ABOUT HARBOR LIGHT CHRISTIAN SCHOOL Harbor Light Christian School (HLCS) was founded in 1985 as a nondenominational Christian School in Harbor Springs, MI. In FY 2020/2021, the school served 125 students and their families PreK through 12th grade. Over 20 area churches were represented at HLCS. The largest number of students were from Genesis, Harbor Light Community Chapel and Walloon Lake Community Church. Our faculty and teachers are loving, committed to, and invested in our students. They teach with a biblical foundation and pray with their classes. They give our students the opportunity to grow in wisdom in a safe Christ-centered environment. HLCS is governed by a school board comprised of six members from area churches. SCHOOL BOARD

The Solid Rock Center was unveiled in December 2019 during the Vision 2020 Gala, which kicked off the fundraising efforts for the project.
