陳旻晶 畢業於香港中文大學新聞與傳播學系；2001年獲取香港藝 術發展局藝術行政獎學金完成文娛藝術行政管理高級證書課 程；2005年起擔任CCDC舞蹈中心副總監；2007年取得南澳 洲大學藝術及文化管理碩士學位。2010年起，擔任香港藝術 發展局舞蹈小組的審批員。

盧偉力 紐約市立大學戲劇博士，香港浸會大學電影學院副教授，並 擔任康樂及文化事務署戲劇小組委員、教育局課程發展處藝 術教育委員會委員、藝術發展局評審員、國際演藝評論家協 會（香港分會）董事、香港電台《講東講西》、《演藝風 流》節目主持。從事多元化文字工作，包括藝評、戲劇、小 說、詩歌、隨筆等，由1991年開始至今，亦寫了不少舞評， 有評論集《舞蹈文字》。 Kevin Ng Kevin Ng is based in Hong Kong and London, and writes about dance for a number of publications including The Financial Times, St. Petersburg Times, Hong Kong Economic Journal, Ballet Review (USA), Ballet 2000 (Italy), Dance Expression (UK), and Shinshokan Dance Magazine (Japan). 加點糖 當初很不巧地踏入它的家門，卻很幸運地與它生活了近20餘 年，如今，自己已是韶華將逝，為了能夠將這段關係繼續下 去，對它的關愛只能由身體力行變為紙墨文字，只是希望我 能和它一路走下去⋯⋯。它的名字叫「舞蹈」。 木火 木生火，火燃木，燃盡木重生。木佇立不動，人以舞動崇敬 不動。 Roberta Freya Producer, performer, writer, and researcher based in Hong Kong. She has previously worked in various cities in the UK, Shanghai, and India and has presented her research papers in Tokyo, Oxford, and the USA. 陳冠而 畢業於城大創意媒體學院，現為自由身藝術工作者，游離於 文字／劇場／錄像創作、表演與生活之間，旅行終日。 李海燕 畢業於中文大學英文系，身懷與藝術無甚關連的碩士學位及 商界經驗，回到文字再出發，從藝術行政走向學徒藝術家。 馮顯峰 現就讀香港中文大學哲學系，為2009、2011及2012年香港舞 蹈聯盟主辦的「舞蹈賞析及評論寫作計劃」學員之一。願以字 為舞蹈留痕，望借文將所想分享。文章曾刊於《舞蹈手扎》、 《信報》、《文匯報》及《城市文藝》。 William Chan William is a lecturer at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education and a media producer. He is also the founding artistic director of theatre group “Friends’ Theatre” and a full member of the International Association of Theatre Critics (Hong Kong). He is always fascinated by the creative use of technologies in theatre. 程天朗 跨界別寫作人，中學時代起於本地多份報章刊物發表小說、 新詩、散文及藝評。現為自由身舞台工作者。

香港舞蹈聯盟榮譽法律顧問 香港舞蹈聯盟（舞盟）歡迎龔靖晴任舞盟之 榮譽法律顧問。龔氏三歲開始習舞﹐分別於 王仁曼芭蕾舞學院及香港演藝學院進修芭蕾 舞。自此﹐她於香港及英國參加了多項舞蹈 及編舞的比賽﹐包括香港舞蹈節、香港芭蕾 舞學會「超新星芭蕾舞優等獎」、南華早報 傑出舞蹈員比賽等。在2012年7月﹐她於國際 （香港）舞蹈學會舉辦的慶祝回歸十五週年 環球舞蹈公開賽中分別獲得標準舞華爾滋及 探戈舞的冠軍。龔氏於2009年成為大律師﹐ 並在香港開始執業。她現正執業於張奧偉爵 士御用大律師事務所。

Hong Kong Dance Alliance, Honorary Legal Advisor The Hong Kong Dance Alliance announces the appointment of Honorary Legal Advisor, Selina Kung. Ms. Kung began dancing at the age of 3 at the Jean M. Wong School of Ballet and subsequently at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Over the years, she took part as a dancer and choreographer in various competitions in Hong Kong and the United Kingdom, including the Hong Kong Dance Festival, Hong Kong Ballet Stars Award, and South China Morning Post Dancer of the Year Award. In July 2012, she came first in the Waltz and Tango (single event) at the Ballroom dance competition organised by the International (HK) Dance Association.

Ms Kung was qualified as a barrister in 2009, and she now practices at Sir Oswald Cheung’s Chambers.

Hong Kong Dance Alliance, New ADMINISTRATOR The Hong Kong Dance Alliance announces the appointment of a new administrator, Miss Elena Wong. Miss Wong began learning Chinese dance at a young age and has previously worked at the Hong Kong Ballet and the LCSD Audience Building Office. The Alliance’s current Administrator Miss Mimi Mok will leave to join a local flagship company.

香港舞蹈團《清明上河圖》北美巡演 香港舞蹈團於2013年1月完成了加拿大及美國 巡演，梁國城作品《清明上河圖》分別於多 倫多的索尼演藝中心和華盛頓的甘乃迪演藝 中心上演，此作品已在香港、北京、上海、 杭州、南京等地巡演過三十多場。

Hong Kong Dance Company tour to North America Hong Kong Dance Company completed its North American tour in January 2013. Leung Kwok-shing’s Qingming Riverside was performed at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.. The show has also been performed 33 times in Hong Kong and in seven cities in Mainland China.

呂沅蔚及譚渼樺加入城市當代舞蹈團 兩位本地舞者呂沅蔚及譚渼樺於2013年1月 加入城市當代舞蹈團，並即隨舞團到歐洲巡 演。她們分別在2008及2012年畢業於香港演 藝學院舞蹈學院。

Evains Lui and Malvina Tam join City Contemporary Dance Company In January 2013, City Contemporary Dance Company announced the appointment of two graduates of the Hong Kong Academy for Perfoming Arts, Evains Lui and Malvina Tam. The dancers joined the Company on its Europe tour.

2013 HONG KONG DANCE AWARDS GALA CEREMONY 2013 Hong Kong Dance Awards Gala Ceremony will take place at 8pm, 19 April, at the Auditorium of Kwai Tsing Theatre. The Artistic Director of the ceremony is Yang Yuntao. Tickets will be available at URBTIX from 30 March 2013.

香港舞蹈聯盟 2011/2012 工作回顧 在2011/2012資助年度，香港舞蹈聯盟（舞 盟）在本港及海外，為推動香港舞蹈界作出 各樣努力：

HONG KONG DANCE ALLIANCE IN 2011/2012 In its annual report, the Hong Kong Dance Alliance reported 2011/2012 activities and projects on both local and international fronts.

舞盟繼續與CCDC舞蹈中心合作，主辦「真 演出」新系列，為年青編舞提供試練機會； 與國際演藝評論家協會（香港分會）合辦的 「看舞‧析舞‧賞舞」舞評工作坊繼續為香 港培訓舞評寫作專才。與香港藝術行政人員 協會合辦的「員滿」藝術行政學習計劃，為 經驗尚淺的舞蹈藝術家，在他們新的作品製 作提供行政指導。 作為致力於刊載舞評及舞蹈消息的平台， 《舞蹈手扎》自第14冊第5期（2012年10月） 起新增「舞影定格」，為舞蹈攝影師提供發 表空間；又加入「兩語專題」，從兩個或以 上的角度切入一些特別專題。 舞盟積極參與及支持一系列成功的國際計 劃，包括：由國際舞蹈與兒童聯盟、世界舞 蹈聯盟與國立臺北藝術大學舞蹈學院合辦的 「2012年世界舞蹈論壇暨國際舞蹈節」，以 「舞蹈．新世代．翻轉世界」為題集中探討 年輕觀眾層；與廣東現代舞週合辦的「聚焦 香港」，包括設立一個向國際節目總監推廣 香港編舞的展覽設施，和一舞蹈製作《聲‧ 相》，邀請三位香港編舞：胡錦明、何靜茹 及郭曉靈演出其短篇作品。舞盟為「2012美 國舞蹈節‧河南」的聯絡辦事處，而八個亞 太地區的獎學金名額，其中四個頒與香港獨 立舞者。 目前舞盟將會支持本地年青編舞參與2013年 的由世界舞蹈聯盟舉辦之「國際青春編舞 營」及慶祝香港舞蹈年獎的十五周年。

The Alliance continued to stage the production series New REAL Showcase with CCDC Dance Centre to support and encourage new Hong Kong choreographers. Dance Enhance with IATC offered budding dance critics opportunity to hone shills and receive mentorship. Close-the-loop with HKAAA provided new choreographers a taste of administrative prospects while choreographing their new dance pieces. dance journal/hk continued to serve as a platform for dance criticism and dance news, a new feature for the Journal, “Dance Frame” was introduced from the Oct 2012 issue to feature dance photographer and also contributions from guest editors and photographers. “A Theme in 2 Languages”, which aims to feature topics from at least two different perspectives was also introduced.

The Alliance actively participated and supported a wide range of international projects, including: the 2012 Global daCI/WDA Dance Summit and International Festival of Dance Academies, co-presented by Dance and the Child International (daCi), World Dance Alliance (WDA), and Dance School of Taipei National University of the Arts (TNUA), which focused on teen reaction to dance; “Hong Kong in Focus” co-presented with the Guangdong Modern Dance Festival, which included an information booth promoting Hong Kong’s choreographers to international buyers, and a mixed-bill dance production Sound | Scape, presenting 3 Hong Kong independent artists: Wu Kam-ming, Frankie Ho, and Elaine Kwok; ADF Henan 2012 for which the Alliance was appointed to be the liaison office and allocated 4 out of 8 scholarships within the Asia Pacific region to be awarded to Hong Kong artists.

Looking ahead, the Alliance plans to support young local choreographers to participate in 2013 International Young Choreography Project by 2013 WDA Asia Pacific and to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Hong Kong Dance Awards.

《城雙成對》── 成就一個美麗的經典 文︰陳旻晶

最初

被邀擔任首屆台灣 「香港週」舞蹈節目 的監製，我既感到榮幸，亦緊張萬 分。十八位參與的獨立藝術家，部 份是好朋友，部份是前輩，走在一 起組成「舞團」，是前無古人的一 次。十八人有著近八十個意見，如 何組合成為一條心，一件事？當日 你一言我一語的討論仍歷歷在目， 這個方案真的能實現嗎？直到十一 月三十日當日完成串排，十八個令 人驚喜的作品呈現於眼前，我才可 以肯定，這個神奇且美麗的交流演 出是真實的。演出當日雖「長命」 雨，演出卻順利得難以置信，一切 都要感恩，而交流的意義亦超額完 成，可喜可賀。 大家在一年多前開始商討，協議出 一個「或者可行」的方案促成十八 人的合作，以環境舞蹈為主題，馬 拉松形式進行，每人演出一段，並 各邀請一位台灣藝術家成為合作夥 伴，落實「交流」之意義。馬拉松 式的演出不易做，六小時的演出， 工作人員於場地只有三天的準備時 間，不要說茶飯不思，就連基本組 裝時間也不足夠，神仙難變的限制 下，製作人員把小宇宙粉飾成大舞 台。最讓我嘆為觀止的一刻就是串 排過後，為要調節較合適的燈光， 十位工作人員機械部隊般重新掛 燈，重新調角度，當整組燈光重開 時，我從心底震了一下，感謝眾人

專業的貢獻。說到環境舞蹈，我們 最後租了玫瑰古蹟，一個有歷史、 有人文故事的地方，我們的藝術家 在租場一波三折的困擾、保護古蹟 的使命及無情風雨的挑戰下，也無 懼考驗，各選了合適的「角落」去 創作，驚喜就因此成就；在大雨及 雷聲的襯托下，嚴明然在樹下演出 的《枯榮》更添淒迷；而趙浩然及 結界達人的《時光咒》就像進入第 三空間，在真實與回憶中游走；楊 春江就在古蹟樑木上印記了他的 《流光．歲月》；方俊權以《格外 留神》回應了古蹟木框摺門的方格 畫面。 說到交流，我們的節目應該是「香 港週」中最精彩落實的一個。每位

編舞自行邀請了台灣的合作夥伴， 來自不同藝術媒體，百花齊放，參 與的除舞者外，還有多位古典音樂 演奏家，以至形體工作者、人體彩 繪及塗鴉藝術家、攝影家及多媒體 設計師。整日的節目在視覺及聽覺 上極盡有趣多變，不禁讚嘆各位的 渾身解數。交流的意義在於溝通， 當中不會事事順利，這個「遙距」 的創作過程，大部份藝術家以網路 聯絡，交換創作意念，其中出現不 少時間脫節、言語誤會甚至更換夥 伴。當然亦有不少正面的成功例 子。侯亨翰是小提琴演奏家，在台 灣接受古典音樂訓練，他的琴理應 是他的生命，他讓全身沾滿泥濘的 舞者去拿他的琴，他說：「心痛之 餘，也希望一切能完美。再來是編

舞家和舞者的態度，也讓我感到被 尊重，他們是重視我和我的琴的， 做任何事情都會先討論，而不是一 味要求我作任何事，這也是我為何 想要盡力去嘗試的主要原因。」至 於編舞與舞者合作也見理所當然， 吳建緯、邢亮兩位，在氣質及外型 上很合拍，他們的溝通是身體的交 流，這個說法真的很美。阿緯說： 「由於每個人都是獨立的個體，思 考邏輯或者身體使用系統，多少存 在相似以及相異的特質，所以排練 時進行的舞蹈，也就是身體語彙與 思考交流的過程…… 我只覺得共舞 的過程像是談天，沒思考過合拍或 者妥協的問題。」 交流的另一個層次，便是觀眾的參 與，起初已有台灣朋友告知，要求 觀眾進入場館後脫鞋及自行攜帶著 去觀賞節目並不是台灣人的習慣。 現場的觀眾每十五分鐘要轉換一次 位置，拿著笨重的行李、雨傘，為 爭一個好位置，動作矯健地走位， 更主動讓開空間給演員，他們的關 顧、合作及體諒，不禁要向他們 致敬。在欣賞過程中，他們直接而 真誠的反應，亦是最窩心的回報， 一個大笑、專注的目光，加上六小 時的不離不棄坐在地板上欣賞，他 們的「專業」不下於我們的藝術團 隊。他們說，香港的創意及天馬行 空感動了他們，而他們的熱情當然 亦深深感動了我們。 美麗的第一次，神話般呈現在台北 市，希望在不久將來，有機會延續 這個經典，台灣藝術家連同我們的 舞蹈家上演一個香港版，把交流圓 滿地推上另一高峰。 感謝為這次交流努力的各個單位。 （特別鳴謝亨翰及阿緯的分享）

玫瑰古蹟、解放舞蹈 評《城雙成對──香港×台北舞蹈交流》 文︰陳雅萍

連日來的陰雨，讓人 想到要在玫瑰古蹟 ──蔡瑞月舞蹈研究社看演出，便 不禁皺起了眉頭。以往觀眾席總被 制式地安排在戶外草皮上，一遇雨 就得和全身濕冷的不適感奮戰，讓 觀舞（戲）變成一場意志的考驗。 但週六這場不算小的雨，卻意外造 就了一次極為特殊的觀舞經驗。 十八位來自香港的編舞家和與他們 合作的台灣舞蹈家、藝術家們，再 加上一直維持在一、二百位左右的 觀眾，全數擠在玫瑰古蹟木造房屋 不算大的L形室內空間裡。十八支作 品輪番上演，每次換場，觀眾便在 工作人員的指揮下，拎著包包、雨 傘和放在塑膠袋裡的鞋，安靜而迅 速地挪動身體，為下一場演出讓出 一個新的空間。於是，觀眾們流動 的身體組合，觀看時或高或低、或 直或斜的視角，或侷促或稍微寬適 的身體姿勢，都成為每支舞作不可 分割的一部分。從下午二點到晚上 八點的馬拉松接力演出，不少觀眾 從頭堅持到尾。 這次演出最教人驚艷之處，是十八 位橫跨不同世代的編舞者所展現的 多元實驗風格，以及對身體豐富而 歧異的詮釋。由於最初的構想即是 以演出空間出發、以港台兩地跨界 合作為觸媒，實際工作時間僅有短

短的一週左右，因此許多作品中可 見即興的成分，但也恰好地能與當 下時空氛圍以及近在咫尺的觀眾產 生即時的互動與分享。 這其中，有最純粹的身體感動。香 港編舞家梅卓燕和多年好友台灣舞 蹈家古名伸以舞蹈敘述時間，一襲 展開於地的斗篷讓她倆各據一方， 從開頭的五彩斑斕到結尾時反面的 沉靜鐵灰，梅卓燕弧線蜿蜒的肢體 映著古名伸簡潔沉靜的動作，包裹 在黎國媛現場即興溫柔如河的琴聲 裡，造就一方美麗的風景。邢亮的 《兩個身體》則幾乎不用音樂，靜 默裡他和台灣舞者吳建緯以身體 的呼吸、延展為節奏，讓觀眾近 距離地品味身體動靜之間最細膩 的轉折，以及在明與暗、有與無 的轉換裡舞者與觀者的身心深度 共鳴的可能。 另一種身體表演則有如裝置的概 念。《枯榮》裡，嚴明然裹著一身 白衣站在戶外草皮大樹下的一張椅 子上；許久，她不跳舞，只在雨中 不斷抽蓄著身體。林經堯設計的節 拍器裝置環繞著她，計算著時間， 也彷彿心跳。她被雨水浸透的軀體 暗喻生命困境，就在她將一隻白鴿 自被囚的黑盒中放出的剎那，她的 身體也彷彿獲得了自由。陳敏兒在 《畫皮》裡，以一把利剪，讓自己

從黑色塑料袋中破繭而出。在人體 彩繪藝術家陳懿凡的筆下，她溫馴 地蠕動，擺出各種姿態。突然燈光 一暗，她身上的螢光顏料頓時色彩 斑斕，閃動的螢光長睫毛，甚至一 縮一吐的五彩舌頭，讓她化身童話 中神祕的夜獸。 有時觀眾或路人也成為舞蹈風景的 一部分。《再遇他的他…》中，王 廷琳從半戶外的廊下舞進室內，他 和台灣新生代編舞者許程崴多半各 據空間的一方，只偶爾短暫交遇。 有一度，他們相遇在連接主空間和 後台的展示櫃前，恰巧一對老夫婦 坐在房間中央鋼琴椅上，突出於眾 人的頭頂；從我的位置仰角望去， 老人安靜觀舞的神情正不鑿痕跡 地被融入二位年輕表演者以身體與 表情交織出的「街角一景」。當表 演在戶外空間發生時，從室內的觀 眾區望出去又是另一番風景。趙浩 然的《結界達人──時光咒》讓四 名舞者身著不同花色的全罩式緊身 超人裝，隨著音樂家侯亨翰悠揚的 小提琴聲，在雨中泥濘的草皮上起 舞、翻滾。由於他們奇特的裝扮與 戲劇化的舞步，引來圍籬外不少路 人好奇地駐足，有人拿起相機拍下 這偶遇的一刻，有人撐著傘久久流 連不去，於是，路人也成為這詭異 而逗趣的城市舞蹈表演中引人注目 的一份子。 當夜色降臨玫瑰古蹟，舞蹈與科技 碰撞的火光也隨之熱鬧登場。香港 年輕編舞家張學良和台灣攝影師李 威儀，將原本獨立一隅，只用來休 息的小和室變成舞台。白色的壁面 快速投影著台北的市容與天際線的 影像，張學良忘情地舞動在這空間 中，有時更攀爬上牆面木框，彷彿 要投身入台北城市影像之流裡； 但有趣的是，畫面經常出現「禁止 攀爬」的字樣，與他攀附其上的身 影形成諷刺的對比，也提醒我們玫

瑰古蹟可能有的空間禁忌。另外， 香港舞蹈家何靜茹和台灣視覺創作 者焦聖偉及呂沐芢合作演出《繪無 痕》，以影像塗鴉的方式，將實體 空間幻化成如繪本般絢麗又充滿想 像的畫面，即時圖繪與舞者身體當 下的結合，創造出不同於以往的視 覺驚喜。 楊春江壓軸的《流光．歲月》將表 演空間藉由影像拉到戶外庭院、巷 弄街道。他從最「微觀」的一雙腳 開始，自室內展示櫃所權充的小舞 台試探似的伸出，再慢慢露出肌肉 精實的雙腿與身體，然後像體操選 手般攀上展示櫃的樑柱舞動起來。 當他拉下櫃前的一匹白布，倒退著 走出室外，白布上開始投影著他 的臉龐，接著是玫瑰古蹟庭院的小 徑，然後是他赤身奔跑、翻滾於暗 夜台北巷弄的身影，一個從空中俯 瞰的「巨觀」鏡頭緊緊跟隨。舞作 結尾，一台扁平的飛行器突然飛入 觀眾席，與楊春江共同謝幕，原來 這就是那隻會飛的眼睛（由台灣媒 體設計者李柏廷、莊定一設計）。 這是一場完全因玫瑰古蹟特殊空間 而生，無法在別處複製，獨一無二 的舞蹈展演，也是我所見過最徹底

運用那裡既有空間的演出。由於 十八組團隊必須共同使用一個空 間輪流排練，因此幾乎每個角落都 被充分利用，而大家也練就了互相 配合、因勢而為的彈性與能力，於 是有限的時間與空間資源卻造就了 許多源源不絕的創意與驚喜。香港 作家陳冠中曾以「混雜是美的」和 「擁擠是我們的特色」來形容香港 的都會文化特質，在這次《城雙成 對》舞蹈交流演出中，我們的確見 證了香港編舞家們富有彈性、開 放、勇於嘗試的精神，以及他們不 固守舞蹈既定框架的創作態度。更 難得的是，他／她們既能各自展現 作為藝術家的獨特風格，又能放下 身段轉身擔任現場服務人員，讓觀 看演出有如到朋友家作客般的親近 與親切。這樣緊密合作的無私氛 圍，讓這場龐大而複雜的展演得以 如行雲流水般地進行，同時也感染 觀眾融入其中，成為整個事件裡活 躍的一份子。 觀看日期：2012年12月1日 本文首刊於（台灣）表演藝術評 論台，網址為︰http://pareviews. ncafroc.org.tw

珠玉在前，楊雲濤的起步點在高 原。他在乎自己的真誠，直抒胸 臆，化動態書法形象為生命觀照。 墨在呼吸 序場就有寄托。八位穿黑衣的舞 者，在台左前方（觀眾右方）一塊 有幾處凹陷的大石上左右微微搖 曳，斑駁的光塊，自整個舞台滑流 而過，繼而在舞者身上滑流而上， 我感受到墨在呼吸，而我亦在呼吸 中體會黑衣舞者的動韻。那大石， 有局部仿佛墨硯，有局部又似沒有 眼珠的眼框，或許，設計師所指向 的整體聯想，是一塊頭骨吧。那 麼，在上面搖動的舞者表徵甚麼？ 是傳統中國書法藝術中的八種基本 筆法？抑或是與生命關連的八個方 位？總之，這是蹈虛攝意的舞韻。

夏天

的雲，翻動如浪，巨 石升沉。香港舞蹈團 《蘭亭‧祭姪》。編舞楊雲濤以心 象言志，借中國兩大書法家王羲之 (303 – 361)及顏真卿 (709 – 785) 書 寫兩種行書的情態與背景，表達其 對時代的體會。 舞蹈與書法 書法與舞蹈，都涉及感情在空間中 的表現，都講究佈局，有濃淡、高

低、粗幼、聚散等等技法，美學上 頗有共通。不少舞蹈家都曾以書法 為素材，創作過有中國藝術氛圍的 作品。從九十年代梅卓燕的《狂 草》，到千禧之後林懷民幾乎一口 氣推出的《行草》、《行草貳》、 《狂草》三部曲，展現了我們這一 代舞蹈家的藝術自信與自覺探索。 以舞蹈模仿書法，他們捉著書法美 學特質，墨化體韻、水袖流蘇、揮 灑如風。

書聖王羲之亮相了。在後台上方高 處，見一大光圈，圓亮飽滿，前 立一人，文士裝扮，俯視良久。 但見舞台上黑衣舞者圓渾流姿， 自在生發，上肢沒作開合搖擺，只 是作出凝定的姿態，左右呼應，間 或互相轉向，暗合中國書法筆鋒 之收歛；眾舞者連結時，有橫有 斜，墨動、感受、轉移，舞步中見 情感，有速度、有軌跡。這是形 式主義 (formalism) 的思維方向。 以步韻寓意動 蘭亭雅集，是魏晉南北朝一次文士 聚會。那時中國八方動蕩，但士人 仍可抒懷胸臆，花月春風，墨動意 動，「雖無絲竹管弦之盛，一觴一 詠，亦足以暢敘幽情」，《蘭亭集 序》如是說。楊雲濤從今天走進千 多年前的場景，添加樂聲，讓王羲 之在古琴洞簫的飄逸中，緩緩步下 斜台，此時天幕上筆墨投影、字形 疊送，王羲之背拖一塊覆蓋整個舞

這段舞緩緩滲透，可以看到楊雲 濤對書法柔性的情感，生命如脈 脈流水。

台的厚厚的布。他自天而降，他的 書法，抹過中華大地。

在中國歷史上，唐朝「安史之亂」 (755 – 763)也許亦是一個「最差的時

為死於非命者申冤？這提問是自 省，也是對香港舞蹈藝術的鏡照。

楊雲濤以步韻寓意動，於是見一位 女舞者走過，一塊大白布，是一抹 神思，若其對書法有更深的體驗， 並融入書家的墨韻，我們不單可以 知道王羲之在他心中偉大，更能體 會王羲之的自如、自由、自在。這 是對舞蹈美學的超越追求。

代」，它是唐代由盛轉衰的開始， 此後兵禍不斷，生靈塗炭。「安史 之亂」造成顏真卿家族傾覆，生 命破碎。亂起時，顏真卿的兄長 與侄兒鎮守常山，而他則鎮守平 原，結果叛軍圍攻常山，先後殺 死其兄長與侄兒。後來他只找到 兄長一條腿和侄兒的頭顱，傷心 欲絕。

悲壯儀祭 失神的書法家在地上苦苦掙扎， 象喻千百年來中國知識份子的掙 扎，其煎熬也熾，其失落無底， 在場的每一位觀眾，與台上舞 者，與楊雲濤，共同體會到這生 命的激烈。

書法的真諦 上下半場，是天上地下，落差很大 的情調蒙太奇 (tonal montage)。素材 涉高涉低，把它們並置，本身是有 意而為的。《蘭亭集序》，帶醉行 文，書寫了最好的時光；《祭侄文 稿》，激憤洶湧，追祭了忠義的英 烈。楊雲濤要表達書法的真諦、倫 理的真章，他更要表達對中華民族 優秀兒女在天之靈的崇敬感情。

我們也有過「最差的時代」，也 曾體會過黑夜裡不知名的一些 集體呼喚，歷史的傷口，不想回 憶，未敢忘記。當時代的巨石如 烈士的頭顱一樣落在心上，我們 會有內在的動蕩，久久不能平 復，不知手之舞之，足之蹈之， 遂有悲慟需要。

在一輪又一輪擊鼓聲中，民眾湧 出。亂世蒼生，就在身邊，就在眼 前，一塊大石頭在半空垂懸，這是 最差的時代。

楊雲濤捉住這份心靈需要，以舞韻 融同墨韻，書寫自己壓抑的心象。 塵世的風風雨雨，化作從天而降 的、寫滿書法的宣紙。原來事雖過 而境未遷，憑一己之筆墨，又如何

然後，楊雲濤有神來的一筆，他 盡去舞者，盡去聲音，讓大石 自半空下降到地板上。從意象 來看，巨石浮空，很似超現實 主義畫家馬格里特 (Magritte， 1898 – 1967) 的 The Castle of the Pyreness (1959)。從敘事來看，這 是序場的呼應。 我們共歷了一個儀祭，嗚呼哀 哉，悲壯是我們共同的記憶，而 超越，則是可望不可即的想望。 不過，我相信，在一個甚日子， 在我們有生之年，我們還是能熱 淚盈眶地看到舞蹈蘭亭的。

Three Versions of Nutcracker

and their performances were superb.

The lead roles of Maria, the Nutcracker Prince, and Drosselmeyer were excellently performed. The prince’s solo was breathtakingly exciting, with endless spins.

The duets were all beautifully choreographed, and provided emotional intensity with their breadth and long arcs of movements. In Act 1, the magic show for the children at the Christmas party was quite spectacular.

soldiers and the rats was lively and energetic. The choreography for the Act 2 divertissements was imaginative.

A fire dance was added to the Spanish dance, which increased the excitement.

The Arabic dance saw two dancers suspended upside down on flying wires.

In mid-December, an excellent film version of Nutcracker was on view.

Edko Films Limited released the second film in a series recorded recently at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. It was Nutcracker in the version choreographed by its renowned choreographer Yuri Grigorovich in 1967. It showed us Nina Kaptsova and Artem Ovcharenko, two young stars from the current generation, in full command of technical powers and totally resplendent in the duets.

Every part of the ballet was danced on a grand scale as expected from this great company from Moscow. Though this version differs from the traditional choreography, it shows off the Bolshoi’s unique grandness of style splendidly.

And the story still follows the traditional version. In my opinion, this was the best of the three versions of Nutcracker on view in Hong Kong in December.

The third and final version of Nutcracker was the much-publicized première of the new production by the Hong Kong Ballet. This new version is

the dance world, the Christmas season is synonymous with The Nutcracker. Three versions of this ballet classic were on view during this Christmas season. Firstly, a very interesting and original version of Nutcracker was shown by the Imperial Ice Stars entitled Nutcracker on Ice. This company has toured Hong Kong several times in the past. The choreographer Tony Mercer has done an excellent job in adapting this ballet classic onto the skating rink. The skaters of this Imperial troupe were all Russian,

by the young Australian choreographer Terence Kohler who is resident choreographer of the Bavarian State Ballet in Munich. Kohler has used a new libretto by fellow Australian Clair Sauran, which unexpectedly works pretty well. However, this libretto is fairly complicated for a first viewing even for adults, and audience members are well advised to read the story in the program beforehand and explain it to their children. The sets and costumes designed by Jordi Roig were most sumptuous and even grander than Peter Farmer’s designs for the previous production.

In this new libretto, the main innovation is that the present given

by Drosselmeyer to the children isn’t a nutcracker, but instead a dollhouse.

And both Clara and her brother Fritz are so impatient to look at this new present that they enter the dollhouse before the morning of Christmas day.

It is in the dollhouse where the battle between the Nutcracker’s army and the rats takes place. Another innovation is that the Nutcracker is frozen by the Rat King in the battle, and so the subsequent snow scene with the Dance of the Snowflakes makes sense dramatically. And after Clara has hit the Rat King with her shoe, it’s Fritz

who kills the Rat King instead of the Nutcracker. This version also introduces a new character called Clarchen who is Clara’s favorite doll, and who has a delightful short solo in the Waltz of the Flowers. My main criticism is on the romantic duet in Act 1, which is normally danced by Clara and the Nutcracker. Here it’s danced by Clara and her brother Fritz, which is pretty odd and incongruous.

though not great, is competent throughout this production. The choreography for the battle scene and the Waltz of the Flowers for instance is more satisfying than before. However Kohler’s choreography for the national dances is pretty dull.

In Act 2, the Nutcracker is unfrozen and brought back to life after reunion with the ballerina doll. And the national dances are performed by the dolls, bringing a link to Act 1. The Waltz of the Flowers unexpectedly starts off with the corps de ballet women in snowflake costumes from Act 1 before they quickly change into the colorful floral costumes to signify the warmer weather after both the Nutcracker and the ballerina doll have been unfrozen and restored to life. And as expected, the grand pas de deux is danced by the Nutcracker and his beloved ballerina to celebrate their reunion.

Leading the opening night, Jin Yao glittered in Act 2 as the ballerina. She has never looked more radiant, and her technique was dazzling as usual.

However, Wei Wei, her partner who danced the Nutcracker, danced with evident strain. Classical princely roles are never his forte. The second cast was noticeably weaker with Wu Feifei and Li Jiabo. It’s not the first time I’ve commented that the Hong Kong Ballet, being so weak in male principals, should make more use of Kostyantyn Kesheyshev. Keshyshev finally danced the third cast in the following week, partnering Zhang Si Yuan. They were by far the best partnership during this first season of the new Nutcracker. Shen Jie was excellent as Fritz. And the troupe’s supporting performances were strong.

一齣倍感孤寂的「喜劇」 文︰加點糖

假如

當我們意識到自己的 一生，不過就是一齣 討人歡心的喜劇，那你還會堅持把 它演下去嗎？人生都「如戲」了， 還嫌不夠殘酷嗎？還要讓我們知 道最終會是一部這樣的「喜劇」！ 演，還是不演，看似不同的答案， 到最後其實都沒有分別，因為在世 人看來，你的存在就是一齣戲，只 不過在這個社會環境裡，我們更易 扮演的是一齣討好他人的「喜劇」 罷了。這齣2004年首演的舞碼，讓 我在事隔8年之後有幸看到現場的演 出，當我步出劇場之時，留在腦海 的竟然是這些和舞蹈表演無關的思 索和念頭。整個的演出就像它名稱 ──《畸人說夢》，充滿了都市人獨 自在「喃喃自語」的味道，呈現在觀 眾眼前的都是些看起來無邏輯的情 景、情節。在舞蹈中，既有誇張的人 物塑造（魔術師），更有寫實的情緒 狀態在表達，舞台上的一幕幕，彷彿 就是周圍生活的寫照。是的，都知道

人生就是一台戲，可卻沒有想到自己 的這台戲（人生），卻會是如此的沒 有章法，沒有邏輯；你越是想演好這 台戲，就越感荒謬，倍感孤寂。 雖說自己還沒有認真拜讀過卡夫卡 的作品，但總覺得好像很理解他似 的。卡夫卡以他獨特的體驗和表 達，讓我們看到了個人的內心世界 是如何受外界影響的，包括人在社 會的種種際遇，與他人、與周遭環 境的關係；也讓我們看到在社會生 活中，群體的麻木，粗造和強橫以 及個體的敏感、細膩及脆弱。然而 在現實生活中，一方面我們要求充 份感受和尊重個體，但同時也在不知 不覺間扮演著群體的角色，或許這正 是我們內心深處糾結的根源吧，也是 孤寂與荒謬產生的緣由吧？ 演出除了有卡夫卡的影子，還令我 想起了讀書時學過的一篇文章《套 中人》，講述的就是這樣一個將

矩」中如何將自己變得麻木、僵 化。舞臺上的人物也是一樣，這一 身的衣物和標誌性的禮帽，既是社 會身份的象徵，也是自身壓力、縛 束的來源，劇中幾段舞蹈的動作之 動機都是來自於這樣的糾結：穿了 脫，脫了又穿；既怕睡不著，更怕 醒來面對一切。床，作為最後的避 風港，卻也不見得有多平靜，舞劇 中最具視覺效果的一段舞蹈，便是 以床為道具，配合著映射，在動感 強勁的音樂作為伴奏之下，加上舞 者具爆發性的肢體動作，傳達出一 段都市人在夜色下種種觀怪陸離的 景象，將現代都市人脫下衣冠偽裝 之後的好勝、自私，而又散漫、庸 懶的狀態演繹得淋漓盡致。而劇中 的最後一段舞「假如這是一齣喜 劇，他會堅持把它演完」，看完之 後則不禁令人唏噓不已，可能自己 曾經是舞者的緣由，對這一段舞特 別有感觸：簡單得不能再簡單的動 作編排和場面調度，卻能令到要表 達的情緒慢慢蘊釀，一點點提昇， 最後充斥在整個的表演空間，足見 編舞之功力！舞蹈表面上說的是一 群討人開心的舞台表演者在極力地 完成「討人開心」的工作，實際 上，則是讓我們看到了在人生這個 舞台上自己的影子，作為演員，開 心時演喜劇，碰到不開心時都可以 演悲劇，而面對人生這個舞台呢？ 如果生活是苦難的，那從中找到快 樂的緣由就是生存的依據，所以扮 演喜劇的角色是一種必然，怪不得 有人戲言：人的一生，基本上就是 在被人笑話和笑話他人中度過了。 整場演出的結尾處，一個舞者在空 空的舞台上，仍在繼續著他固有的 舞步，固有的表情，將這一齣戲堅 持演完。與其說這是一種信念的 話，不如說是一種宿命，對於已經 穿好「戲服」踏入「舞台」的我 們，還能怎樣？！

我認為「延續」一 詞帶有「向前走」 的正面指涉，是種美麗的主觀。 「延續」可能只是同一狀態的伸 展，或重複。康樂及文化事務署 在1月18—20日主辦舞蹈演出《站 在延續線》，據場刊介紹這台作 品是延續了2012年香港大會堂建 成50週年的環境舞蹈《這地》的 編舞組合，再次由林俊浩、許俊 傑、郭曉靈、黃靜婷、黃美玉和 李健偉六位分享舞台。場刊介紹 《這地》時提到該環境的獨特構 成：烈士紀念碑與婚姻註冊署的 一路之隔，令人聯想生與死不過 是同一條路上的不同中站。當這 環境因素不再存在於是次演出場 地──賽馬會創意藝術中心黑盒劇 場，所謂的「延續」意蘊何在？ 除了黃靜婷的Lifting Bones，其 餘五位編舞的作品看不到與《這

地》的明顯關係。六個段落進展 算流暢，編舞們刻意設計過場處 理，避免一般的黑燈轉換。但 這流暢更可能是因為六個段落的 變化不大。不論在舞蹈結構、音 樂選擇或對主題探索的深度，都 不相伯仲。同樣兩個舞者演出林 俊浩的《候．話》和郭曉靈《驟 現》，演繹兩個編舞的思考，肢 體語言和情緒投射竟如此相似。 是舞者的自我太強還是編舞的風 格缺乏個性？稍為突出的是李健 偉的《蘋果與蒼蠅》，在舞蹈詞 彙及編舞技巧上比他之前的作品 沉澱，其他作品要不意念造作， 要不乏善足陳。 為香港大會堂50週年紀念而創 作的《這地》有其獨特背景， 其中部分編舞的參與能追溯到更 早時期的環境舞蹈計劃《六翻自 己》，其時安排真的製造了契機

讓編舞在環境舞蹈上延續探索。 這次主辦單位與編創人員重逢， 除了順手拈來的方便及曾擁有一 度的安全感，雙方對「延續」有 甚麼願景？六位編舞都已分別發 表過長篇作品，且起碼其一為康 文署所主辦。從全面擁有舞台兩 小時回到分享六份之一演出時 間，「純粹」及「精煉」兩個維 度將恰當地衡量編舞的收放自如 和自律意識的能力。從這兩個要 求看來，這次「延續」似乎是原 地重複，或更不幸是往回走。六 位編舞經常被冠以「新鮮人」的 稱號，他們在其漫長的創作人 生也尚算「站在起跑線」上， 但觀畢此台作品，卻予人板斧 用盡之感。這條延續線，看上 去難免荒涼。 評論場次：2013年1月18日晚上8時

Dancing with Freedom – An interview with Daniel Yeung

‘Freespace’

is an ambitious name; especially in a place where bureaucracy and strict regulations overpower the willingness for adventure and shouldering of responsibilities. For readers who have ventured to produce a performance in Hong Kong, you will know how often authorities shy away from “possible dangers” – according to fire safety regulations, for example, if an actor needs to light a cigarette on stage, a stage hand would have to keep a fire extinguisher aimed at him as he struts and frets his hour upon the stage until the cigarette is heard of no more. What would become of West Kowloon’s Freespace? I had a chat with Daniel Yeung, co-curator of Freespace Fest (15-16 Dec 2012), about experimentation, freedom, space, and pole dancing.

Held at the West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade, Freespace Fest was presented by the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA) as an experiment to see what can be done in the big Norman Foster designed park. “I was asked to curate the dance programs based on ‘street

dance’. To me, this does not mean a particular type of dance, but more an exploration of the possibility of space.”

The word ‘exploration’ itself entails uncertainties, potential dangers, and ambiguity: things that other established organizations try their best to avoid, but WKCDA seems to embrace these terms without the bat of an eye. “I was free to redefine what ‘street dance’ is and free to curate whatever dance group I wanted.

This opened up a lot of possibilities for movement arts in an open-air space. That is why I placed what we conventionally see as ‘street dance’ onto the main stage and traditionally stage-bound contemporary dance into the ‘street’.”

There were a total of eight dance performances over the two-day event, four of which were presented on stage, and four off-stage. The performers ranged from classically trained ballerinas from the APA to b-boy dance crews dancing an ode to their genitals. Yeung wanted to prove that street dance does not only belong to the street, it can be a main stage event at a festival, and can act as an open platform for dance groups to collaborate in previously improbable ways. It worked

beautifully: five APA contemporaryballet graduates from Les Danseurs were serenaded by five b-boys in front of Victoria Harbor; Dance Unlimited’s witty pole dance and hoop routine; P e r f o r m c r e w ’s s p e c t a c u l a r f i r e dance... all are dance groups that are under the radar and without this free platform, may not have had the chance to be presented in other mainstream Festivals. “Performcrew’s fire dance requires the various elements of the setting to work together – the nightfall, the open sky above you, the audience huddling together in excitement – it is not site-specific, the space is part of the performance. The organizers must have a very open mentality to program these artists. To me, the achievements of the non-stage performances were bigger than those on-stage.”

Apart from giving opportunities to dancers, Yeung discovered that Freespace Fest opened up new freedom for the audience as well. “I was worried about the mood of the audience – would mothers shoo their kids away from our pole dance performers in the park?” Hong Kong [Governmental] programmers are used to directing audiences – telling us what to do (more often what not to do), and protecting us from what they deem inappropriate.

Freespace Fest was refreshing in the sense that it went against what we were used to. It was unkempt, undefined, and unrestrained. The audience was free to decide what was best for them, free to take control of their actions, free to enjoy. “At the end of the day, no one complained (about the pole dance) or felt endangered (by the fire dance). The audience applauded the performances with an open mind.” Yeung credits this to the open space and open-air.

Different from his Open Dance Series, which adapts productions for different sites each time (and presents various works mainly for the general public), Freespace Fest excels in its audience participation.

The audiences of Freespace Fest are usually interested in arts but can come from a variety of backgrounds – they might be band sound lovers who go for head-banging rock, visual arts connoisseurs who thrive on art installations, or community groups who are showcasing their cultural products. “Our dance performances probably surprised a lot of non-dance audiences, but the reaction we received was great.

Compared with passersby in the malls or MTR stations where we have done site-specific dance, Freespace Fest’s audiences were youthful and respectful. There was an atmosphere

of mutual appreciation and I think that at the end of the day, the four groups (music, dance, collaborative programs, and outdoor performances) all managed to exchange audiences.”

Freespace Fest has demonstrated to legislators that, contrary to their belief, Hong Kong people know what they are doing and can co-exist in a respectable manner. “Hong Kong people are ready for the freedom of Freespace Fest: everyone is an initiator, and participants are the ones creating the great party. After a while, I realized that I did not have to put on my curator’s hat to direct anything.” Daniel and I, and I guess a lot of cultural practitioners, all wish that Freespace Fest can keep its humanness and maintain its stance of freedom and openness. “Freespace Fest is a good starting point and a

great platform. No one knows what the West Kowloon Cultural District will become, nor does anyone know what ‘freedom’ can bring. It was a pleasant surprise that the Australian hip hop group Stalker found great interest in our local troupe Chiliboyz and talked about possibilities of collaborations in the future. No one knows what this might lead to, but that’s the beauty of Freespace Fest.

I want to explore possibilities, create new surprises – I would love to introduce Parkour as performance, not a lot of people know about this art form in Hong Kong, let alone have seen it presented in a festival!”

Wi t h a b i g n a m e c o m e s g r e a t responsibilities, and it is a shared hope amongst many that Freespace Fest can live up to its name – a free, open platform for artists, curators, and audiences alike.

「民間起動，起動民間」作 口號的首屆「藝民節」，由 本地資深劇場工作者陳曙曦和莫蔓 茹，聯同燈光設計師馮國基和音樂 人陳偉發發起。為香港搞一個藝穗 節的念頭，源起自兩人在2011年時 到愛丁堡藝穗節考察的經歷。愛丁 堡藝穗節是藝穗文化的起源，現在 藝穗已遍及全球。 「藝穗節應該是由政府舉辦的，台 灣、澳門和深圳都已經有自己的藝 穗節，但是香港始終沒有。於是我 們便決定發起。」莫蔓茹謂他們只 是發起人，而不是組織者。分別在 於，他們的信念是，藝穗節是屬於 大家的。 丟走框框 在摸索中成形 「當時我們想，現今不少劇團都有 自己的排練場地，某程度上已具備 辦藝穗節的成熟條件。原初的想法 頗單純，就是直接跟圈內的朋友商 議；訂出二十個節目後，大家在自 己的排練室舉行，就足以成就一個 藝穗節。」 從簡單直接的想法開始，四人召開 了幾個會議，募集圈內朋友，又開 設網站，公開招募表演團隊。「我 們沒有先從行政角度預設太多框 架，很多事情都在摸索中逐漸成 形。」有本來不認識的朋友主動接 觸，又有人開始問：我們沒有自己 的場地，但很想參與，可以透過藝

民節找到提供場地的朋友嗎？於是 又衍生出「招募場地」這件事，由 「藝民節」作中介，讓需要場地的 表演團隊能與提供場地者接洽。 經過一番努力，最後「藝民節」涵 蓋的場地，從各大小劇團的排練室 （由已很熟悉的賽馬會創意藝術中 心、牛棚、Kubrick、天邊外等， 到黑目鳥白盒、水泊劇場、小劇場 工作室等），以至香港故事館、髮 廊（Labelle Salon）、咖啡廳、書 店（實現會社），甚至觀塘的天橋 底等等，突破香港觀眾慣熟的官方 表演場地，發掘未想像過的新鮮空 間。無論對圈內人或觀眾，這些獨 特的觀演體驗，都是難能可貴的刺 激與啟迪。 催生與刺激 藝穗意味著離開官方場地，開拓小 型的民間場地，很實際的情況是， 租金大幅下降，來自上層的管理限 制又較少，因此創作人便可以稍為 拋開這兩個包袱，更自由地創作。 首屆「藝民節」不存在策展，原 則上完全開放，極重自由精神。於 是節 目 亦 不 囿 於 劇 場 ： 舞 蹈 、 形 體、默劇、即興、立體書、音樂 （爵士、搖滾、實驗）、論壇劇 場、誦詩會、讀書、裝置，還有 「節中節」、工作坊、研討會及放 映會等。 「藝民節」起著很重要的「催化」 作用；除催生了新的表演空間外，

因著「藝民節」而催生的中小型演 出也很多，甚至有劇團因此而誕 生。另一令人雀躍的，就是外國藝 術家的來訪，例如來自日本的松島 誠與來自法國陽光劇場團的團員。 台灣的曉劇場來訪又是一件有趣 的事：「 這 群 年 輕 人 主 動 在 網 上 報名，計劃書寫得很詳盡。他們 說，台北及不少地方的藝穗節都 是由官方策劃，而香港的是民間 起動，並且完全開放，認為這才 是真正的藝穗節！」 不同的心態：未準備好，不成形 「藝民節」提供了一個開放的平 台，期望支持大家在自由自主的前 提下，做 “out of the box” 的事。 「我期望『藝民節』是年青的，意 思是敢於實驗的。我記得有些年 青人跟我說，怕自己未準備好，所 以不敢參加。我反倒認為，藝穗就 是無須準備好，應該要是未準備好 的。因為這裡就是一個讓未準備 好、不確定的甚麼的種子慢慢蘊釀 的地方。」曙曦又期望下屆票價還 可以下調，讓觀眾或圈內朋友能負 擔得起看更多節目，以促進交流； 同時，作品篇幅可以短，也可以做 試演。「有數個演出的票價很低， 演出時間相應亦較短，場地面積也 很小，只能容納十多二十人。於是 他們創作了這個條件下各具特色 的作品，反應也都不錯，場場爆 滿。」他認為，不用一直以「標準 製作模式」的篇幅和票價作考量， 要突破框框去想去試，這樣才是藝 穗節的意義。 有不少朋友拿「藝民節」跟《自 由野》、《文藝復興》甚至 Clockenflap 1 等大型表演藝術活動 作比較，曙曦認為是不應該這樣思 考：「大家不斷說那幾個活動有幾 千或上萬人參與，好像覺得很滿足 了。但你試試走到旺角街頭，隨便 問一個人，他們未必知道這些活 動。那算是很大的成功嗎？反而有

次深宵在貼街招，碰到幾個也在貼 街招的樂隊小子，跟他們聊起來， 他們知道甚麼是『藝民節』，那 很鼓舞。我想我們要先從圈內人 出發，不要只追求表面的數字。 如果我們自己都不了解藝穗的意 義，只過於急進去追求效果，那 更難讓大眾明白。」

然後才慢慢及至觀眾，靜待花開。 「我時常幻想一個在大街上進行的 遊行，像愛丁堡藝穗節的著名parade （檢閱禮），我們有很多遊行，很 多抗爭。可不可以有一次就是單純 讓藝術自己走上街頭？也是一種溫 柔的抗爭。」其實藝穗節絕不只是 表演節目，也不僅是藝術活動。當 我們拿著地圖與節目單，在城市的 不同角落遊走，鑽入從未到訪過 的空間，在那裡有一群人預備了 一些驚喜，等待著與你分享。我 們看到的，是這些人對這個城市 的想像，是這個時刻，這個城市 跳動的脈搏。

今年觀眾總人數可能未必很多，可 是引發的交流撞擊卻讓人興奮。劇 場、舞蹈、音樂、社運、評論，這 些本就應該充滿對話的一個個圈 圈，終於交疊起來。「大家都認識 到很多新朋友，或多了聊天與互相 觀摩的機會。譬如有些跳舞人的會 發現，咦，原來香港有這位有趣的 音樂人，可能大家下次可以一起創 作，促成一些新的合作。」曙曦認 為先植好種子，讓這些經驗累積，

底，在沒有申請的情況下，幫忙 擺起二手地攤，旁邊還有影像騎 師 (VJ) 和樂隊演奏 (band shows)。 而到來的，既有專門來看樂隊演奏 的外籍人士、香港的音樂人、年輕 人，還有住在附近的街坊拿著大包 小包來二手換物。我看到的是，一 種可能沒有豐厚預算，但是走進社 區的、更沒有邊界的藝術可能。民 間、自由、開放、集體，在城市的 街角裡發生，社區裡人的參與，那 才是真正的遍地開花。 編者按︰《自由野》(Freespace Fest) 於2012年12月在西九龍海濱長廊首次舉 行，是西九文化區管理局與跨界別藝術 家和藝術組織聯合策劃的跨界別藝術 節；《文藝復興》由文興復興基金會創 辦於2012年，是以音樂及電影為主打的 綜合藝術節；Clockenflap由Mike Hill、 Jay Forster 和 Justin Sweeting 於2008年 創立，是每年一度國際音樂節。

人》（實驗版）得以在沒有太大票 房壓力的氛圍下演出，令隊員可 以放心擁抱「嘗試」。我以文藝導 讀(dramateur) 的身份與編舞蔡穎合 作，責任就是以「第三身」去反思 及詰問有關嘗試種種。我這個「第 三身」，是形而下、實實在在的一 個不會現身演出的外人；但對《旅 ‧人》的演出者蔡穎、鄧暢為及林 灒桐而言，「第三身」是參考了高 行健提出表演的三重性的一種探索 ──縱然開始時我們不知道探索的 結果是甚麼。《旅‧人》並不是以 舞台演出為目標而出現的嘗試，我 們只是感到舞者需要新的方法，尋 找在舞台上的「存在」。要簡單地 描述「存在」，敢情是打破基訓做 成的身體慣性，重新思考甚麼是 「演出」，舞者必須真誠地感到自

己是活生生地在舞台現場，並有能 力把這感覺傳遞給觀眾。專業的表 演訓練很多時令舞者在思考該做甚 麼之前，身體便先行一步，根據慣 性而動，展示一種「演出的肢體狀 態」；嘗試衝破這慣性最諷刺之處 是舞者的專業偏偏是要把自己的肢 體「演出」。一般人都不能避免以 軀體作為建構自我的基礎，更何況 是以身體說話的舞者？是否有可能 擺脫自我意識的牽制？ 《旅‧人》團隊在十個月之前開始 以每周一次的工作坊形式，探索在 演出過程中感受及處理現場能量的 方法。我們明白在過程中我們將要 努力克服不安。不安的原因有二： 一是要專業舞者停止、更甚是懷疑 自己身體的所有「自然」動向是對 自我價值的挑戰，二是在這不安全 感的影響下，更進一步要求舞者完 全坦誠地把自我呈現在同台演出者

及觀眾眼前，這實在需要極大的 勇氣和信任。 之二 為甚麼 要知道演員的經驗和觀眾的經驗沒 有等同關係。有能量的演出不能只 是單向地傳遞技巧，演員需不時在 演出過程中放開從內而外（因專業 訓練而形成）的預設演出標準，感 受由其他演員、觀眾反應及空間 改變所產生的現場能量，並與之配 合。這些即時、誠實的能量互換， 令觀眾感到這是個活生生的身體在演 出，而不是技藝的機械化展現。這也 是舞台現場演出令人著迷之處。 中國人說，人心隔肚皮。把自己真心 所想的包裝，不管是部分或全部，不 勉強他人面對自己赤裸的情緒，是種 為他人著想的美德。於是，我們矮化 了誠實，羞於分享，漸漸習慣收藏。 舞台，是坦然面對自己的最後一片淨

之一 是甚麼 幸得有由香港藝穗民化協會發起的 「2012香港藝穗民化節」，《旅‧

土。我們可以用最高超的演技把角 色的每一個細微動作表現，可以用 最靈巧的身體令空間能量騷動，但 若表演者沒有對演出投進自己真實 經驗的對照，他便沒有為自己在舞 台上成就一次轉化，他甘於以一個 技師的身份接受讚賞。 研究表演的日本學者渡邊守彰 提出過「虛構的身體」(Fictive Body)這個概念：「在多數的 日本傳統劇場形式當中，我們 可以很輕易察覺到一個中介 (intermediate)的次元，一個介 於表演者日常生活的身體，與我 們所謂的角色的想像之間的次 元 。 」 1。 對 於 現 代 舞 舞 者 ， 這 概 念可能有特別的重要性。現代舞 演員可能沒有一個具規範性的角 色要「演出」，他們要扮演的既 是生活中的自己也是舞台上在表 演的自己。這種不定性的游弋，

是不可能在二元對立的基礎上建 立的；說「投入角色」也是種目 的性、時限性強烈的行為。我感 到這是種柔和的韌性，從生活到 舞台再回到生活無限的延伸，卻 不會因為過分繃緊而斷裂。 之三 得到甚麼 在走過十個月之後，在《旅‧人》 並不是以舞台演出為目標而出現的 前提下，我們企圖以一台常規演出 去總結一次未有結果的實驗。我們 著重把當下感受放置於演出之中， 卻令作品偏離了舞台呈現應有的結 構及語言。當我們相信真實可以感 動觀眾的同時，忽略了創作人有責 任以有效的手法引導觀眾與演出者 在同一起點出發：例如，我們沒有 利用合適的舞台詞彙解釋三位演出 者的關係；例如，我們自以為是地 合理化了一些符號：鄧暢為演繹蔡 穎對懷孕和死亡的想像，他的男性

身體對觀眾必定會隱喻另一層次的 訊息，但我們未有明確處理；再例 如，我們必須更刻意的帶領觀眾進 入演出者的思考：煮咖啡和收拾行 李，蔡穎從停留到離開的儀式，我 們如何帶動觀眾超越這些生活細節 的日常性？ 演員經驗和觀眾經驗沒有等同關 係，可謂是在這次演出其中一種深 刻體驗。 後語 《旅‧人》將於2013年2月1日在曼 谷大學重演，與帶著文化差異而且 對「來自中國的舞蹈」有預設期望 的觀眾，舞者如何捕捉現場能量， 令自己超越慣性，將會是一次新的 挑戰。 林立竝，《日本戰後小劇場運動當中的 身體與空間》，台北︰國立台北藝術大 學出版，2009年12月。 1

走過成佛之旅還是人── 評《大樂舞者》 文︰馮顯峰

去年12月20日至今年1月7日， 以佛教為背景的佛學動力跨 媒體文化藝術節──《型人佛法》在 賽馬會創意藝術中心的L0藝廊舉行 。《型》除了有珍貴的唐卡繪畫、 裝置、攝影及錄像外，還有一齣主 辦單位稱為香港首齣佛教舞劇── 《大樂舞者》。筆 者 在 香 港 舞 蹈 聯盟的安排下，演出前看過排練 、做過訪問，更欣賞了兩場演出。這 次《大樂舞者》的創作可謂匯聚了各 方能人：創作總監及裝置設計的阿旺 ‧袞噶丹增嘉措寧波車（簡稱：寧波 車）、日籍編舞香港芭蕾舞團的江上 悠，男舞者是動藝的梁家權和妙思舞 動的林偉源，女舞者則是佛教4D舞 台劇場的龍世儀。 非表演者乃參與者 首場演出前的四天，在動藝的排練 室內，正在排練龍的獨舞和林與龍 的雙人舞。基本上舞步也定了，江 上在旁也主要作些微調及提醒。排 練過後，筆者與四人談談這次合作 時，得知這次龍將是四場的女舞伶 ，梁與林皆是龍的舞伴，他們各分 演兩場。（因為兩個組合，筆者共 看了兩場。）江上分享他這次是相 當特別的經驗，因為三位舞者分別 接受芭蕾舞、中國舞及現代舞訓練 ，所以當他提出現一個意念時，舞 者們會給予截然不同的動作，這無 異增加了編舞的可能性。至於舞者 亦說這次的心態並非表演者，而是 參與者︰直接從心出發經歷一場佛 法。這對芭蕾舞而言可能真的是新

鮮嘗試，但是二十世紀的現代舞巨 匠翩娜．包殊便曾說：「我感興趣 的非人如何動，而是人因何而動。 」另外談到寧波車，四人也對這大 師相當尊敬。龍分享提到：由於寧 波車並非舞蹈出身，所以他看排練 時給予的指引並非藝術性：例如方 向角度是否準確，而是提出編舞及 舞者沒想過的感受性意見。最後江 上認為這次最吸引他的是「歷時感 受」(Sense of Time)，即參與這次佛 法旅程裡，舞者與觀眾從開始至結 束的不同感受。 風格各異的痴戀與痛苦 《大樂舞者》中講述度母（龍飾） 與及僧人（梁／林飾）的故事。僧 人要求度母在下世輪迴時轉投男兒 身，但度母卻堅持以女兒身普渡眾 身。然後，觀眾親歷僧人如何歷過

「三千煩惱絲」及「頭腦經文」， 最後達至與度母相同的境界，在極 樂世界起舞。佛法中，「無男亦無 女」可說是整個《型》的主題之 一，展場裡攝影作品都是香港的女 性，與多幅度母唐卡互相輝映。 舞作的首兩段男舞者的獨步均在展 覽中的裝置起舞。第一個裝置「三千 煩惱絲」從空中垂下眾多菲林、膠帶 與紅色繃帶，紅色繃帶象徵五欲「財 色名食睡」。僧人主動地捉住紅色繃 帶，最後把自己捆綁得喘不過氣，要 待十六位持剪刀的觀眾將這些欲求斷 除。之後僧人又主動走進「頭腦經文 」。所謂「頭腦經文」即知性上的佛 經義理，這並非佛陀真實呈現的法理 ，而只是眾生的想像。最後由八位擔 當菩薩的觀眾以米粒和佛偈喚醒沉溺 於其中的僧人。看過梁與林的演出，

兩位舞者分別突顯了僧人兩個面向。 梁在「三千煩惱絲」的裝置下，以臉 上的表情，表現出對五欲的痴戀與沉 溺，而林則強調了被五欲所困的痛苦 ，各有感染觀眾的力量。 這兩幕當中的裝置，可說是不可或 缺。一方面通過裝置的象徵意義， 使觀眾與自身處境聯結。另一方面 觀眾可以通過與這些裝置互動，如 剪斷紅繃帶，使得更加投入整個佛 法旅程之中。演後藝人談的時候， 有觀眾表示舞者被五欲所纏繞時，心 中很想替他除去；又有出去剪斷紅繃 帶的觀眾提到當剪斷的時候，也好像 將自己心中的一些鬱結斷去。 不對位的無伴奏音樂 到舞作的中段，僧人再次遇到度母 ，兩人相隔一條石春路，猶如站在 此世與彼岸。龍把手遮閉眼耳等感 官，這番動作似乎叫人斷除讓人接 觸外境「色聲香味觸法」的六根： 「眼耳鼻舌身意」。梁／林模仿龍 的動作，但當中動作素質帶點猶疑 。龍站在一幅大型唐卡，連串張手

邀請的舞步，猶如叫梁／林鼓起勇 氣走過石春路。不過梁／林走過去 春路時，龍離開了該幕的演區，換 來無伴奏音樂組合HolicK唱出，當 年為南亞海嘯籌款活動《愛心無國 界演藝界大匯演》的主題曲《愛》 。這裡加入無伴奏音樂是為了表現 「佛性本自具足，無須外求。僧人 必須面視眾生，感受和承擔眾生的 需要和痛苦，才能直正證悟」。樂 曲的選擇確讓舞作連繫眾生，而音樂 方式亦確是不用外求（於樂器）。不 過筆者認為完全不用音樂，不是 更徹底地強調這點嗎？舞蹈就如 佛性，只需身體的律動，本自具 足。即使用無伴奏音樂，何以歌 者不是伴著舞者走過石春路，而 是早立於彼岸呢？再加上HolicK 的五位成員身穿黑色西裝，視覺上 亦未能與舞作原有的色調相稱，難 免格格不入。 需要改善的節目安排 筆者觀賞了兩場，但兩場的時間安 排也不同。寧波車會在開始時先講 一番話，當中介紹舞作與展覽裡的

裝置。這樣介紹確令筆者與觀眾更 能投入作品的歷程。筆者看的第二 場，寧波車要求觀眾觀賞演出後必 須出席藝人談，否則不用看演出。 筆者亦明白演後的交流，確能讓觀 眾也參與在這個佛法旅程之中。不 過，當聽過一番話再加上讓觀眾先 看一次展覽的作品後，已是原訂開 始時間後一小時，才開始一小時的 《大樂舞者》。之後，還需要參與 超過半小時的演後藝人談，這實在 讓筆者的時間失了預算。加上在演 後藝人談裡，主要是觀眾和寧波車 的對答，表演者和觀眾的分享反而 不多。也許，在宣傳品及接待處加 上節目的時間安排將會更好。 另外，寧波車在60分鐘的演出中，不 停地以旁白的方式講解又是否必要呢 ？單憑演前的講話及場刊的介紹，其 實已足以感受這佛法旅程。寧波車的 「聲音導航」會否使《大樂舞者》成 了「頭腦經文」之舞呢？僧人最終得 道成佛，但演出後，舞者和觀眾還是 人。筆者寫下的這篇文章，又會否仍 陷在「頭腦經文」當中呢？

Two

very interesting sitespecific dance works were performed in Hong Kong during the past November and December.

One, Shen Wei Dance Arts’ Illuminate, had a cast of more than 17 and was performed in a large public space with lots of sets whereas the other, IVY Theatre’s Quan Quan II, only had 2 dancers and was performed at a bookshop cum café.

Illuminate Shen Wei is no stranger to Hong Kong audiences, his previous works, Near the Terrace, Rite of Spring, and ReTriptych all left great impressions on local audiences with their unique dreamlike aesthetics. At the New Vision Arts Festival 2012, Shen Wei and his company brought a double bill: Limited States and Illuminate, as the closing program for the Festival.

Both dances were conceived and choreographed by Shen Wei. The former was a modified version of a work of the same title that was premièred at the American Dance Festival 2011, while the later was a world première commissioned by the New Vision Arts Festival.

Illuminate used the foyer of the Hong

Kong Cultural Centre (HKCC) as its performing area.

Illuminate was an ambitious work that began with the dancers scattered a r o u n d t h e f o y e r. S o m e s p r e a d colorful paint on the floor with their limbs and bodies, while others splashed paint on a large side ramp or within a large transparent box filled with balls. There were also: a round space with hair, a rectangular space with elastic bands mounted over its surface, and a pond filled with rubber instead of water, where dancers interacted with these objects during the last part of the performance.

If we look at Illuminate as an independent work in an empty space, it is no doubt an inspiring yet poetic piece of dance. The dancers were very focused and built interest as they expressed themselves through interacting with projected images, paint, and objects in the set.

However, as a site-specific work made for that particular indoor open space, Illuminate was disappointing.

During the pre-performance talk, Shen Wei cited one of the reasons he chose the HKCC foyer for his new work was because, from his point of view, it has some architectural similarities with New York’s Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. The central foyer of the HKCC reminded him of the atrium of the Guggenheim where his company had performed in 2009, with the audience lined along the famous spiral ramp. The HKCC with its different levels going up and around overlooking the foyer, he thought, could also be a good place for audiences to view performance.

between the dancers’ movement and the features of the space; the choreography has the opportunity to focus on the physical, historical, or other characteristics of a place.

However, in Illuminate, the foyer was treated as an empty space and, except for making use of the small pond, the space was given no further consideration. The ramp, the boxes, and even the stickers used to mark the floor had almost nothing to do with the original architectural features of the HKCC foyer. One may argue that the foyer is indeed a very neutral space without many distinctive features, but how about the staircases? Or even something related to its history? I can still v i v i d l y r e m e m b e r H e l e n L a i ’s choreography for the site-specific Summer Solstice performed by CCDC at the HKCC plaza 10 years ago and the work’s dialogue with the history of the space, which was once a train station.

dynamic potential for audiences that the ascending/descending spiral ramp of the Guggenheim has. First of all, for Illuminate, one was restricted to a certain level due to the price of one’s ticket and most of the audience stood in one spot, without moving around, making it difficult for those who did to view the dance from different angles. The restriction of the audience’s movement, either by design (ticket price) or habit (passivity) certainly does not favor site-specific work, which at its best gets the audience moving along with it, following the dancers and traveling through the space.

satisfying experience if you enjoy more interactive site-specific dance.

leaving Tsui alone in the store. In the final part, they came back together indoors and interacted with the audience within the store and with people enjoying their meals in the café section.

Choreographed by Ivy Tsui and performed by her with Grace Yuen, the dancers moved between bookshelves and tables within the Kubrick bookshop cum café, as well as running around the open area outside the store. The piece started with the performers interacting with the books - flapping the covers like a bird flying or reading aloud randomly selected passages. This was followed by movements choreographed and improvised based on the bookshop setting, such as a finger dance at the cash register and crawling, jumping,

I missed the first Quan Quan production, performed at the Kubrick stores in Beijing and Hong Kong in fall 2011. The video uploaded to the Web, however, shows similarities in the two versions. Nevertheless, the 2011 version was a solo danced by Tsui, while emerging theatre actress Grace Yuen joined her in Quan Quan II and both gave impressive performances in this intimate setting.

video. Her works do not consist of complicated movement but are always lively, which different audiences can easily relate to.

A l t h o u g h Yu e n i s n o t a t r a i n e d dancer, she is strong performer.

Her movements with Tsui are full of charm and liveliness. When the two are separated, Tusi inside and Yuen outdoors, Yuen‘s desperation is palpable even though we view it from inside the store; when they do come together, it creates an emotionally loaded moment.

There was no announcement signaling the start of the performance or none during the performance. Echoing the

calmness of the store, the dancers simply began calmly moving next to readers by the bookshelves. This inconspicuous opening lent a sense that we had happened upon two happy little girls wandering around a world of books, losing track of each other, then finding each other again, sharing their love at the end. The “II” in the title might be interpreted as part two of the previous version or could also be seen as two “I”s, two identical persons, a journey of finding a loved one, or finding oneself.

Near the end of the piece, the audience was invited to send a kiss to a cup handed out by the dancers providing a wonderful interactive opportunity

for everyone to be a part of the performance, something I think a good site-specific work should always have.

Quan Quan II, was a program of the 1st Hong Kong People’s Fringe Festival and it demonstrated the possibilities of exploring interesting space through dance, even without a huge budget.

Support from venues is always key to the creation of site-specific work and the HKCC and Kubrick should be congratulated for allowing their spaces to provide the enormous support for the creation of these dance works.

It is hoped that their example will encourage more fascinating dances to be performed in different parts of the city, and not just on the theatre stage.

邁步生活，圈出舞台── 淺談取材生活的《圈圈II》及《鞋子》

《圈圈II》

是年青編舞 徐奕婕再度 重臨Kubrick書店創作環境舞蹈，第 二次演出多了舞台劇演員阮煒楹參 與，演出長度也比《圈圈》長。這 是「香港藝穗民化節2012」節目之 一，由於媒體廣泛的報導，加上電 影中心週末的常客，小小的書店內 擠滿了人。環境舞蹈，就是以四周 環境的原素創作，人是其一。書店 內咖啡廳與書架的位置形成兩個不 同的演區，觀眾就分別坐著、站著 或四處走動。這些不同組合的觀眾 就成為演出者手到拿來的素材。

身穿便服的演出者隱身書架中，像 是隨意翻動書本，不知就裡埋首書 堆的客人也成為眾人焦點，化成演 出的一部分。有趣的是在擠滿了人 的環境中，人卻是逃走無門。這情 況同樣發生在後段，舞者以杯子收 集親吻，一直專心用餐的食客，面 對這兩個從天而降的小靈精，不獻 吻不成，也成就了整個演出，被圈 進了舞台之中。 兩個舞者的打扮可以說是精靈，也 可以說是兩個小孩子玩遊戲，只有 小孩子才可以隨時隨地把四周環境

化成表演舞台。《崖上的波兒》一 段發生於收銀處後的高台，就像一 個山崖，小女孩於是化身魚兒暢游 書海中。書本也許是現在的小孩子 將來的回憶，而手工紙就是現在很 多成年人的回憶，不同顏色的手工 紙代表不同的物事，如黑色是天鵝， 粉紅色是白海豚，但對於不同的人卻 有不同的意義。書本對於不同的人也 有不同的聯想，有人想起令人頭痛的 數學公式，有人憶起甜美的詩句。 演出中段，一個舞者推門出去了，卻 很少觀眾跟著出去一同感受外面的寒

風與陽光，仍專注於室內舞者的影 蹤，就如生命中一些東西消失了，我 們卻只專注眼前的物事。也許演出沒 有謝幕更好，就像日常生活，美好而 有趣的事悄悄地發生了，也無聲無色 地結束，像發了一場夢。 對比於《圈圈II》的隨心寫意，《鞋 子》是一個刻意經營、籌備經年的演 出。這是編舞以鞋為題的第三個作 品，看來還會有第四個和第五個。一 步一步走來，走了這麼多年，也許將 來行內人一提到鞋子，也自然會想起 編舞鄺麗彥，創作人的心血就像磨損 的鞋底，有目共睹。 鞋是舊鞋，因為有人穿過，就有不 同的故事。即使是新鞋，也能有豐 富多姿的意象，看創作人的想像力 而定。全劇意象豐富，然而令筆者 印象最深的是《小孩子，女孩子》 一段，舞者把數十對嬰兒鞋藏於小 腹前，最後散滿一地，有開枝散葉 之意。對於為人母的觀眾，更會忘 不了小嬰兒因快速長大而不得不捨 棄的一對對小鞋子。演出一再出現 試穿鞋的片段，讓人聯想到灰姑娘 的故事。男士為女士穿鞋，也是生 命操控的權力表現──為鞋子找到合 穿的主人，此生就跟著一起走。一男 一女把不同的鞋子硬套上對方的腳， 也可詮釋為婚姻關係中的男女角力。 最末一場，工作人員把幾個擺滿鞋子的 架推入劇場，一下子大家還未意會那是 觀眾自己的鞋子，認不出自己的鞋子， 我們對自己的人生又有多了解？ 兩個年青編舞都是從生活中取材， 先不說因場地限制而表現形式上的 不同，演出本身也反映了創作人的 風格。《鞋子》匠心獨韻，處處表 現出機智與幽默，筆者卻期待看到 編舞本身跟鞋子的感情事，《鞋 子》好看卻不算感動。《圈圈II》的 不經意同就地取材，令整個結構不

嚴謹，卻因這種鬆散，觀眾在參與 過程中不只是看，反而要用心去感 受，這也是演出感人的地方。
