history project in which survivors recount their experiences. The imagined excerpts from interviews that Holsinger creates for his novel are interesting and lend authenticity to the story. The project, called The Great Displacement, features content like a story from Kiana Robertson, a 27- year- old rental
car clerk in Denver, whose mother had been in the Superdome during Katrina and evacuated their entire family days before Luna hit. “…so by the time Luna turns and hits, we’re already in Kansas City… we watch CNN over beers in the lobby of a Hyatt, all of us looking at Mama like she’s some kind of prophet while home’s getting carpet- bombed.”
Back to the plot: Daphne and the kids, having accidentally left all their credit cards at home, discover in the megashelter (referred to as “Tooley Farm”) that Brantley was broke, had lapsed on his home insurance payments, had drained his son’s college fund and worse.
At Tooley Farm, conflict comes in many forms, including from Tate Bondurant, a 41-year-old insurance agent who sells drugs, entertains negative thoughts about corporate diversity initiatives and listens to a men’s rights podcast. Tate’s contact Jessamyn, 15 years his junior, has a wayward disposition “like she’d jack a bank if you only asked,” who persuades him to disappear into the approaching chaos with $2 million in drugs she’s stolen from their supplier.
There’s also Lorraine “Rain” Holton, a government disaster aid worker who, while a calming force in Tooley Farm, has to deal with the “Gen Z cynicism” of her daughter -- which is only exacerbated when ICE agents show up to deport some climate refugees -- as well as the secret circulation of drugs and weapons on her watch.
This sort of atmosphere usually prevails in the media, rather than in the pages of a novel. To quote one review: “It’s increasingly possible to pass a good deal of one’s time scrolling through the worst moments of other people’s lives, as if the eye of the hurricane is a sort of dance partner one must keep in step with. In this way “The Displacements” is a thorough translation to fiction of what it can feel like to live right now. It’s hypnotic, it’s upsetting, there are stakes, you still haven’t been blown away.”
So, what exactly is a diaspora?
Officially, diaspora refers to the forced or voluntary scattering of people from their original homeland, creating lasting, distinct communities that maintain cultural, emotional, or economic ties to their origin.
Hurricane induced diasporas are large-scale, often permanent population displacements driven by extreme weather, creating lasting social, economic, and cultural shifts in both displaced communities and host regions.
Key historical examples include the 1899 Puerto Rico hurricane moving laborers to Hawaii, and the 2005 Hurricane Katrina exodus, which displaced 1.5 million people across the United States.
COMMUNITY INTEREST
If you love to play Pickleball or would like to learn, please read on. We have an active group of players at multiple levels, and play times for each group are listed below. We play at the Red Cloud Pickleball and Tennis Center near the Red Cloud Pool. The only requirement is that you are a Lake Arrowhead resident or registered guest.
If you are new to Pickleball or want to play for fun and exercise, please join our Recreational Group. The intermediate and advanced groups are for experienced players who want to advance their skills to compete in leagues and/or tournaments.
We want everyone to enjoy Pickleball and understand that play on the LA courts is ‘’at your own risk.” Players should come in athletic attire, wear court shoes (pickleball or tennis shoes) and bring a PB paddle, sunglasses/protective eyewear, visors and/or hats. Players should be aware that like any sport, warming up, having the proper gear, bringing water, towels, and stretching afterwards are all important components of a successful, injury free experience.

Play year-round Mixed Doubles Tennis on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, weather permitting. 1:30pm during colder months (November through April) and 9:30am during the warmer months (May through October). Format: after 4 games, then teams rotate players. Otherwise ITF Rules of Tennis apply.
All players are welcome to join, level is approximately B5 ALTA and 3.0-3.5 USTA. Courts are reserved for this Doubles group during the times mentioned previously.
