Admission by tickets only. Each ticket admits only one person. Unless the ticket lays down for free seating, audience members must take the allocated seats as printed on the tickets.

2. The venue management may exercise the right to refuse admission of latecomers and readmission of audience members who have left during a performance to decide when and how to admit/readmit them into the Theatre.

3. Audience members must switch off their mobile phones and any other sound and light emitting devices before entering the Theatre to avoid causing disturbance to the performers or other audience members.

4. Audience members are not allowed to conduct activities of photography, audio/video recording or broadcasting in the Theatre unless with prior permission given by the management staff.

5. Audience members are not allowed to bring into the Theatre any article that may disturb the performance or cause inconvenience to other audience members.

6. The venue management may exercise the right to refuse entry to anyone who is ineptly dressed.

Smoking, eating or drinking in the Theatre is prohibited.

今年仍沿着這條新創的道路，以中華文化中二十四節氣為主題，展現一台全新舞蹈節目《節韻流芳》。 香港舞蹈總會一向將培育年青舞蹈人才作為舞蹈藝術發展的重點之一。《節韻流芳》正是培育訓練 編舞者的一項重要成效展示活動，為「舞蹈教育提升計劃 – 編創傳承課程 2021-22」的學員提供創作 平台。我們亦以此台節目慶祝香港特別行政區成立 25 周年。 這個有意義的藝術傳承活動得以繼續開展，全賴各方面的大力支持。在此感謝《節韻流芳》創作過程 中首席編舞實踐課程的導師張建民教授和藝術統籌莊陳波老師，以及參與教授課程的各位老師。對 各團體參與創作的指導老師、編舞者和演員們一直以來對本會藝術發展工作的支持，本人表示敬意。 是次項目得到香港英國聖約翰爵士會贊助，香港演藝學院、北京舞蹈學院創意學院及香港舞蹈團允 諾擔任支持機構，以及香港藝術發展局配對資助計劃資助，謹此致謝。 祝《節韻流芳》演出成功﹗

With the aim of choreography inheritance, Hong Kong Dance Federation trained and nurtured a batch of young choreographers and hosted a performance Eternal Charms of the Silk Road in 2019.

In order to continue along this innovation path, Eternal Charms of the 24 Solar Terms , a brandnew programme with the theme of the 24 solar terms of China is staged this year. Cultivating young dancers has always been one of the key missions of Hong Kong Dance Federation. The programme serving as a showcase of dance pieces is an important activity for nurturing emerging choreographers that have joined the Dance Education Enhancement Scheme on Choreography Inheritance 2021-22. It is also presented in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

This meaningful art inheritance activity can be carried on because of all aspects of support. Special thanks must be given to Professor ZHANG Jianmin, the chief instructor teaching Choreography Practice, Mr CHONG Chan-po, the artistic co-ordinator, and all the course instructors. For the mentors, choreographers and dancers of all participating dance groups, I owe a debt of gratitude for their constant support for the art promotion of the Federation.

I, moreover, have to express my sincere thanks to Order of St John for sponsoring the programme, the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, the School of Creative Studies of Beijing Dance Academy and Hong Kong Dance Company for being supporting organizations, and HKADC for subsidy under the Matching Fund Scheme.

香港舞蹈總會在過去四十年，得到政府機構及社會熱心人士支持，透過匯演平台及各項活動支持民間 舞蹈發展，讓舞蹈老師們獲得發揮機會。可是，資源的緊絀亦限制了其發展規模和貢獻。因此，舞總在 2016年成立『香港舞蹈總會發展基金有限公司』(下稱『舞總基金』)，申請成為直屬香港舞蹈總會監管的 慈善組織。其發展目標是透過各項不同性質的舞蹈公益及教育活動，提升新一代舞蹈學員的文化素質 及對社會的承擔。主要的活動人士與香港舞蹈總會相同。 希望藉著這個慈善組織，能夠獲得更多熱愛舞蹈文化人士的捐獻，以期進一步支持和推動香港各類的 舞蹈教育活動、鋪設舞台的演創機會、對國內及海外的院校進行文化交流工作，惠及香港市民。

舞總基金於2019年成功舉辦了首屆「舞蹈教育提升計劃 — 編創傳承」 ，希望透過一系列的課程和演出活 動連結資深和新進編舞，讓資深導師總結經驗，帶領並培育有意在編導方向發展的年青人。計劃大獲好 評，參與的新進編舞獲益良多，其創編節目各有特色，成效可見。 舞總基金亦曾支持多個項目，包括：2017年『一帶一路敦煌文化藝術交流之旅』 、 《緣起敦煌》於本港及粵 港澳大灣區多次重演； 『世界舞蹈日』 、 『紫荊盃舞蹈大賽』 、 『香港街舞公開賽』等。近年更頒發多個獎學 金，鼓勵優秀舞者提升個人水平。

Over the past forty years, under the auspices of government departments and ardent donors, Hong Kong Dance Federation (HKDF) has supported community dance development by providing dance teachers with performance platforms and various activities for making full use of their potential.

But the tight resources have hampered its development and achievement, resulting in the need for inception of Hong Kong Dance Federation Development Fund Limited (HKDF Fund) in 2016. The HKDF Fund is directly monitored by the HKDF. It targets at enhancing new generation’s cultural qualities and social responsibilities through different kinds of charitable and educational activities in dance; and its major participants are in sync with those of the HKDF. It is the HKDF’s wish to obtain donations from dance lovers via this charitable organization and thereby further support and promote educational activities in dance, offer opportunities for stage performances and creations, and encourage cultural exchanges with the mainland and overseas academies, bringing benefits to Hong Kong citizens.

In 2019 the HKDF Fund launched a‘Dance Education Enhancement Scheme on Choreography Inheritance’successfully. It was the first time that the HKDF organized a course which brought experienced and emerging choreographers together by means of a series of lessons and a dance showcase so that experienced mentors could lead and nurture young dancers whose direction of development was choreography with their experiences. The scheme was highly acclaimed. The emerging choreographers learned a lot, and their creative works of individual characteristics demonstrated its effectiveness.

The HKDF Fund has supported events including‘One Belt One Road Dunhuang Cultural and Artistic Exchange’of 2017, the re-runs of Dunhuang Reflections in Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area,‘World Dance Day’,‘Bauhinia Cup Dance Championships’, and‘Hong Kong Street Dance Championships’. In recent years it has also awarded scholarships to outstanding dancers to encourage them to improve their personal levels.

香港舞蹈總會（下稱『舞總』 ）於1978年10月成立，並於2000年改為有限公司，是本港第一個非牟利多元 舞蹈社團。創會成員為舞蹈界舉足輕重的人士，包括：陳寶珠、黎海寧、劉兆銘、吳世勳、鄧孟妮、鄭亞清、 黃藝諳及郭世毅等。建會以來，一直以推動香港舞蹈發展為己任，積極保育、拓展本地的多元舞蹈文化。 現有團體會員254個、個人會員及會友超過4,400人。 舞總向來積極推廣舞蹈文化回饋社會，2018年獲社聯頒發《同心展關懷10+》獎勵。現為聯合國教育、科 學和文化組織轄下的國際舞蹈委員會(UNESCO-CID)會員及國際舞蹈組織(IDO)正式會員和香港地區代 表。

舞總除了『舞蹈教育培訓及考試』 、 『演出製作』 、 『外展活動』 、 『出版及委約』等多元工作外，也積極參與 社區活動，屢獲康文署的場地贊助和大型活動委約以及藝術發展局的經費資助。近年，舞總製作之大型 舞蹈詩《緣起敦煌》多次獲邀到北京參加國家級藝術節演出；2019年更獲粵港澳大灣區交流計劃支持， 前往中山文化藝術中心及廣州大劇院，參加大灣區文化交流演出；2021年亦獲康文署邀請於香港文化 中心大劇院作第九度公演，廣獲好評。 於2021年，透過舞總參與考試的學生及老師超過10,000人次，參與各製作演出的演員人數達4,000人 次，而觀眾數目更達40,000人次。在未來的日子，舞總將延續其建立舞蹈平台的角色，開發各式各樣惠及 不同需要人士的舞蹈課程；聯絡海內、外的舞蹈同業，提升整體藝術演出水平；並透過豐富的社區文藝 活動，積極履行社會責任，發揮舞蹈對人民生活的影響力，貢獻社會。 Hong Kong Dance Federation Limited (HKDF), established in October 1978 and changed to a limited company in 2000, is the first non-profit multifaceted dance organization in Hong Kong. All founder members were acclaimed personages in the dance society, including Pearl CHAN, Helen LAI, LAU Siu-ming, NG Sai-fun, Tania TANG and the late CHENG Ya-ching, WONG Ngai-yum and Stephen KWOK. It has always aimed at pushing forward Hong Kong’s dance development, actively preserving heritage and promoting local cultural diversity in dance. At present the HKDF boasts a total membership of 254 Group members and more than 4,400 Individual and Associate members.

In 2018 the HKDF was awarded the Caring Organization 10+ Logo in recognition of its active efforts in dance promotion and making contributions to the society. It is currently Member of the International Dance Council, an umbrella organization under UNESCO for all kinds of dance, and Member and HK Representative of the International Dance Organization.

Apart from the major work and services of ‘education and examinations’,‘productions’, ‘outreach activities’and publications and commissioned events’,the HKDF positively participates in community activities. It has obtained venue sponsorships and big commissioned projects from Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) and fund granting from Hong Kong Arts Development Council. The grand dance poem Dunhuang Reflections has been invited to perform at national art festivals in Beijing a number of times. Supported by the Greater Bay Area Exchange Scheme, the dance poem was staged at Zhongshan Culture & Art Center and Guangzhou Opera House for the cultural exchange of the Greater Bay Area in 2019. It was also invited by the LCSD in 2021 for the 8th re-run at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Grand Theatre and was very well received.

In 2021 over 10,000 students and teachers sat for dance examinations through the HKDF and 4,000 dancers were engaged in productions with an approximate audience of 40,000. In the future, the HKDF will continue to provide platforms for dance by opening various courses for people from all walks of life, to improve the overall artistic level of performance through liaison with dance practitioners from home and abroad, and to fulfill its social responsibilities by enriching community cultural activities and giving full play to the influence of dance on people’s lives.

計劃簡介 Introduction of the Scheme

Introduction of the Scheme

香港舞蹈總會發展基金有限公司 ( 下稱〝舞總基金〞) 於 2019 年成功舉辦首個「舞蹈教育提升計劃」進修平台 《編創傳承》。課程為香港新一代的年青編舞提供一系列的編導進修階梯和技術支援。在專家團隊的指導下， 12 位舞者獲支持編創個人作品，在香港演藝學院劇院由其所屬團體舞者演出《絲韻流芳》，成績斐然，得到界 內外和社會人士的認同。 汲取 2019 年的經驗，舞總基金開辦第二屆《編創傳承計劃》，調整課程內容，招募新一批年青新晉編舞參與， 透過一個完整的舞蹈編創學習過程，旨為香港培育更多編舞人才。

課程得到北京舞蹈學院創意學院編導系張建民教授的鼎力支持，擔任該課程首席導師。課程同時邀請了多位業 界資深舞蹈家和舞台藝術家擔任課程導師，為學員講解並分析不同舞種的編創特點。同時透過一系列課程，連 結資深和新晉舞者，讓資深導師總結經驗，輔導新晉舞者創作一台優秀的作品，讓學員的新思維可以在舞台上 展現。 2021 年 12 月課程開始不久，便迎來 " 疫情 " 這大困境，所有學校以及舞蹈處所須關閉，學員未能上課及排練。 但計劃未因此而停頓，大會將課堂改為線上進行，這對於舞總基金及學員都是一大挑戰，學員們需學習如何透 過鏡頭去排舞，去用語言表達自己的舞蹈想法等。另一方面，利用這個空窗期，學員能專注地為自己的舞蹈作 資料蒐集，自我深化課堂的知識，為自己編創的舞蹈打好良好的基礎。疫情帶來的阻礙，使學員另有一番新的 經歷和體驗。

2022 年的 4 月底，處所開放了，透過一系列與舞蹈編創相關的多元課程及排演活動，在資深導師指導及培育下， 聯合創作了這一台優秀的作品《節韻流芳》，以 24 節氣為主題，選取不同的節氣展開創作。相信有意在編導方 面發展的年青人，能夠吸收編舞經驗和不同領域的知識，擴闊視野。希望是次課程能提升並啟發學員的編創思 維，使她們於未來的編舞路途上可以學以致用，編創更多高水平的舞蹈節目。 Hong Kong Dance Federation Development Fund Limited (HKDF Fund) launched the first 'Dance Education Enhancement Scheme on Choreography Inheritance' successfully in 2019. The Scheme furnished the new generation of young choreographers with a series of ladders of advanced study and technical support on choreography. Under the guidance of the expert team, 12 dancers were supported to perform their choreographic works in the showcase Eternal Charms of the Silk Road at the HKAPA Drama Theatre with the dancers of their troupes. The performance was brilliant and received recognition from people in the dance field and society.

Gaining experience from 2019, the HKDF Fund organized the second 'Scheme on Choreography Inheritance', adjusting the contents of the course and recruiting a new batch of emerging choreographers, with the purpose of nurturing more choreographers in Hong Kong through a complete process of choreography learning.

Mr ZHANG Jianmin, Professor of the Department of Choreography of the School of Creative Studies of Beijing Dance Academy, strongly supported the course and served as the chief instructor. A number of experienced dance experts and stage artists were also invited to be course instructors to explain and analyze to participants the choreography features of different kinds of dance. A series of lessons, moreover, were planned to bring experienced and emerging dancers together so that mentoring teachers could share their experience with the emerging dancers and assist them to create remarkable dance works and display their new thoughts on the stage.

Shortly after the course started in December 2021, there came the plight of 'COVID-19 pandemic'. All the schools and dance premises had to be closed and the participants could not come for lessons and rehearsals.

The Scheme, however, did not come to a halt; all the lessons were carried out on the Net instead. It was really a big challenge not only for the HKDF Fund but also for the participants, who had to learn how to rehearse through the screen, to express their dance ideas with words, and so on. Nevertheless, during this window period, the participants could concentrate on gathering materials for their dances, deepen the knowledge they learned, and lay a good foundation for the works they created. The hindrance incurred did give a new experience to them.

In late April 2022, the premises reopened. By means of a series of varied lessons and rehearsals relating to choreography, with the advice and nurture of the experienced mentors, Eternal Charms of the 24 Solar Terms, a joint performance with different solar terms as the themes of creation was ready to be staged. It is believed that the young participants intending to develop their careers in choreography have absorbed experience in dance composition and knowledge of various domains as well as broadening their horizons. It is hoped that the course will inspire and enhance their innovative thinking and they can apply what they have learned to the creation of dance pieces of a high level along their choreographic path in future.

冼源 SIN Yuen 藝術總監 Artistic Director 香港每年的夏季，都是舞蹈繁花盛開的季節。2019 年《絲韻流芳》的編創過程仍在回憶時，以編創 傳承為宗旨全新的《節韻流芳》又將呈現給香港的觀眾。絲韻和節韻一字之差，確有着完全不同的 內涵和新的文化拓展。《節韻流芳》將中華文化中二十四節氣的風俗人情和自然境界，以各種不同 的聯想和角度展現對中華文明的深厚情懷。 《節韻流芳》仍本着編創傳承的要求，以一批年青而又有創作熱情和藝術追求的舞者為主力，編創 一台以二十四節氣為主題的舞蹈。通過編創傳承的實踐，培育新晉和有才情的編舞者，亦是發展舞 蹈事業中刻不容緩的需求。 祝願《節韻流芳》的編舞者和他們的作品，為香港的舞蹈創作帶來新的推動新的活力﹗

Every summer the dance scene of Hong Kong is in full bloom. While the creation process of Eternal Charms of the Silk Road of 2019 remains fresh in memory, the brand-new Eternal Charms of the 24 Solar Terms produced for choreography inheritance is to be staged. With a difference of only a single character, Charms of the 24 Solar Terms is completely distinct from Charms of the Silk Road in terms of connotation and new cultural development. It depicts the customs and nature realm of the solar terms of China through various associations and angles, well displaying the deep feelings for Chinese culture.

To nurture emerging talented choreographers through carrying out choreography inheritance is an urgent need for dance development. Eternal Charms of the 24 Solar Terms is a substantial dance performance with the theme of the Chinese solar terms which is in line with the purpose of choreography inheritance and presented by a group of young dancers with creative passion and artistic pursuit.

I hope the choreographers and the works of the performance will inject new impetus and fresh vitality into the creation of dance in Hong Kong.

張建民教授畢業於北京舞蹈學院首屆本科班，曾兩度赴美國休斯頓芭蕾舞團進修芭蕾編舞，師從美 國芭蕾舞大師本 - 史帝文森。現為北京舞蹈學院創意學院編導系教授。優秀作品涵蓋古今中外，榮獲 國家級獎項無數。其編著有《中國雙人舞編導教程》。張教授曾獲得國務院政府特殊津貼；於 1992 年來港擔任香港舞蹈總會精英舞蹈團舞劇『大話西遊』編導及演員；並為張藝謀電影『十面埋伏』 創作 " 長袖擊鼓舞 "，獲得國際電影界和舞蹈界的廣泛讚譽。

Prof. ZHANG, one of the first batch of Bachelor degree graduates of the Beijing Dance Academy (BDA), is currently Professor of the Department of Choreography at the School of Creative Studies of the BDA. He has furthered his studies in choreography twice at Houston Ballet in the States under the American ballet master Ben Stevenson OBE. His wide-ranged repertoire, covering themes ancient and modern, Chinese and Foreign, has received numerous national awards.

He is the author of Chinese "Pas de Deux" Choreography Course, and a recipient of the Special Government Allowances of the State Council. In 1992 Prof. ZHANG was the choreographer and dancer of the dance drama Western Pilgrimage for the Hong Kong Dance Federation Elite Dance Company. The Long-sleeved Drum Dance that he choreographed for ZHANG Yimou’s film House of Flying Daggers has also won him critical acclaim in the international film circle and dance field.

在網上給同學們做「線上編舞」教學，我找到幾個研究生和本科生（北京舞蹈學院創意學院編導系 的同學）在舞蹈課堂，面對著線下的同學，連線香港互動。一邊可以看到現場的教學情況，一邊我 又顧及線的對頭的授課目的對象。現場主要是再次闡明我的要求，不使同學疑惑；並在理論教授之前， 預先將要點傳輸教學助理轉發給同學，以便同學們對照關鍵文字，保證準確性；也為傳達編舞技術要 點服務，達到「功倍」之效果。行動與背景的相互貫通是編舞課的主要內涵，越是不能面對面講授的， 就越要評估同學自身預埋的舞蹈知識及人文內涵互通聯繫。就比如：借助一些經典的富於哲理的警 句名言，與編舞學理論相印證，來啟發同學，是為了讓同學們把編舞的執行力連貫到更深層次中去。 在現場教學中，從舞蹈編舞「句」、「段」和主題動作的提煉為原點，而對照「發展與變化繁衍」 確立一定的規則。由此連貫動作與思維之間的內在聯繫，同學們也受到了啓發並表現出一定的學習 效果，變通能力加強，從編舞的動作到預想的構思之間變得銜接順暢。 再上一期我授課時，就曾經提到那個班的授課，比我在給編導本科生低年級班授課時，情況有較大 的對比，編導系的同學在動作和想法之間有斷裂的現象，就是動作性強，往往一經有想法的出現， 所有「動感」則喪失，取而代之的是「啞劇」，變得舞和「劇」不對等。而在教授上一期同學的時 候，覺得同學們在舞蹈和涉及內容內涵方面，「文學內涵」的出現，往往能帶動舞蹈的提升，而非 割裂。這一期同學即使是在上網課，也沒有感到有什麼異樣。就是跟上一期同學一樣，依然體現出： 「在內容的傳達上、構思轉化上」依然保持著無縫銜接的特點。我考慮這波學生的排練對象是普通 學校的學生，他們的文化基礎是全面的，為了找尋與他們的溝通，同學們採取了相同的機制來對文 學的重視。而不像編導系的同學，覺得專業舞蹈規範，似乎成了文學的對立面，非得要進入舞蹈特 殊的層面才肯進行語義的表達。這樣往往失去了「質樸」的特性。而他們這波同學卻保持著「質樸」 的初心和接地氣，在舞蹈和立意之間找到了傳輸通道。因此，這次教學，同學們針對「農曆二十四 節氣」的選題各具特色又不同凡響，卻也能在有限的時間內排出較為複雜的舞作。這說明他們借助 了「思辨」與「悟達」的能量，從而促進了創作效能的發揮。相信他們能夠奉獻給觀眾精彩的舞作， 又期待他們的舞作完整呈現。 張建民 2022 年 7 月 8 日

Jottings after the Choreography Course

To conduct E-teaching on 'Choreography Online', I asked several postgraduates and undergraduates of the Choreography Faculty of the School of Creative Studies of Beijing Dance Academy to assist me to connect and interact with students in Hong Kong during their lessons.

While the students in Hong Kong could watch my on-the-spot teaching, I was able to take care of them at the other end. I mainly had to reiterate my requirements on the spot so that my target learners would not be puzzled. Also, before teaching the theories, I had to send the gists of choreography techniques to the teaching assistant to pass on to the students, making sure that they could refer to the accurate key words on hand and the transmission service of the gists would be 'double effective'. The major connotation of choreography lessons relies on the interconnection of action and background. The more impossibility of face-to-face teaching there is, the more assessments of connections between students' underlying dance knowledge and cultural connotations have to be made. For instance, in order to inspire the students to extend their execution power of choreography to a deeper level, I borrowed classic aphorisms and quotes to verify with choreography theories this time.

編舞課後的隨感

Before the Performance

Teaching on the spot, I used the refinement of 'phrase', 'verse' and movement theme as the origin of dance composition and set certain rules to juxtapose with 'development and unfolding change'. Because of cohering the internal relation between movement and thought, students were inspired and achieved certain learning outcome, their adaptability was enhanced, and their dance movements connected smoothly with their anticipated ideas.

Last time during my teaching, I did mention that there was a marked contrast between the class of Hong Kong students and my first-year undergraduate students of the Choreography Faculty.

My students' movements often parted from their thoughts. Their sense of movements was strong, but once their thoughts cropped up, all the 'movement sense' would be lost and 'pantomime' would take its place, resulting in the discordance between dance and 'mime'. When teaching the last batch of Hong Kong students, I found that regarding dance and content, the appearance of 'literary content' would often improve the quality of their dances instead of breaking dance from content. The students of this time, despite having lessons online, were more or less the same as the last batch. They could still retain the feaure of linking coherently in respect of ‘the conveyance of content and the transformation of conception'. I reckon that their target dancers might be ordinary school students who have comprehensive cultural foundation, and that to communicate with them, they adopted the same approach of placing a high value on literature.

They are different from my university students who think that the norm of being professional seems to be in opposition to literature and that only on entering a particular level of dance would they like to express the meanings of words, and as a result, they lose the characteristic of being 'rustic'. The students I taught this time could keep the original intention of being 'rustic' and down-to-earth; they could find the transmission channel which linked dance and intention together. The topics focusing on 'The 24 Solar Terms of the Chinese Calendar' they chose were unique and extraordinary, but they could still create comparatively complicated pieces in a limited time. This explains that they have made use of the power of 'critical thinking' and 'comprehensive understanding' to bring creative efficiency into play. I am convinced that they will display brilliant dance pieces to the audience, and I look forward to the complete presentation of their works.

莊陳波 CHONG Chan-po 藝術統籌、課程導師 Artistic Co-ordinator, Course Instructor

莊陳波先生畢業於香港演藝學院中國舞系後，加入香港舞蹈團並主演多部舞劇如《玉卿嫂》、《誘僧》 及《魚美人》等，期間兼任舞團訓練導師、排練助理及統籌。曾於香港演藝學院任教及作客席編舞。 現為城市當代舞蹈團舞蹈中心導師。 2008 年成立 La P en V 優之舞，為該團之藝術總監及編舞。於 2013 及 2015 年以新編現代中國舞《初 雪…赤心》及《夢雨》兩度榮獲在捷克帕爾杜比采舉行的國際爵士舞蹈節最高榮譽的「評委獎」及「觀 眾獎」。舞團亦曾獲香港藝術發展局資助參加 2015 首爾表演藝術博覽會及 2016 德國杜塞爾多夫舉 行的國際當代舞蹈博覽會 Internationale Tanzmesse NRW。 莊氏有多個出色的編創作品，包括《板畫．人生》，當中的舞段〈脈動〉於 2016 年獲 WHITE WAVE 邀請參加美國紐約 2016 Wave Rising Series 舞蹈節；以及《不死的祭禮》，於 2019 年獲邀參演第 十九屆相約北京藝術節，並於次年應邀參加賽馬會藝壇新勢力 2020/2021 之演出。

Mr CHONG graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), majoring in Chinese Dance. Upon graduation, he joined Hong Kong Dance Company and played major roles as lead dancer in various full-length dance drama productions, including Jade Love, Temptation of a Monk and Maid of the Sea. He also served as Training Master, Assistant Rehearsal Master and Co-ordinator. He has been a lecturer and guest choreographer at the HKAPA. He is currently dance instructor of City Contemporary Dance Company Dance Centre.

CHONG founded La P en V Innovative Dance Platform in 2008 and is the company's Artistic Director and Choreographer. His contemporary Chinese dances, Naked Soul (2013) and Illusions in the Rain (2015), have won the highest honour Jury Prize and Audience Prize in the International Festival Jazz Dance Open held in Pardubice, Czech Republic. La P en V was also supported by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council to participate in the PAMS 2015 in Seoul and the Internationale Tanzmesse NRW 2016 in Dusseldorf.

CHONG has a number of remarkable dance pieces, including Imprint of Life, the excerpt Pulse of which being invited to take part in the 2016 Wave Rising Series Dance Festival in New York, and Audelà du Temps presented in the 19th MEET IN BEIJING Arts Festival 2019 and JOCKEY CLUB New Arts Power 2020/2021.

從事舞台藝術製作多年，深深感受到團隊協作精神的重要性，每個環節都需安排得精密緊湊，環環 相扣，由詳細規劃流程、與各製作人員協商、整合靈感、到最後作品呈現於舞台上，當中需經歷多 次反覆修訂調整，令每個細節和所有元素有系統地在舞台上呈現。相信這些實戰經驗對今次作為藝 術統籌有深遠的意義。

「舞蹈編創傳承課程」在疫情期間進行，首席課程導師張建民教授的《編舞實踐課程》全部課堂以 視像形式進行。在有限的情況下，欣喜感受到學員更聚焦於每個理論實踐上，從討論作品構思、舞 台效果設計、音樂選材及服裝道具等，大家都一絲不苟地進行討論落實，令理論與實踐更透徹地相 配合，這亦是我們的目標和所期待的結果。 在腦海中一直徘徊的提問⋯⋯創作之路能走多遠？我期望看到更多的是衝破固有框架，繼續探索未 知的潛在可能，以革新思維尋找一個屬於自己的風格，讓這些珍貴的創編軌跡得以記錄及延續。祝 願大家能在浩瀚無際的藝海中盡情遨遊。

我非常榮幸獲香港舞蹈總會邀請擔任是次項目《節韻流芳》藝術統籌一職。這個項目不僅是一個以 創編為主的製作，而更重要的是以培育及傳承理念為核心價值，令香港新生代有機會藉着這個平台 展示才能，注入創編新動力，潤澤藝術創作之路，藉此貫徹並延續這份核心理念之傳承。

I am very honoured to be invited by Hong Kong Dance Federation to act as the artistic co-ordinator of Eternal Charms of the 24 Solar Terms. The project is not only a creation production, but it also provides a platform for the new generation to display their talents, to inject new energy into choreography and to decorate the path of artistic creation. Its core value on the concept of nurture and inheritance is of paramount importance.

Having been engaged in stage production for a good number of years, I deeply feel that team spirit is very important. Each aspect has to be well arranged and interlocked. From detailed process planning, negotiation with the production crew, inspiration integration, to the final presentation of works on stage, lots of iterative alterations and adjustments have to be made so as to ensure every detail and all elements can be displayed on the stage systematically. These practical experiences have profound significance for me being the artistic co-ordinator this time.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all the lessons of "Choreography Practice" of 'the Dance Education Enhancement Scheme on Choreography Inheritance 2021-22' were conducted on the Net by Professor ZHANG Jianmin, the chief instructor. Under limited circumstances, I was glad to see participants pay great attention to putting theory into practice. No matter it was discussion of plans of work, stage design, music selection, or costumes and props, the participants would discuss and decide meticulously. Better alignment of theory and practice, which is our objective and expected result, was hence produced.

The question: 'How far will the road of creation go?' keeps coming to my mind. I hope that all the participants will think outside the box, continue to explore the potential possibilities of the unknown and find their personal style through innovative thinking so that the precious tracks of creation may be recorded and carried on. I wish them all wonderful trips in the vast sea of arts!

韋柰 WEI Nai 課程導師 - 音樂與舞蹈 Course Instructor - Music and Dance

韋柰先生從小受到外公（著名紅學家俞平伯先生）及家庭薰陶，涉獵的藝術範疇廣泛，並 提煉對各門藝術之真知灼見及精闢見解。多年來從事鋼琴教育和藝術教育管理工作，並著 有多部文學作品，包括《布衣本色 ‧ 俞平伯身邊的人和事》、《我的外祖父俞平伯》、《舊 時月色：俞平伯身邊的人和事》等。韋氏是首屆中國舞「全國藝術院校桃李杯」舞蹈邀請 賽發起者之一，並擔任第一、二屆組委會主席；更曾獲頒文化部「桃李杯」終身成就獎。 他對於後輩的培育不遺餘力，為歷任北京舞蹈學院鋼琴教研室主任、北京舞蹈學院中國舞 / 中國民族舞劇系副主任，同時出任廈門演藝學院常務副院長，貢獻良多。現為香港藝術發 展局評審委員及香港舞蹈總會顧問。

Mr WEI has been engaged in piano education, arts education and arts management for many years. Being the grandson of the eminent writer YU Pingbo, he has written many literary works, including My Grandfather Yu Pingbo and Old Moon. WEI was one of the initiators of the first National Art Schools Tao Li Cup Dance Competition of Chinese dance and Chairman of the 1st and 2nd Organizing Committee, and has been granted the Tao Li Cup Lifetime Achievement Award by the Ministry of Culture. He has spared no effort in fostering younger generations and made great contribution to arts education. He has served as Head of the Piano Teaching and Research Section of Beijing Dance Academy (BDA), Deputy Head of the Department of Chinese Dance/Chinese Ethnic Dance Drama of the BDA, and Executive Associate Dean of The Xiamen Academy for Performing Arts.

At present WEI is Examiner of Hong Kong Arts Development Council and Advisor of Hong Kong Dance Federation.

陳基瓊 CHAN, Eve 課程導師 - 舞蹈編創及作品分析 Course Instructor - Choreography and Analysis of Works

陳基瓊女士目前是美國康涅狄格芭蕾舞團的排舞導師和常駐編舞家。她幼時隨吳湘霞老師 學習芭蕾舞。2001 年香港演藝學院畢業後，曾為香港芭蕾舞團領舞演員，並在古典和現代 劇目中擔任重要角色。2010 年，陳氏獲得香港賽馬會全額舞蹈獎學金前往紐約州立大學讀 取碩士學位，在那裡她教授專業芭蕾舞課程。陳氏在香港芭蕾舞團期間便開始了她的編舞 工作。2007 年，她被前藝術總監約翰·米漢任命為編舞實習生。她的委託作品包括為香港芭 蕾舞團、康涅狄格芭蕾舞團、米斯蒂克芭蕾舞團、紐約州立大學舞蹈學院和香港演藝舞蹈 學院的創作。現為香港演藝學院駐校藝術家。

Eve is currently the ballet mistress and resident choreographer with Connecticut Ballet, USA. She first studied ballet with NG Sheung-ha School of Ballet in HK. After graduating from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) in 2001, she performed with Hong Kong Ballet as Demi-soloist and took on multiple leading roles in the company’s classical and contemporary repertoires. In 2010, Eve received a full scholarship from Hong Kong Jockey Club to attend her Master's Degree at SUNY Purchase, where she taught ballet classes. Eve started her choreographic career while she was with the Hong Kong Ballet. In 2007, she was appointed as the choreographic apprentice by the former artistic director, John Meehan. Commissioned works include creations for Hong Kong Ballet, Connecticut Ballet, Mystic Ballet, Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase, and the HKAPA. Eve is currently an Artist in Residence at the HKAPA.

李峯 LEE, Bacchus 課程導師 - 佈景及服裝設計 Course Instructor - Set & Costume Design

李峯先生現為香港演藝學院舞台設計系副主任及高級講師 ( 設計 )。他的事業始於擔任亞洲 電視佈景設計師，後於 1994 年加入中英劇團成為駐團設計師。2003 年加入香港演藝學院 出任駐校藝術家一職，及後於 2005 年獲聘為舞台設計講師。李氏畢業於香港演藝學院，主 修佈景及服裝設計。並於英國倫敦藝術大學中央聖馬丁學院獲碩士，主修舞台美學；亦於 香港中文大學考獲視覺文化研究碩士。李氏一直活躍於業界，多年來與多個表演團體合作， 其中包括日本流山児事務所、香港芭蕾舞團、香港舞蹈團、中英劇團、香港舞蹈總會、香 港話劇團、澳門演藝學院、日本亜細亜の骨等。

Bacchus is the Deputy Head of Theatre Design and a Senior Lecturer in Design at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA). He began his career as a set designer for Asia Television Ltd. Afterwards, he joined the Chung Ying Theatre Company in 1994 as a resident designer. In 2003, he joined the HKAPA as an artist-in-residence, and in 2005, became a lecturer for the Design Department. Bacchus graduated in Theatre Set and Costume Design from the HKAPA; he is an MA in Scenography from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, and an MA in Visual Culture Study from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. To this day, Bacchus continues to work actively with various theatre companies, including Hong Kong Ballet, Hong Kong Dance Company, Chung Ying Theatre Company, Hong Kong Dance Federation (notably in the production As Time Goes By ), Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, Macao Conservatory, and Asian Rib in Japan.

黃狄文先生現任城市當代舞蹈團副藝術總監。他曾任亞洲電視節目主持及演員，及後 入讀香港演藝學院現代舞系。1996 年畢業後加入 CCDC 為舞者，2016 年擢升為副藝 術總監。2001 年及 2013 年分別憑《Plaza X 與異變街道》及《畸人說夢》的演出獲頒 香港舞蹈年獎「最值得表揚男舞蹈員」。黃氏為 00 合創辦成員之一，亦曾為 00 合、 霹靂啪勒身體劇場及東邊現代舞團編舞。2003 年於 CCDC《失驚無神夢驚魂》中發表 《男人炒飯》，其鬼馬抵死之風格大受好評，並獲邀於翌年首屆廣東現代舞週上演。 其眾多作品中《忽》及《別》首演後分別獲邀於第六屆及第九屆廣東現代舞週中上演。 《忽》及《下》分別於 2008 及 2009 年獲南華早報評選為「全年最佳舞蹈」；《拼途》 獲香港舞蹈年獎 2017「傑出中型場地舞蹈製作」獎。

黃狄文 WONG, Dominic 課程導師 - 舞蹈編創及作品分析 Course Instructor - Choreography and Analysis of Works

Dominic is the Associate Artistic Director of City Contemporary Dance Company (CCDC).

He was a TV artist for Asia Television Company from 1990 to 1992. He then studied modern dance at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and joined CCDC upon his graduation in 1996. He was promoted as Associate Artistic Director in 2016. He received 2001 and 2013 Hong Kong Dance Awards "Outstanding Performance by a Male Dancer" for his performance in Plaza X and The Comedy of K respectively. He is a founding member of the Zero Zero Ensemble. Dominic's choreographic work Men's Chop Suey (All of A Sudden, 2003) was invited to rerun in the 1st Guangdong Modern Dance Festival. He also choreographed widely for other dance companies including Zero Zero Ensemble, BiLiBaLa Physical Theatre and E-Side Modern Dance Company. Of the numerous pieces he created Xtremely Four Seasons and Blind Chance were invited to rerun in the 6th and 9th Guangdong Modern Dance Festival. Xtremely Four Seasons and What's Next? were both hailed by South China Morning Post as one of the "Best Dances" in 2008 and 2009 respectively. Travelogue was awarded the Outstanding Medium Venue Production at the 19th Hong Kong Dance Awards.

楊雲濤 YANG Yuntao 課程導師 - 舞蹈編創及作品分析 Course Instructor - Choreography and Analysis of Works

楊雲濤先生現為香港舞蹈團藝術總監。畢業於中央民族大學舞蹈系，亦曾任廣東現代舞團、 北京現代舞團舞蹈員。2002 年加入香港舞蹈團，擔任首席舞蹈員，並憑舞劇《水滸傳》及《大 地之歌》於 2003 年獲「香港舞蹈聯盟舞蹈年獎」。2005 年加入城市當代舞蹈團，2006 年 憑該團節目《霸王》之演出再獲「香港舞蹈聯盟舞蹈年獎」。於 2007 年 11 月出任香港舞 蹈團助理藝術總監一職。2010 年獲香港藝術發展局頒發「2009 香港藝術發展獎年度最佳藝 術家獎 ( 舞蹈 )」。

Mr YANG is Artistic Director of Hong Kong Dance Company. After graduating from the Dance Department of the Central Ethnic University, he has been a soloist in the Guangdong Modern Dance Company and the Beijing Modern Dance Company. He joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in 2002 as Principal Dancer, and received the Hong Kong Dance Awards 2003 from the Hong Kong Dance Alliance for his performance in Water Margin and The Song of the Earth . YANG joined City Contemporary Dance Company in 2005, and received the Hong Kong Dance Awards 2006 again for his performance in The Conqueror. He joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in November 2007 as the Assistant Artistic Director. He received the Award for “Best Artist (Dance)”of the Hong Kong Arts Development Awards 2009 from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council.

成博民 SHING Pok-man 課程導師 - 舞台新科技 Course Instructor - Stage New Technology

成博民先生畢業於香港中文大學新聞與傳播學院，並為眾聲喧嘩創團成員。現為影像設計 師及影像導演。曾合作藝團包括香港舞蹈總會、香港舞蹈團、香港芭蕾舞蹈團、進念． 二十面體、香港話劇團、香港藝術節、無極樂團及前進進戲劇工作坊等。成氏近年成立多 媒體工作室「春秋大夢 Daaimung」，連結跨界創作。曾參與多個演唱會及主題公園之影像 設計。

Mr SHING graduated from School of Journalism and Communication at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and is a self-taught media artist. SHING has worked with many companies and organisations on different video projects. He has been involved in many theatre productions, concerts, live performances, theme parks video visuals, etc. He has collaborated with Hong Kong Dance Federation, Hong Kong Dance Company, Hong Kong Ballet, Zuni Icosahedron, Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, Hong Kong Arts Festival, Wuji Ensemble, and On and On Theatre Studio. SHING is also the founder and creative director of the multimedia group Daaimung, one of the few Hong Kong-based creative studios covering a broad spectrum of interactive media and video production services -including projection mapping, motion graphics, video projections for concerts and live events, production for film and TV, and more.

陳佩儀女士畢業於香港演藝學院舞台及製作藝術學院，主修舞台燈光設計。畢業後參與不 同製作，包括香港舞蹈總會《緣起敦煌》、《香港舞蹈博覽》、《紫荊盃舞蹈大賽》，亦 隨 T & Y 創作坊、La P en V 優之舞、錢秀蓮舞蹈團、JAY Dance Company 往多國參加比賽 和表演。除舞蹈外，其他專業製作包括桃花源粵劇工作舍製作《帝女花》和《拜將臺》； 澳門特別行政區成立十五周年學界大匯演；明日藝術教育機構《夢想號出發！》、《銀河 列車》及《紅髮小女孩》；7A 班戲劇組《失戀，我們分手吧！》等。在 2009-2010 年參與 澳門新濠天地《水舞間》的前期工作。現為香港演藝學院晚間課程講師。 Claudia graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), majoring in Theatre Lighting Design. Since then, she has been engaged in various productions including Dunhuang Reflections , Hong Kong Dance Expo and Bauhinia Cup Dance Championships presented by Hong Kong Dance Federation. Also, she toured widely with many dance groups, including T&Y Creative Arts, La P en V, Miranda Chin Dance Company, and JAY Dance Company. Apart from dance productions, her other involvements include Butterflies-Lik-sang Jong’s Librettos Canto Opera Concert of Utopia Cantonese Opera Workshop, schools dance gala to celebrate Macau SAR 15th Anniversary, Galaxy Express and Little Redhead of MingRi Institute of Arts Education, Love to Forget Rerun of Class 7A Drama Group. Between 2009 and 2010, she had participated in the Macau’s City of Dream production The House of the Dancing Water. She is currently a Part-time (Evening) Lecturer at the HKAPA.

林希晴 LAM Hei-ching 音樂創作及統籌 Composer & Music Co-ordinator

林希晴女士在香港出生及成長。她在蘇格蘭和愛沙尼亞進修音樂。她視即興為她主要的藝 術表達形式。 A musician born and raised in Hong Kong, Ms LAM has furthered her musical training in Scotland and Estonia. She regards improvisation as her primary artistic expression.

正值穀雨時節，採茶女和同伴結伴上山採摘春茶。他們在勞作期間看著欣欣向榮的茶葉被一一採摘， 不禁感同身受，懷著些許疼惜的心情與茶葉翩翩起舞。直到品嘗到親手採摘的茶葉製成的茶，茶葉 的清香才讓少年們得以釋懷。 During the Grain Rain season, tea pickers go up to the mountains blissfully to pick tea leaves.

Watching those emerald green leaves plucked, they feel pity towards the leaves and dance with a bit of sympathy. But when they taste the freshness of the hand-picked tea leaves, the fragrance of the tea relieves them of their worries.

春臨大地 The Arrival of Spring

在春分日，捷克少女將代表冬季女神的稻草人追趕至河邊，掉進河裏，以送走寒冬、迎來春天，為 村莊帶回祝福。春光明媚，大夥兒忙碌地耕種，快樂地起舞，慶祝春天到來，生機再現。 On the Spring Equinox, a group of Czech girls chase Morana, the goddess of winter and death, to the riverside and throw it into the river to bid farewell to winter and welcome spring and to gather blessings for their village. In the spring sunshine, everyone works hard in the field and dances happily, celebrating the coming of spring and the rebirth of nature.

小．人 Humanity

相傳驚蟄時，一聲雷聲喚醒所有冬眠中的蟲獸。所以古時驚蟄當日，人們會手持清香熏家中四角以香 味驅趕蟲獸。而在廣東及香港地區卻演變成不順心者拍打對頭人和驅趕霉運的習慣，亦即「打小人」。 「打小人」時，婦人一邊用鞋拍打紙公仔，一邊口中唸唸有詞：「打你個小人頭，打到你有氣冇掟抖； 打你個小人口，打到你食親嘢都嘔」的咒語。這個特殊活動反映了社會中人與人之間的微妙關係。 During the solar term Awakening of Insects, the thunderclap wakes up all insects and animals in hibernation. Therefore, in ancient times, people would smoke the four corners of their homes with incense sticks to drive away the insects and animals. In Guangdong and Hong Kong, it has evolved into a custom of hitting opponents in order to drive away their luck, that is, "villain hitting". "Hit your villain head, very soon you'll have no breath; hit your villain mouth, whatever you eat will be spat out" is an example of the mantra of villain hitting. This special activity reflects the subtle relationship between people in society.

祈．雨 Godsent Rain on Snow

雨水到來前，在青藏高原上，寒風凜冽，湖泊冰封雪蓋，女孩們無法領受聖水，只能瑟縮一角，互 相依偎取暖。 她們仰望雪山，日夜誠心祈求，最終感動上天，溶化冰封的大地。 萬物回復生機，女孩們紛紛起舞，迎接從天而降的聖水！ Before the rain came on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the cold wind was blowing, and the lakes were covered with ice and snow. Desperate in seeking the holy water, the girls huddled in the corner and leaned on each other to keep warm.

They looked up at the snow-capped mountains and prayed sincerely under the stars and sun. God was touched by their sincerity -- the ice melted, and the frozen plateau came back to life.

To celebrate the arrival of the holy water, the girls gave a warm welcome dance on the dynamic plateau.

我和風之間 Between Wind and Me

秋風捲起了人的思念和遺憾，卻又安撫了不安和執着。金氣秋分，我站在林蔭大道上，回想著過去 又暢想著將來，而風卻讓我用心感受當下。 「風起了，唯有努力活下去。」 Cold breeze in fall gives rise to yearning and sorrow while comforting tension and obsession.

Roaming between the trees, I let my mind travel across the past and future as the tender breeze grinds me in the present gently.

‘When the wind is rising, it is time to struggle for life.’

花之祭 Le Rite de Fleurs

Programme

送花神，選材自【紅樓夢】中的情節。 芒種過後，園中百花冷落，果實始成。女孩們在芒種日齊集舉行祭祀儀式，為花神餞行，充滿歡欣。 她們藉此感激花神給人間景色帶來的美麗和呵護，同時也祈盼來年仍能百花盛放，與花神相會。 A folk tale from the novel "Dream of the Red Chamber" Entering the Grain in Ear, flowers wither and fruits begin to ripen.

Girls gather to worship the "Goddess of Flowers". They take this special day to bid farewell and express their gratitude to the goddess for bringing them happiness.

Flowers too wither and fall, but they inspire one and all.

彝焰 Flames (Yi Tribe Dance)

大雨時行，濕熱交蒸。涼山彝族少女盛裝打扮，姿態柔美，準備入夜後的火把節之夜。夜幕降臨， 火堆烈焰熊熊，彝族人盡情歌舞狂歡，祝祈五穀豐收。 "The Great Heat" comes with thunderstorms and rain, but also moisture favourable to the buckwheat crops in the Liang Mountains in Sichuan. The season is also an annual occasion for the Yi Tribe and the girls dress up lavishly for celebration. The Bonfire Night marks the climax with singing and dancing for a fruitful harvest to come.

雪孤行 Sword Snow Trudge

小寒大寒，無風也寒。孤身走過白茫茫的雪地，路途中迷失、徘徊、掙扎。你會選擇屈服於寒風暴 雪下，還是靜候暖陽的到來？ While walking through the slushy grey road of snow, wandering and lost, will you be willing to await the warmth of the sun, or succumb to the shrivelling coldness of the wintry blizzard?

尋光 In Search of Light

冬至之時，白晝轉瞬即逝，黑夜卻尤其漫長，然而一個循環的完結，又是另一個循環的開始。走到 黑暗紛亂的盡頭，讓那無休止的心跳聲靜靜引路，從疫症蔓延的困境裡重新尋找光與希望的起點。 During the winter solstice, the sun sets early and the night seems to stay longer than usual. A cycle ends while another one begins – as darkness and chaos fade away, let the beating of our heart guide us to the rediscovery of light and hope amid the challenging pandemic.

畢業於聖公會莫壽增會督中學，及後就讀於四川藝術職業學院。在學期間獲南 華早報學生年度選舉為最佳舞蹈員並代表院校到瀋陽參加第九屆桃李杯比賽， 獲群舞表演三等獎。2012 年 4 月加入香港舞蹈團；2019 年獲香港賽馬會音樂 及舞蹈信託基金頒發全額獎學金，修讀英國北方現代舞學院的舞蹈及創意企業 碩士學位課程。現正構思製作不同的舞蹈教育項目，包括《藝術教育推廣篇之 舞 ‧ 尋萬象》。 A graduate of SKH Bishop Mok Sau Tseng Secondary School, Geraldine studied at Sichuan Vocational College of Art. During her academic years, she received the South China Morning Post Best Student Dancer Award, and participated in the 9th Taoli Cup Dance Competition held in Shenyang, winning the third prize in the ensemble category. KWONG joined Hong Kong Dance Company in April 2012 and was awarded a full scholarship by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund in 2019 to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Dance and Creative Enterprise at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in the UK. She has produced educational programmes and recently created the “Arts Education Promotion Series -- Move Within and Without".

聖公會莫壽增會督中學校友會成員，目前在香港演藝學院修讀舞 蹈藝術學士課程。彩文自幼開始學習中國舞並堅定了往舞蹈方面 發展的決心。在中學階段參加了很多不同類型的比賽、表演以及 活動，累積了很多演出經驗。 Choi-man is a member of SKH Bishop Mok Sau Tseng Secondary School Alumni Association and a freshman studying BFA Degree 1 at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. She has learnt Chinese Dance since she was young and has persisted in her dream of pursuing the art of Chinese Dance with staunch determination. Over the past six years in secondary school, as a member of the school dance team, she has gained experience by participating in diverse activities, competitions and performances.

王佳宜 WONG Kai-yi 編舞 Choreographer

聖公會莫壽增會督中學校友會成員，現就讀 於香港都會大學動畫及視覺特效系一年級。 佳宜自幼學習中國舞，在中學時加入聖公會 莫壽增會督中學的舞蹈組，接觸了東方舞及 西方舞，獲得許多比賽及表演的機會。 Kai-yi is a member of SKH Bishop Mok Sau Tseng Secondar y School Alumni Association and a freshman studying Animation & Visual Effects at the Metropolitan University. Ever since she was young, she has strived to cultivate her interest in Chinese Dance. As a member of the secondary school dance team, she gained an insight in Oriental as well as Western Dance. She won various honours awards at the School Dance Festival and in different competitions.

馮老師是西方民族舞教師、英國利物浦大學教育榮譽學士 ( 主修舞蹈 )、英國皇 家舞蹈教師協會註冊教師及蓓蕾舞蹈社資深社員，也是香港城市大學翻譯及傳 譯文學碩士。她曾出任教育署中學生舞蹈訓練計劃導師、第五十屆學校舞蹈節 金禧慶典西方舞編舞及蓓蕾青年舞蹈訓練計劃導師。2014 年獲秘魯駐香港及澳 門總領事館頒發「卓越獎」，表揚其在學校推廣傳統秘魯舞蹈。現為香港舞蹈 總會執行委員會委員及香港學校舞蹈節和分區舞蹈比賽評判。 Ms FUNG is an experienced western folk dance teacher, Bachelor of Education with Honours of University of Liverpool majoring in dance, a registered national dance teacher of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and a senior member of Budlet Folk Dance Club. She is also Master in Translation and Interpretation of City University of Hong Kong. She has been tutor of the Secondary School Students' Dance Scheme organized by the Education Department, choreographer of western dance at the 50th Schools Dance Festival Golden Jubilee Celebration Performance, and instructor of the Youth Training Scheme of the Budlet. In 2014 Ms FUNG was granted the Excellence Award from the General Consulate of Peru in Hong Kong in recognition of her promotion of traditional Peruvian dance in schools of Hong Kong. At present she is Executive Committee Member of Hong Kong Dance Federation and Adjudicator in Schools Dance Festivals and dance competitions of various districts in Hong Kong.

何思慧 HO Sze-wai, Karen 編舞 Choreographer

中學開始接受土風舞訓練。2008 年考獲英國 皇家舞蹈教師協會民族舞準教師資格。1998 年加入蓓蕾舞蹈社，曾出任服裝主任和「中 小學土風舞推廣活動」助教，現為社內秘書。 2018 及 2020 年擔任「世界舞蹈日」百人舞排 練助教。 Karen started folk dance training when she was in secondary school. She became an Associate of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (National) in 2008. Since joining Budlet Folk Dance Club in 1998, she has been costume supervisor, assistant instructor of the Folk Dance Promotion Programme for Primary and Secondary Schools, and secretary. She was also assistant rehearsal mistress for the 100-Dancer Presentation of the World Dance Day 2018 and 2020.

李麗明 LEE, Gloria 編舞 Choreographer

自幼學習芭蕾舞和中國舞。2021 年考獲英國皇家舞蹈教師協會民族舞準教師資格。曾於台灣多個民俗 舞蹈社擔任助教及導師，並於 2019 年出任「世界舞蹈日」百人舞排練助教。目前是蓓蕾舞蹈社秘書 和「土風舞基本步班」小組導師。 Gloria learned ballet and Chinese dance since early age. She became an Associate of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (National) in 2021. She was assistant instructor and tutor for several folk dance groups while in Taiwan and was an assistant rehearsal mistress for the 100-Dancer Presentation of the World Dance Day 2019 in Hong Kong. At present she is secretary and group tutor of the programme of Basic Steps in Folk Dance of Budlet Folk Dance Club.

現任香港舞蹈總會董事、屯門文藝協進會舞蹈藝術發展委員會主席兼藝術總監、 香港新界舞蹈團主席兼藝術總監、屯門舞蹈團及元朗舞蹈團藝術總監及舞蹈編 導、藝術發展局審批員、學校舞蹈節及各區舞蹈比賽評判。 劉老師的作品曾多次於公開比賽中獲獎，他本人亦獲不同團體致敬：2005 傑出 藝術家獎《舞蹈》( 屯門區議會 )、兒童歌舞園丁獎 ( 中國兒童歌舞學會 )、舞蹈 藝術家成就獎 ( 香港舞蹈聯會 )，亦於 2018 年獲香港舞蹈總會頒發舞蹈藝術家 終身成就獎。 Mr LAU is Director of Hong Kong Dance Federation, Chairman and Artistic Director of the Dance Arts Development Committee of Tuen Mun Arts and Culture Association, Chairman and Artistic Director of Hong Kong New Territories Dancing Group, Artistic Director and Choreographer of Tuen Mun Dancing Group and Yuen Long Dancing Group, Examiner of the HKADC, and Adjudicator of the Schools Dance Festival and various dance competitions.

He has created many dance dramas and won many awards. He has also been honoured by various dance and arts groups.

2011 年畢業於北京舞蹈學院，主修中國民族民間舞 ( 表演及教育專業 )，在校期 間共獲得五個獎學金及被推薦為優秀華僑青年學生。鎧汶的編舞作品曾獲得學 校舞蹈節最佳編舞獎及優等獎、紫荊盃舞蹈大賽公開組優異獎、全港公開舞蹈 比賽金獎及最佳表演獎等。 June graduated from Beijing Dance Academy with a bachelor's degree in Chinese Folk Dance Performance and Education in 2011. She also got the scholarship for 3 consecutive years when she studied in Beijing. She is now a freelance dancer, dance teacher, and choreographer in Hong Kong.

梁老師自幼接受中國舞蹈及體操訓練，演出經驗豐富，不時到中國著名舞蹈學 府 – 北京舞蹈學院進修。於二零一一年從澳洲阿德雷德大學畢業回港後，隨即 加入苗徽舞集擔任兒童中國舞班導師。現為苗徽舞集主席，期望將中國舞蹈文 化宣揚海外。 Yoyo LEUNG started her Chinese dance and gymnastics training from a young age. She has very extensive experience in performances and has regular training at the famous Beijing Dance Academy. After graduating from the University of Adelaide in 2011, she joined The Sprout as the instructor of Children's Chinese Dance programme. Being the current chairperson of The Sprout, she is planning to promote Chinese dance culture all over the globe in the future.

張嘉雯 CHEUNG Ka-man 編舞 Choreographer

裴長青 PEI, Changqing 指導老師 Mentor

裴老師是北京舞蹈學院學士、香港理工大學中國文化碩士。自 2003 年起為香港 演藝學院中國舞系全職講師。2018-2019 年赴美國俄亥俄大學作訪問學者，擔 任藝術學院舞蹈系客席駐院藝術家。任職甘肅省歌舞團期間，在大型舞劇《絲 路花雨》和《箜篌引》擔綱主演。曾為香港演藝學院和其它機構創編多個舞蹈 作品，包括：《字正腔圓》、《風泉天》、《此時無聲》、《琵琶聲停》。 2019 年為美國俄亥俄大學第九屆國際音樂舞蹈節創作《琵琶》，引起轟動，獲 得好評。 Ms PEI, Bachelor of Beijing Dance Academy and Master of Arts in Chinese Culture of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, has been a full-time lecturer of Chinese Dance at the HKAPA since 2003. In 2018/19 she was the visiting scholar at Ohio University, USA and taught in the School of Dance of College of Fine Arts as Artist-in-residence. Ms PEI was the lead dancer of dance dramas The Silk Road & Flower Rain and Overture of Kong Hou when she performed for the Gansu Provincial Song and Dance Theatre. Her choreographies include Precisely Accuracy (2004), Wind Spring Sky (2006), Moment of Silence (2017), When the Pipa Stops (2018) for the HKAPA, and Pipa (2019) for Ohio University.

鄭穎欣 CHENG Wing-Yan 編舞 Choreographer

穎欣畢業於香港演藝學院舞蹈系，主修中國 舞。曾代表學院到北京大學交流。畢業後曾任 香港舞蹈團兒童及少年團訓練導師，其後赴敦 煌及蘭州作舞蹈采風研究，並錄影香港電台節 目《采風》。現活躍於各藝團，擔任編舞及形 體設計，近年曾合作團體包括：青劇團、千載 一念、樂心中樂團等。 Wing-yan obtained the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) majoring in Chinese Dance from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. She was representative of the HKAPA for an exchange programme with Peking University. She has been the professional trainer of the Children’s and Youth Troupes of Hong Kong Dance Company and has participated in ethnic and tribal tradition research in Dunhuang and Lanzhou for the recording of Windtakers , a documentary series of the RTHK. Currently she is an active choreographer in various arts groups.

資深芭蕾舞蹈教育家及排練指導，現任 VCI 舞團藝術總監、香港舞蹈總會執行 委員會副主席、澳洲聯邦舞蹈教師協會考官、毛妹芭蕾舞學校校長、香港藝術 發展局審批員、IDO 國際舞蹈組織及本地評判、中國舞蹈家協會及 CID 國際舞 蹈委員會會員。於香港芭蕾舞學院受訓練期間，考獲香港賽馬會音樂及舞蹈信 託基金獎學金。她也是 RAD-CBTS 及 CSTD 教師輔導講師、香港專業教育學院 ( 沙 田 ) 兒童藝術教育專業證書 - 幼兒舞蹈教育訓練客席講師。 Senior ballet dance educator and rehearsal instructor, Violet is now the Artistic Director of VCI, Vice Chairperson of the Executive Committee of Hong Kong Dance Federation, Examiner of CSTD (Australia), Examiner of HKADC, Principal of Christine Liao School of Ballet, Adjudicator of The International Dance Organization (IDO), a member of China Dancers Association and The International Dance Council CID, UNESCO. 封雅瀠 FUNG Nga-ying, Kelsey 編舞 Choreographer

雅瀠自小喜愛芭蕾舞藝術，隨吳雪梅老師習舞多年，持英 國皇家芭蕾舞學院 8 級及專業高級証書、澳洲聯邦舞蹈教 師協會芭蕾舞專業及 ETA 教師証書。雅瀠畢業於英國東英 吉利大學 ( 媒體及國際發展學士學位 )，並參與大學舞蹈演 出及代表比賽。在 IDO 國際舞蹈 比賽、袋鼠盃、全港公開舞蹈比賽 等比賽皆獲得金獎的佳績。現於小學 擔任興趣班導師。 Coached by Ms Violet NG from a young age, Kelsey has obtained the qualification of ETA and Elementary from CSTD, and Grade 8 and Advanced 1 from RAD. A graduate of the University of East Anglia with a bachelor's degree in Media and International Development, she was part of competition teams representing her university. Kelsey has participated in different competitions and was awarded at IDO-Korean Grand Prix, Kangaroo Cup and The Open Dance Contest. Currently she is a dance tutor teaching in primary schools.

She has participated in a number of performances. She has entered various dance competitions and taken dance examinations. In 2019 she was awarded the 2nd runner-up modern solo at the IDO-Korea Grand Prix. She is currently working as a dance instructor and freelance dancer.

香港舞蹈總會執行委員會前主席、現任董事及教育總監、香港紫荊花舞蹈團團 長、香港中西區兒童舞蹈團團長、北京舞蹈學院中國舞等級考試課程（香港） 委員會委員、香港學校舞蹈節及各區舞蹈比賽評判、IDO 國際舞蹈組織國際評 判。陸老師醉心舞蹈教育工作，致力培育新一代舞者，更將舞蹈外展至社區， 讓更多人愛上舞蹈藝術。 Former Chairperson, Ms LUK is currently Board Director and Education Director of Hong Kong Dance Federation, Director of Hong Kong Bauhinia Dance Association, Director of Central and Western District Children Dancing Troupe, and Adjudicator of the Hong Kong Schools Dance Festival and dance competitions and judge of International Dance Organization. 劍橋大學哲學碩士，現為英國皇家建築師學會特許會員。自小熱愛藝術， 考獲北京舞蹈學院中國舞等級考試 13 級。於赴英就學及工作時是劍橋大 學東方舞蹈團的成員和編導，節目連續三年獲邀於市政音樂廳舉行的 < 劍 橋春晚 > 盛事中亮相。除舞蹈外，蘊純亦自小習畫，於中國書法家協會修 畢楷書和行書證書，亦取得中央音樂學院和上海音樂學院琵琶證書。 Stephanie enjoys various kinds of arts and has attained Grade 13 of the Chinese Dance Graded Examination Syllabus of Beijing Dance Academy.

She participated in the Cambridge Chinese New Year's Gala as both a dancer and choreographer in 2019, 2020 and 2022. Other than dance, she is also a Chinese calligrapher, painter and Pipa soloist. Stephanie received her MPhil from the University of Cambridge and is a Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects.

凱儀是香港紫荊花舞蹈團首席舞者、香港中西區文化藝術協會榮譽會長兼 藝術發展部副會長。從少熱愛藝術，醉心舞蹈。讀書時曾被南華早報選 為香港傑出學生 - 舞蹈年獎第二名，也曾代表香港宋慶齡兒童基金會到 北京中央電視台表演傣族獨舞，並擔任精英舞蹈團所舉辦，由中國著 名舞蹈家及導演陳維亞編導的香港大型舞劇《龍的故事》女主角。 近年參與演出有《緣起敦煌 - 大型舞蹈詩》領舞、在北京舉辦的 < 第五屆全國少數民族文藝會演 > 和 < 相約北京 >、香港舞蹈團 《劉三姐》特約演員等。 Kay started dancing at a young age and was selected the 1st runner-up Student Dancer of the Year in Hong Kong. She represented Hong Kong to perform a solo folk dance on China Central Television (CCTV) in Beijing. She also took the principal role in The Story of Dragon -- a large-scale dance production directed by Mr CHEN Weiya, one of the world’s most respected Chinese choreographers and directors. In recent years, Kay has participated in various performances, such as Dunhuang Reflections as a leading dancer, The Fifth National Minorities Art Festival and Meet in Beijing Art Festival, also the dance drama Liu Sanjie by Hong Kong Dance Company.

Mentor & Choreographer Biography

現任香港舞蹈總會執行委員會副主席，香港藝術發展局審批員。從事舞蹈教學 40 餘年，先後創辦了儂情舞集、韵情舞坊及韵情舞集。多年來帶領學生參與不 同舞蹈比賽，屢獲佳績；亦曾任多屆《全港公開舞蹈比賽》及《學校舞蹈比賽》 評判。 May is currently Vice Chairperson of the Hong Kong Dance Federation Executive Committee and Examiner of HKADC. She has been a dance teacher for more than 40 years and has set up Forever Dance Troupe, Kidance and Kidance Troupe. Her works have won a lot of awards in various dance competitions and she has been an adjudicator for the Open Dance Contest and Schools Dance Festival for many years.

李苡淇 LEE Yee-ki 編舞 Choreographer

苡淇畢業於香港演藝學院，並獲舞蹈藝術榮譽學士學 位。她自小在韵情舞坊習舞，其後參與了香港演藝學 院青年精英舞蹈課程，獲得獎學金及最佳表現獎。在 校期間曾多次參與校內及校外演出，如：《黃土 . 黃 河》、《鼓 . 道 . 行》、澳門國際青年舞蹈節 2019。 畢業後為自由身舞蹈員及舞蹈導師，教授中國舞、現 代舞等，亦參與了香港舞蹈團外展及教育部一連串的 舞蹈教育工作坊。 Yee-ki graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) degree majoring in Chinese Dance. She started her Chinese dance training with Ms LEUNG Ki-fun in Kidance, joining various competitions including the Bauhinia Cup with outstanding results. She was also an HKAPA GYDP graduate and has been awarded best performance awards and dance scholarships. During her study in the HKAPA, she joined various performances including the International Youth Dance Festival in Macau. She is now a dance tutor of Chinese Dance, Contemporary Dance and Street Dance, and is also a freelance performer.

李老師是中國舞蹈家協會會員、香港舞蹈總會執行委員會副主席、香港舞蹈團 董事、星榆舞蹈學校校長及香港藝術發展局審批員 ( 舞蹈 )。曾獲中國舞蹈家協 會及中國文學藝術界聯合會授予最佳編導獎。近年逾 30 多個作品於國内外獲 編舞獎，包括：《白髮魔女》、《殤》、《歡樂的鼓兒敲起來》、《心相》、 《Keepalive》及《Under Her Skin》。 Eileen is a member of Chinese Dancers Association, Vice Chairperson of the Executive Committee of Hong Kong Dance Federation, Board Member of Hong Kong Dance Company, Principal of Starwave Dancing Academy and Examiner of Hong Kong Arts Development Council. Recently she was awarded "The Best Choreographer Award" by the Chinese Dancers Association and China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. 彥珩自幼學習中國舞及現代舞，曾赴海外進修舞蹈文化課 程，熱愛參與各項青年及跨代社區舞蹈項目。近年開始參 與比賽發表個人作品，當中的《餘燼》獲紫荊盃舞蹈大賽 優異獎，其後創作《禮物》及《時間囊》亦獲得全港公開 舞蹈比賽銀獎。 Trained in Chinese dance and modern dance at an early age, Yen-hang furthered her studies in dance cultures abroad and has participated in various youth and crossgenerational community dance projects. In recent years, she started to showcase her dance works and has won awards at the Bauhinia Cup Dance Championships and The Open Dance Contest with her solo pieces including Embers , Present and Time Capsule .

Reflections

很開心也很榮幸可以參與這次計劃。在此計劃中，我學習到很多編舞技巧，例如以主題動作發展成 一個舞蹈段落等。在日後的編舞中，我會多思考如何配合主題，創作與之相關的舞蹈動作。除此之 外，通過各位老師的課堂，探索了很多平時不會接觸到的領域，例如舞台燈光、佈景、投影技術等。 這些都讓我倍感新奇，擴闊了視野，為將來打下了基礎。總括而言，這次的課程令我獲益良多。

I feel extremely delightful and honoured to participate in this programme.In this course, I learned a lot of choreography techniques. In my future choreography, I will put skills into practice by trying to match the theme along with creating dance movements. I, moreover, have explored many new areas ranging from stage lighting to sets to projection technology. Not only does this knowledge broaden my horizons, they also benefit my future dance career. By and large, I have benefited a lot from this course.

這次編舞對我來說是一個很大的挑戰。這 幾個月以來，我和同伴密鑼緊鼓地排練以 「穀雨」為題的舞蹈。從選材、內容構 思、學習編舞技巧，到構想音樂、設計 服裝、與舞者排練和與老師商討舞台佈 景和燈光 -- 每一個環節都是嶄新的體 驗。在過程中我們遇到很多的挫折， 很多構想都需要不斷修改，但幸好老 師們會在旁提點我們，舞者們也會提 出自己的想法，鼓勵我們堅持編下去， 當看到舞蹈漸漸成形，心中真的感到非 常欣慰。

T h i s c h o re o g ra p h y wa s s u c h a b i g challenge for me. Over the past fe w m o n t h s , m y pa r t n e r a n d I h a v e b e e n rehearsing a dance themed around "Grain Rain". From theme selection, content conception, and learning choreographic skills to conceiving music, designing costumes, rehearsing with dancers, and discussing stage sets and lighting with teachers -- Every step is a new experience. In the process, we encountered a lot of setbacks: as many ideas needed to be constantly revised. But fortunately, the teachers would remind us on the side, and the dancers would also put forward their ideas, encouraging us to continue choreographing. When I saw the dance gradually take shape, I was very happy.

In this course, what impresses me most is the contradiction between tradition and innovation.

Folk customs are always reflected in traditional western folk dances. To create something new out of traditions and to make a balance between old and new is really difficult. I think the creative process is amazing, and I hope the final product can have both of the elements. The touching point of this project must be our dancers, who spend their spare time practising with us and giving us full support and love. Finally, I have made like-minded friends in the course. I would like to say to everyone, "You did a Great Job! Thank you and Good Show!"

對這個課程最大的感受，就是傳統與創新的矛盾。西方舞就是要保留一些傳統和一些習俗，而要從中 創新並取得平衡，一個字：難。過程是奇妙的，希望最終作品能達到效果。而今次表演，舞蹈員是 其中一個令我動容的地方。知道每位舞蹈員都是因為想幫助我們成長學習，支持我們而參演。很多 很多愛啊。還有最後，新認識了一班志同道合的好戰友！想跟大家說一聲，謝謝 ~ 辛苦了！ GOOD SHOW ！！

What is the relationship between music, costume, lighting, prop, traditional culture, picture, image, story, and dance? How can I link these components together and put them on stage? It looks easy, but it actually involves many logical and technical issues. During the course, I have learned how to choose the most suitable elements to make a dance piece. I'm very grateful for all the tutors of this course. They make me learn and think, and know more about dance. I am very happy to have made kind and caring new friends in the course. I would also like to put my thumb up to our lovely dancers and thank them for their full support and encouragement. Thank you for practising very hard every Sunday.

參加這個計劃，我需要了解二十四節氣再選取其中一個作為編舞的主題，令我有機會深入認識這個神 奇的古代曆法。驚螫是一個非常獨特的節氣，在我眼中它充滿「火藥味」又富有節奏感，而且打小 人目的宜古宜今，如果編成現代舞應該充滿玩味。創作過程不算順遂，但舞者與我也同樣認為這個 主題非常好玩，過程令我們反思打小人的意義和目的，讓我們更清晰知道什麼東西是我們不想要的， 又有什麼東西是我們真正想要守護的。 感謝香港舞蹈總會各位前輩老師和安排這個課程的工作人員，特別感謝莊陳波老師的用心指導。最 後還有我們屯門舞蹈團的中心人物劉佩雄老師，感謝他一直給予我無限的創作自由和支持。

Joining this programme gives me the opportunity to investigate and explore more about the mysterious and mystical ancient calendar as I am required to choose one of the twenty-four solar terms to be the theme of my choreography. 'Awakening of Insects' is a very unique solar term as it is explosive and rhythmical. Besides, the purpose of hitting the villain is eternal and applicable anytime, anywhere. Therefore it should be a fun and innovative topic for modern dance. Although dancers and I hit a few bumps during the process, we enjoyed it nonetheless and found the theme amusing. By digging deeper into the meaning and purpose of 'hitting the villain', we learn to distinguish between things that we desire and things that we don't want.

I would like to thank all the senior teachers of the Hong Kong Dance Federation and the staff who arranged this course, especially Mr CHONG Chan-po for his work guidance. Finally, Mr LAU Pui -hung, the key person of Tuen Mun Dance Company, thanks very much for his trust and support.

距離正式上台還有一個月，漸漸到了這計劃的尾聲，雖然還是沒有實感，但確實完成了一系列的課 程，學到了很多從前從未接觸的範疇。最初參加這個計劃的時候，沒有想太多，就像最初學習跳舞 的時候，也沒有想過今天會成為跳舞老師。編舞，從前以為是遙不可及的事情，但今天的我嘗試了 第一次，挑戰了自己，不論結果如何，都感到自豪。很感謝香港舞蹈總會給予資源和機會，讓從未 嘗試過的我接觸編舞，從蒐集資料，構思，慢慢開始，到跟張建民教授學習編舞，都得到了很多。 加上服裝、佈景、燈光和音樂，都能夠從專業的老師身上得到幫助和分享，真是十分難得。在這個 計劃中，學到的一切都十分珍貴，並在有限的時間內完成挑戰！

When there is only one month left before the official stage, I am out of thoughts. In the past few months, I think I have learned more than I expected. It was my very first time to deal with elements like idea and theme, choreography, music, costume, even projection. Thank you for the opportunity as I earn a lot more than dancing but making the choreography. It was also a precious chance for me to challenge myself and it will be useful to my dancing career!

I am grateful participating in this programme, which enables me to gain valuable experience in staging a dance piece as a choreographer. Working with a professional production team provides me the precious chance to perform my most treasured dance. Dancing is always my reflection of thoughts and emotion. This course provides me a chance to have a deeper understanding of choreography. The diverse classes have inspired my interest in choreography a lot. It is not an easy task to create a dance. The course provided theoretical and practical knowledge. I appreciate having this chance to strengthen my comprehension of choreography and inspire me. The workshop allowed me to visit all areas of choreography and production, including conceptual development to actual technical design of music, lighting and stage sets. I would like to thank HKDF for organising and adjusting the entire programme during the COVID pandemic period. It has been inspiring to further experiment and develop performance arts through digital and internet technology. Applauses should also go to our troupe's director Ms Luk Yun Mee and tutor Ms Ivy Chan, who have been giving timely support in all areas of the production. I am really happy to have met the other 12 choreographers coming from different areas of dance and arts production in Hong Kong. Thank you and see you again on stage!

舞台上的綻放需要經歷台下萬千的錘鍊。舞蹈創作絕非易事。以前作為舞者的我看到的只是一個表 現美的自己，這次編舞課程我看到的是一個整體的畫面，各個元素包括舞蹈編排、服裝、燈光、佈 景等缺一不可。感恩所有老師在不同範疇的教導和啓發，感謝我們演員的付出和努力。這是一個巨 大的挑戰，也是一個非常難忘的經歷。

Creating a dance is no easy task. To achieve success on the stage, one needs thousands of trials off stage. As a dancer in the past, I only saw dance as a form of self-expression of grace and beauty.

But in this choreography project, I have to deal with the bigger, more holistic picture, where all elements including lighting, costume, and scenery become indispensable to the art. This was a huge challenge and an unforgettable experience. I am thankful to all my teachers for their multidisciplinary inspirations and our dancers for their dedication and hard work.

參加了編創傳承課程讓我有機會發揮自己的創意，它除了提供一個平台讓學員進修編舞技巧，更給 他們學習了服裝、舞台設計、燈光、音樂等元素使其配合我們編創的舞蹈作品。一切由零開始，起 初構思及音樂方面也覺得很迷惘，過程中遇到不少困難，不知如何處理，但導師們也會提出不同的 建議，讓我更有方向去完成及解決問題，令作品向著更好的方向發展。 Participating in the choreography inheritance course gave me the opportunity to develop my creativity. It provided a platform for students to learn the skills of choreography, as well as to cooperate with other faculties like costume, stage design, lighting, music, etc. Everything started from zero. At first, I was very lost about the concepts and music. During the process, I encountered many difficulties and I didn't know how to deal with them. However, my mentors would always put forward different suggestions, which gave me more directions to complete and solve problems, so as to make the work better.

這次的創作由零開始慢慢地建構，是個充滿挑戰而獲益良多的學習過程。透過一系列導師分享環節、 與舞蹈員探索動作，能夠體驗到編舞者的創作過程。當中包括蒐集資料、選材構思、動作編排、音 樂剪接、服裝設計、舞台效果設計，以及與舞蹈員及製作團隊溝通。再次感謝所有導師、舞蹈員及 製作團隊的支持及經驗分享 !

Starting everything from scratch, my choreographing experience has been a challenging yet rewarding learning journey. Through a series of sharing sessions and movement explorations with dancers, I have gained understanding in the process of how choreographers ideate and create dance pieces, which includes researching, selecting themes, developing movements, editing music, designing costumes and stage effects, as well as communicating with dancers and the production team. Thanks again to all tutors, dancers, and the production team for supporting and sharing their experiences!

屯門舞蹈團 Tuen Mun Dance Company

屯門舞蹈團由專業舞蹈家劉佩雄先生任藝術總監。舞團現有 400 多人，每年舉行三場舞蹈表演、六 場比賽及一場優勝表演。舞團並設有 85 舞蹈班，包括中國舞、芭蕾舞、爵士舞及拉丁舞。 Tuen Mun Dance Company has invited a professional and celebrated dancer, Mr LAU Pui-hung, as the artistic director. 苗徽舞集 The Sprout

由劉如徽女士於 1998 年創立的苗徽舞集，致力推動本地舞蹈文化教育，以培育新苗為宗旨。 每年保送學生參加由香港舞蹈總會及香港考試及評核局聯合主辦之「北京舞蹈學院中國舞等級考試」 及「澳洲聯邦舞蹈教師協會爵士舞考試」，亦參與各類大小型演出、比賽及海外交流，讓學員除實 踐舞蹈知識外，還有良好身心發展及德育培養。 The Sprout was founded by Ms Rita LAU in 1998 with the aim of promoting Chinese traditional dance to the community, especially to the younger generation.

CM Dance 成立於 2015 年，主要提供北京舞蹈學院中國舞等級考試課程及 CSTD 爵士舞考試課程。 致力培養學員對舞蹈的興趣及品德，推廣普及舞蹈。本團亦為優秀學員提供額外藝術培訓及精英特 訓，豐富文化涵養及專業知識，協助其投考藝校或晉身舞蹈藝術界別。 CM Dance is a local dance school aiming at nurturing future dancing elites with diligence and integrity. 韵情舞坊於 2003 年由梁其芬女士創立，目的在推廣及發揚中國舞蹈藝術及培訓舞蹈人材。希望年輕 人從參與及學習舞蹈過程中獲得愉悅及滿足感，並使舞蹈藝術得以薪火相傳。藉著推廣「北京舞蹈 學院中國舞等級考試」課程和聘請資深及專業的導師授教、透過有系統及生動的舞蹈教學法，啟發 學員的潛能、創造力和想像力，使學員的音樂感應、舞蹈藝術、個人氣質及品格得到完善的發展及 成長，對傳統文化加深認知，與他人溝通的能力也得以改善。 Kidance was set up by Ms LEUNG Ki-fun in 2003 to promote the art of Chinese dance, to train up young talents in dance, and to pass on the culture, traditions and customs of China. It conducts courses leading to Chinese Dance Graded Examinations held by Beijing Dance Academy.

成立於 1996 年，宗旨為培養本地青年舞蹈家參與並發揚舞蹈，藉以修養品德及提高生活情操。推動 香港中國舞蹈發展之餘，促進本港與外地舞蹈文化上的交流。舞蹈團曾多次參與各項大型舞蹈比賽， 亦與多個內地團體合作交流演出。 Hong Kong Bauhinia Dance Association was established in 1996 to foster local young dancers to participate in the art of dance and to enhance their character development and way of life.

The Association has participated in various dance competitions and won numerous awards. In addition to promoting the development of Chinese dance in Hong Kong, it has organised different dance and cultural exchange programmes.

星榆舞蹈團 Starwave Production

由青年舞蹈愛好者組成之非牟利藝術團體。自 1996 年成立至今，經常獲邀參加本港及各地大型活動， 包括 2008 馬術奧運開場演出、第二屆至第五屆全國少數民族文藝會演 ( 北京 ) 及新加坡國際青年藝 術節 ( 新加坡 ) 等。舞團在國內外的公開賽中獲獎甚多，包括香港紫荊盃舞蹈大賽全場大獎、加拿大 素里區舞蹈比賽金獎、2014 文化中國全球華人才藝 ( 舞蹈 ) 大賽銀獎等。本團亦參與香港舞蹈總會 主辦的大型原創舞蹈詩《歲月香江》及《緣起敦煌》的編舞及演出。 舞團曾與廣州歌舞團合作原創舞劇《紅梅再世》和《掠影紅樓》，並獨立製作跨媒體舞蹈詩《源 . 圓》 和《香江畫圖》，均獲好評。 Starwave Production, a non-profit organization, is a subsidiary performance group of the Starwave Dancing Academy founded in 1996. Since then it has participated actively in various events local and aboard including the Equestrian Olympic Games 2008, the 2nd - 5th National Minorities Art Festival in Beijing and the Singapore International Festival of Arts in Singapore. Starwave Production has obtained brilliant results in various open dance competitions such as Hong Kong Bauhinia Cup Dance Championships (Overall Champion) and Canada Surrey Dance Contest. In recent years, the troupe has participated in the choreography and performance of two largescale original dance poems, As Time Goes By and Dunhuang Reflections , presented by Hong Kong Dance Federation.
