● Discard the foam packing materials and uncover the printer from the plastic cover

● Next, remove all the protective tapes around and inside the printer.

● Plug the power cord into the rear of the printer and the other end into an electrical outlet.

● Hit the Power button to turn on the printer.

● Open the ink cartridge access cover and wait until the cartridge holder moves to the installation position.

● Now, unpack one of the ink cartridges from the package and remove the protective tape.

● Next, insert the ink cartridge into the respective slot. Make sure that the cartridge is installed correctly in its place.

● Follow these instructions to insert the remaining cartridge into the printer.

● Now, close the ink cartridge access cover.

● Lift the paper support on your printer and open the output paper tray.

● Adjust the paper width guide as far as possible and insert the sheets into the paper tray

● Slide the paper width guide to the edges of the stack. Do not load the paper above the load limit.

There is no big difference between the Canon PIXMA TS3122 and TR4522 printers except for their scanning feature. The Canon PIXMA TR4522 printer has ADF(Automatic Document Feeder), whereas the Canon PIXMA TS3122 printer does not support it.
