About Hong Kong Momtrepreneurs 關於⾹港創業媽媽

Since its founding in 2018, Hong Kong Momtrepreneurs (HKM) has empowered mothers to continue their ventures through educating women on the life long skills of entrepreneurship, building a community to support mothers, providing mentorship to marginalized mothers and raising public awareness on policies related to female empowerment and family and empower mothers to continue pursuing their dreams. It has become a registered charitable organization (IR File No: 91/17697) since 2022
Through our mentorship, we support mothers in their entrepreneurial journey by building a community for networking, training and workshops. The Moms4Moms Fellowship Program is a female empowerment program that brings marginalized mothers from all walks of life hard and soft skills related to motherhood and entrepreneurship
We raise public awareness on policies related to female empowerment and family by working closely with the government, public sector, private sector and organising events around an annual theme. ⾃

The year 2024 has been a powerful testament to the theme we embraced: "Pivot Our Way to Success." We have witnessed incredible resilience and adaptability from our community of mothers, who have navigated personal and professional challenges with unwavering determination The successful graduation of our 2023/24 Moms4Moms fellows and the launch of our fifth cohort filled us with immense pride, showcasing the transformative impact of our programs.
Our flagship Mother's Day event embodied this spirit of pivoting, featuring inspiring stories from our fellows and a panel of remarkable women who shared their unique pathways to success. As we continued to strengthen our alumni network with workshops on digital marketing, legal essentials, and personal resilience, we saw our community grow more robust and interconnected.
We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support of our partners, mentors, and donors Your belief in our mission fuels our momentum as we continue to build an ecosystem where every mother is empowered to thrive, contribute, and inspire.

Throughout 2024, Hong Kong Momtrepreneurs fully embodied our theme "Pivot Our Way to Success" across all levels of our organization. For our mothers, this meant transforming challenges into opportunities - whether transitioning from full-time parenting to entrepreneurship, or rebuilding professional identities after career breaks. Our Moms4Moms Fellowship Program became a powerful vehicle for this transformation, moving beyond traditional business skills to emphasize adaptability and resilience. Through design thinking workshops and digital marketing training, we equipped mothers to navigate market changes and reinvent their career paths.
Organizationally, we practiced what we preached through strategic pivots in our partnerships and advocacy. Our collaboration with Share for Good and Manulife on the "Future Mumpowered" program created flexible work opportunities, while our signatory status to both the Racial Diversity & Inclusion Charter and Good Employer Charter 2024 demonstrated our commitment to reshaping workplace culture. The "Return to Workforce" workshops incorporated cutting-edge elements like AI interview preparation, ensuring our mothers could confidently re-enter an evolving job market. Each initiative represented our core belief that pivoting isn't just about survival - it's about thriving through thoughtful transformation and creating new pathways to success.
As we move into 2025, our commitment to empowering marginalized mothers remains steadfast. Building on the momentum of "Pivot Our Way to Success," we will focus on:
Deepening Alumni Engagement: We will expand our alumni support network with more advanced workshops, mentorship opportunities, and collaborative projects to ensure long-term success
Enhancing Program Curriculum: We will continue to integrate the latest trends, including AI and digital tools, into our Moms4Moms Fellowship to keep our fellows at the forefront of entrepreneurship
Strengthening Corporate Partnerships: We will actively seek new collaborations with corporations that share our values of diversity and inclusion, creating more pathways for our mothers to return to the workforce or scale their businesses
Advocating for Policy Change: We will continue to use our voice to raise public awareness and advocate for policies that support working mothers and family wellness in Hong Kong
