香港芭蕾舞團（港芭）：為何選擇《睡美人》作為這 次全新製作？你於 2000 年代初與維辛諾娃合作 的版本，至今仍令不少觀眾難忘。是甚麼讓你覺 得現在是重新探索這部芭蕾經典的最佳時機？ 我選擇《睡美人》，是因為港芭看過我的製作 後，認為這部作品不但適合香港觀眾，同時亦 能為舞團舞蹈員帶來寶貴經驗。2023 年為港芭 排演《舞姬》並與舞團合作，是一次非常美好的 經歷，因此再次為港芭打造新製作，可說是順 理成章。這次製作源自我原有的版本，但我加入 了一些細節上的新元素，希望為香港觀眾帶來 驚喜！
除了全新的佈景與服裝設計外，在編舞或整體 舞台呈現方面，有哪些特別值得留意的新元素？ 有很多：一些細微的改動、小巧思，以及全新角色 的加入，都會為這個製作注入新的生命力。此外， 能再次與我多年來合作無間的佈景及服裝設計 師祖迪．洛攜手合作，亦令這個製作更具價值。
可否分享一下，甚麼最能概括你對這次新製作 的願景？
《睡美人》是一部充滿情感與優雅氣質的芭蕾 作品，當中凝聚了所有美好的事物：柴可夫斯基 的音樂、扣人心弦的故事，以及人們對希望與 夢想的追求。
紐瑞耶夫曾形容《睡美人》是「芭蕾中的芭蕾」。 你是否認同這個說法？ 絕對認同。這是一部精采絕倫的芭蕾作品，擁 有一流的樂譜與美妙的場景，既高貴典雅，同 時玩味十足，是我最喜愛的芭蕾舞劇之一。
你將於這次製作中飾演卡拉波斯你如何演繹這 個角色？
能夠再次以自己的製作重返舞台，我感到非常 高興！卡拉波斯一直是我非常喜愛的角色。我多 年未有演過這個角色，相信無論情感還是感受， 都會與過往有所不同。我會全情投入這次演出， 同時亦會加入一些即興趣味。對我而言，沒有甚 麼比站在舞台上更令人快樂，尤其是在香港！
你希望香港觀眾在這次新製作中特別留意甚麼？ 我！哈哈哈！
The King and Queen’s fondest wish has been fulfilled: The Queen gave birth to a baby girl and named her Aurora. To celebrate the newborn child, there will be a grand feast. Six fairies give Princess Aurora their blessings to help her as she grows up. The fairy Carabosse appears late, because Catalabutte, the master of ceremonies, forgot to invite her. Carabosse gives Aurora a curse: she will prick her finger and die an early death. Fortunately, the Lilac Fairy is able to change the curse, so that instead of dying, Aurora will fall into a deep sleep for a hundred years.
國王與王后最大的願望，就是誕下一位公主。
兩人終於夢想成真，王后為公主取名愛麗娜。
為慶祝公主出生，王室將舉行盛大慶典。六位 仙子到場，祝賀公主平安誕生。仙子卡拉波斯 雖然最遲到場，但大典主禮人加德里弼本來就 忘記邀請她出席。卡拉波斯向愛麗娜下咒，她 將刺破手指，活不過成年。幸好紫丁香仙子能 夠改變詛咒，令愛麗娜不至殞命，但代價是陷 入長眠一百年。
Princess Aurora is now celebrating her birthday as a young woman, and her parents have invited four princes, who all ask for Aurora’s hand in marriage, but she refuses all of them. Then Carabosse approaches her in disguise and presents her with one of the most beautiful roses Aurora has ever seen. As she reaches for the rose, she pricks her finger on a thorn and falls down, seemingly dead. However, the Lilac Fairy‘s promise turns Aurora‘s death into a hundred-year sleep for both the princess and the entire royal household. Everyone is protected by an enormous, impenetrable thorny hedge of roses that grows up around the castle.

When the hundred years have passed, the Lilac Fairy searches for a young prince to release Aurora from her curse. She finds Prince Désiré in a bewitched part of the forest, where the fairies mischievously play with him. The Lilac Fairy conjures up a vision of the sleeping beauty for him, and driven by love, Prince Désiré follows the fairy through the rosehedge to the sleeping Aurora. His true love‘s kiss awakens the princess, and the whole court starts to come back to life.
一百年過去，紫丁香仙子四處訪尋一位年輕王 子，能將愛麗娜從沉睡中喚醒。她在幻境森林 遇上被其他仙子戲弄的迪塞爾王子，深信他便 是能拯救公主之人。紫丁香仙子製造睡美人幻 象，令迪塞爾王子墮入愛河。王子跟隨仙子來 到玫瑰叢，親吻公主並將咒語解除，王室成員 亦相繼醒來。

The King and Queen host an elaborate wedding feast for Princess Aurora and Prince Désiré. The court joyfully pays homage to the young couple with vibrant divertissements, as sparkling gemstones and classic fairytale figures dance together in celebration of the newlyweds. Apotheosis.

Born in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine, Vladimir Malakhov was Artistic Director of Berlin State Ballet from its founding in 2004 until 2014. A former American Ballet Theatre principal dancer, his repertory encompasses a wide range of styles from classical ballets to contemporary works. In 1999, Malakhov staged La Bayadère for Vienna State Ballet, followed by Cinderella in 2004 and The Sleeping Beauty in 2005 for Berlin State Ballet. He choreographed La Péri and La Bayadère for Berlin State Ballet in 2010 and 2002 respectively. Named Japan Dance Magazine’s Best Male Dancer In The World for 10 consecutive years, Malakhov’s accolades also include prestigious awards at competitions in Varna, Moscow and Paris. Malakhov is currently the Professor of Beijing Dance Academy.

Principal Dancer, Bolshoi Ballet

Born in Moscow, Elizaveta Kokoreva graduated from Moscow State Academy of Choreography in 2019 and joined the Bolshoi Ballet. In 2022, she was promoted to leading soloist and then became the Bolshoi’s youngestever principal dancer in 2023 at age 22. Her diverse classical and contemporary repertoire includes major roles like Giselle, Juliet, Kitri, Marie in The Nutcracker, Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty, Faun by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Come un Respiro by Mauro Bigonzetti and Anna Pavlova by Pavel Glukhov. As a student, Kokoreva won the Moscow Art Theatre Award and major awards at Young Talents of Russia, the Grand Prix of Siberia and the Moscow International Competition of Ballet Dancers and Choreographers. She recently received the 2026 Soul of Dance Award.

Principal Dancer, National Ballet of Canada 加拿大國家芭蕾舞團首席 Hong Kong-born Tirion Law studied at Hong Kong Youth Ballet Academy and the New Zealand School of Dance. She danced with Hong Kong Ballet for three years before joining National Ballet of Canada in 2018, where she became Second Soloist in 2022 and Principal Dancer in 2024.
Her repertoire includes lead roles in Romeo and Juliet, Giselle, Swan Lake and Alice in Wonderland, among others. Tirion won two gold medals at the 2010 Star Award Competition in Hong Kong and won the 2012 Asian Grand Prix. She also received the 2022 Patron Award of Merit and the 2023 Rolex Award.

Dutch National Ballet principal dancer Maia Makhateli has performed all the classical ballet principal roles in leading theatres of the world, along with performances in modern choreographic productions. A recipient of the prestigious Alexandra Radius Award in 2015, she also won the Nina Ananiashvili and Gilbert Albert Award in 2011. A world-renowned ballerina, Makhateli has performed José Carlos Martínez’s Le Corsaire (Slovenian National Theatre), Benjamin Pech’s Swan Lake (Rome Opera) and Eleonora Abbagnato’s Giselle (Teatro Lirico). Recently she debuted in the title roles in the world premieres of Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s Frida Kahlo and Rachel Beaujean’s Raymonda (Dutch National Ballet) and debuted Nikiya in Benjamin Pech’s La Bayadère (Roma Opera).

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Davi Ramos began ballet at 13, training at Lyceu Escola de Dança. He was a 2016 Prix de Lausanne semi-finalist and received a scholarship to The Royal Ballet School.
Upon graduation, he joined the Dutch National Ballet Junior Company in 2019 and was promoted annually, reaching Grand Sujet in 2023. In 2024, he joined The Australian Ballet as a Soloist, became First Soloist later that year and was promoted to Principal Artist in May 2026. Born in Italy, Alessandra Pasquali performed with Vienna State Opera Ballet from 1993 to 2005, including in numerous New Year concerts televised worldwide. In 2005, she joined Berlin State Opera Ballet under the direction of Vladimir Malakhov, who promoted her to Ballet Mistress in 2011. Today, she is a freelance guest teacher at The Royal Ballet, La Scala di Milano, Balletto dell´Opera di Roma, Vienna State Opera Ballet, Zürich Ballett, Netherlands Dans Theater, Stuttgart Ballett, Czech National Ballet, Ballet Du Capitole, Slovakian National Ballet, Norwegian National Ballet, Slovenian National Ballet, Aterballetto, San Carlo di Napoliand. She has also staged several ballets for David Dawson, Renato Zanella and Giorgio Madia.

Jordi Roig is a set and costume designer born in Lleida, Spain. He studied at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona under the guidance of Fabià Puigserver. His artistic development was further shaped by the mentorship of Ezio Frigerio. Since then, he has created sets and costumes for a wide repertoire, collaborating with artists such as Rudolf Nureyev, Marcia Haydée, Vladimir Malakhov, Heinz Spoerli, Manuel Legris, Denis Matvienko and Edward Clug, and with companies and theatres including Stuttgart Ballet, Wiener Staatsoper, Semperoper Dresden, Staatsballet Berlin, Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, among many others.
He was awarded the prestigious Petipa Heritage Fund Award for his contribution to dance.

The Petipa Heritage Foundation is honoured to present the Petipa Award to Jordi Roig at HKB’s The Sleeping Beauty opening night for his outstanding contribution to the visual language of ballet. Jordi’s visionary artistry has profoundly enriched the stage, notably through his evocative set and costume designs for Terence Kohler’s The Nutcracker (2015), Malakhov’s La Bayadère (2023) and The Sleeping Beauty (2026) with Hong Kong Ballet, where his refined aesthetic brought depth, elegance, and dramatic clarity to these beloved classics.
This distinguished honour places him alongside legendary artists like Hans Van Manen, Marcia Haydée, Marianela Núñez, Vadim Muntagirov and Élisabeth Platel.

Born in the Spanish Pyrenees in Spain, Enrique Conde Martinez spent his childhood and adolescence drawing in a rural setting among the scenic mountains. When he was 17 years old, he studied painting and sculpture in Barcelona and has since worked as an illustrator, painter and sculptor. He has creatively collaborated with the set design workshops of several prominent opera houses across Europe, and The Sleeping Beauty marks a welcome return to both Hong Kong Ballet and the Asia region. 安尼基．康泰．馬天尼斯生於西班牙 庇里牛斯山脈，在群山環抱的鄉郊環 境中度過他的童年和青少年時期，並 自幼醉心繪畫。17 歲時，他前往巴塞 隆拿學習繪畫及雕塑，學成後便從 事插畫、繪畫及雕塑創作。他與歐 洲各地著名歌劇院的舞台設計工場 合作無間。是次《睡美人》演出是 他再度與港芭合作，標誌了他和舞 團與亞洲地區的愉快關係。

Jacopo Pantani has worked as a lighting designer in some of the world’s leading theatres, including Sydney Opera House with Giancarlo del Monaco for Luisa Miller, NCPA (Beijing) with del Monaco for L’Italiana in Algeri, Royal Opera House for Histoire de Manon, Opéra Garnier for Mayerling and Histoire de Manon, Teatro Massimo of Palermo for Le Corsaire, Berlin Staatsballet for The Sleeping Beauty and New Mariinsky Theatre for Carmina Burana He studied set design at the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence and worked with the great set designer Ezio Frigerio for many opera and ballet productions at The Astana Opera House, Kazakhstan.

Robert Reimer is a highly versatile German conductor active on major opera stages and in leading concert halls across Europe. He is the founder and Artistic Director of the Anton Bruckner Festival Berlin, where he has led a multiyear Bruckner cycle. He debuted at the Vienna State Opera in 2021 with the Vienna Philharmonic and has returned every season since. Recent highlights include his debut at Vienna Volksoper, Bruckner’s Symphony No. 9 and Te Deum at Malmö Opera, and his debut with the Komische Oper Berlin Orchestra. Reimer has appeared at leading houses, including Bavarian State Opera, Berlin State Opera, and Liceu Barcelona, and works regularly with major international orchestras.

Based in Rimini, Italy, Enrico Pazzagli is a freelance video designer specialising in graphic and multimedia content for theatre productions, live events, museums and exhibitions. He approaches his work like a craftsman — shaping light, surfaces and materials through video projection and technology. After training at Ideogamma S.r.l. under video designer Sergio Metalli, Pazzagli has collaborated on opera and theatre productions with renowned directors and set designers. He has worked independently since 2018 and has developed interactive and multimedia experiences and managed ICT projects for cultural institutions and festivals worldwide.

The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HK Phil) is regarded as one of the leading orchestras in Asia. Collaborating with internationally renowned conductors and soloists, the orchestra presents more than 150 concerts annually, attracting more than 200,000 music lovers. The HK Phil promotes the work of Hong Kong and Chinese composers, commissions new works, nurtures local talent and runs extensive education and community programmes. Tarmo Peltokoski is the HK Phil’s Music Director Designate in 2025/26 and will become Music Director in the 2026/27 season. Currently, Long Yu serves as Principal Guest Conductor and Lio Kuokman is Resident Conductor. EsaPekka Salonen is Composer-in-Residence.
The HK Phil has flourished in the last two decades under Jaap van Zweden (Music Director, 2012–2024) and Edo de Waart (Artistic Director and Chief Conductor, 2004–2012).
In 2019, the HK Phil won the prestigious Gramophone ’s Orchestra of the Year Award — the first orchestra in Asia to receive this accolade from the UK classical music magazine. Notable recent recording projects include Wagner’s complete Ring Cycle, Mahler’s Symphony no. 10, Shostakovich’s Symphony no. 10, and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony no. 6 and Piano Concerto no. 1. The HK Phil collaborates with Deutsche Grammophon and releases Wagner’s The Ring: An Orchestral Adventure, arranged by Henk de Vlieger and conducted by Tarmo Peltokoski.
The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra is financially supported by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and is a Venue Partner of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. Swire is the Principal Patron of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.
香港管弦樂團（港樂）獲譽為亞洲最頂尖的 管弦樂團之一。樂團從世界各地邀請指揮和 演奏家合作，每年演出超過 150 場音樂會，把 音樂帶給超過 20 萬名觀眾。港樂積極推廣華 裔作曲家的作品，更委約新作，亦培育本地 新秀，並推行廣泛而全面的教育及社區推廣 計劃，致力將音樂帶到不同場所。貝托祺於 2025/26 樂季擔任港樂候任音樂總監，並於 2026/27 樂季起出任港樂音樂總監。余隆由 2015/16 樂季開始擔任首席客席指揮。廖國 敏於 2020 年 12 月正式擔任駐團指揮。沙羅倫 於 2025/26 樂季擔任駐團作曲家。
過去二十年，港樂在音樂總監梵志登（ 2012–2024 ）和藝術總監兼總指揮艾度．迪華特 （ 2004–2012 ）帶領下屢創高峰。2019 年港 樂榮獲英國著名古典音樂雜誌《留聲機》年 度管弦樂團大獎，成為亞洲首個獲此殊榮的樂 團。近年灌錄的專輯包括華格納全套《指環》 歌劇四部曲、馬勒第十交響曲、蕭斯達高維契 第十交響曲，以及柴可夫斯基第六交響曲和第 一鋼琴協奏曲。樂團與德意志留聲機合作，發 行由貝托祺指揮華格納（夫利格改編）的《指 環》：管弦樂冒險。

香港芭蕾舞團
Hong Kong Ballet (HKB) is recognised internationally as a world-class institution that represents Hong Kong’s unique character. Since its inception in 1979, HKB has evolved into a vibrant performing arts organisation with a dynamic repertoire, forward-thinking community engagement initiatives and an emphasis on excellence.
Comprised of 50 dancers from all over the globe – Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland and other parts of Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and North America, HKB has won recognition both regionally and internationally with celebrated re-stagings of the classics, neoclassical masterworks by George Balanchine and others and original ballets created for HKB and about Hong Kong. Additionally, HKB performs works by its Artistic Director Septime Webre and some of today’s most sought-after choreographers, including Alexei Ratmansky, Christopher Wheeldon, Wayne McGregor, Justin Peck, Jiří Kylian, Nacho Duato and Annabelle Lopez Ochoa as well as innovative new works by its Choreographer-in-Residence, Hu Song Wei Ricky, and numerous emerging Hong Kong choreographers.
HKB stands out as a dynamic Hong Kong cultural ambassador, sharing its unique repertoire and style with audiences in Europe, North America, Chinese Mainland and Asia. With over 50 international tours since its founding, recently HKB performed or was presented immersive works in Macau, Venice, New York, London, Seoul and Shanghai. HKB maintains the Hong Kong Academy of Ballet, a professionallyoriented ballet school, as well as a full schedule of award-winning community programmes and crossover collaborations throughout Hong Kong to ensure ballet is accessible to all. HKB has also produced engaging original videos and dance films that have collectively garnered over 10 million views online, connecting with ballet lovers worldwide.
香港芭蕾舞團（港芭）以富香港獨 有魅力、非凡作品及超卓演繹享譽 國際。自 1979 年以來港芭不斷演 變，現已成為一個朝氣蓬勃的藝 團，着重卓越的品質，擁有豐富的 劇目及具前瞻性的社區拓展計劃。

港芭不斷發展，是香港的文化大 使，積極到海外巡演，由成立至今 超過五十次。近年港芭在不同的城 市獲邀演出和參與製作，包括澳 門、威尼斯、紐約、倫敦、首爾和上 海，並代表香港成為中國內地及西 方的重要文化藝術據點。港芭附屬 的香港芭蕾舞學院是一所專門培訓 專業舞者的港芭附屬芭蕾舞學院， 主要提供專業芭蕾舞教育工作。此 外，港芭亦在全港各地舉辦一系列 屢獲殊榮的社區活動及跨界合作 演出，務求將芭蕾舞普及化。港芭 又製作了多部原創錄像及舞蹈影 片於不同網上平台播放，累積逾千 萬觀看次數，連繫世界各地的芭蕾 舞愛好者。

香港芭蕾舞團藝術總監
Septime Webre is an internationally recognised ballet director, choreographer, educator and advocate. He joined Hong Kong Ballet as its Artistic Director in July 2017 after 17 years as Artistic Director of The Washington Ballet in Washington DC, US. Previously he served as Artistic Director of the American Repertory Ballet, based in Princeton, New Jersey, US for six years. In addition, Webre has served as the Artistic Director of Halcyon, a Washington DC-based foundation standing at the intersection of creativity and social impact.
Webre’s tenure at The Washington Ballet ushered in a period of unprecedented growth in the quality and breadth of its work-both onstage and in its engagement and educational initiatives, with its annual budget growing over 500% during that time. In Hong Kong, Webre recently staged a pair of new productions for HKB: a Romeo+ Juliet set in the early 1960’s Hong Kong, and The Nutcracker set in Hong Kong in the early 20th century. In addition, he has staged a number of productions for HKB, including new productions of Giselle , ALICE (in wonderland) , Sam and Her Amazing Book of Dinosaurs , The Great Gatsby , The Wizard of Oz , Cinderella and Peter Pan
As a dancer, Webre was featured in solo and principal roles from the classical repertoire as well as in contemporary works by choreographers such as Twyla Tharp, Paul Taylor and Merce Cunningham. He has served on the juries of a number of international ballet competitions, including those in Varna, Bulgaria, Istanbul, Cape Town, New York, Seoul, and elsewhere. He has served on the board of Dance/USA and his work has received numerous honors, grants and awards. He holds a degree in History/Pre-Law from the University of Texas at Austin, and is the seventh son in a large, boisterous Cuban-American family.
衛承天是國際著名芭蕾舞團總 監、編舞家、教育家及倡導者。他 曾出任華盛頓芭蕾舞團藝術總監 達 17 年，亦曾任美國新澤西普林 斯頓美國經典芭蕾舞團藝術總監， 並於 2017 年 7 月加入香港芭蕾舞團 （港芭）擔任藝術總監。他曾是美 國華盛頓一基金會 Halcyon 的藝術 總監，其宗旨為透過創意推動文創 發展，同時為社會帶來正面影響。
衛承天在任華盛頓芭蕾舞團期間， 舞團預算大增 500%，並在舞台製 作的規模和質素、專業舞蹈教學 等多個範疇上獲得前所未有的提 升。他近年為港芭全新創作包括： 以 1960 年代香港作背景的《羅密 歐+茱麗葉》和以 20 世紀初香港 作背景的《胡桃夾子》。衛承天亦 曾為港芭製作《吉賽爾》、《愛麗 絲夢遊仙境》、《心兒與她的奇幻 恐龍書》、《大亨小傳》、《綠野仙 蹤》、《仙履奇緣》和《小飛俠》等 多個劇目。
作為一位舞者，衛承天曾擔任多齣 古典舞劇的主角及獨舞，並曾出演 夏普、泰勒及肯寧漢等編舞家的當 代作品。他也曾任瓦爾納、保加利 亞、伊斯坦堡、開普敦、紐約、首 爾等地多個國際芭蕾舞比賽的評 審。他曾任「舞蹈/美國」的董事 局成員，其作品更獲得多項榮譽、 資助及獎項。他持有奧斯汀德薩 斯大學的歷史/法律學士學位，在 一個熱鬧的古巴裔美國大家庭中 排行第七。

Our creative, athletic dancers have a demanding schedule of up to eight hours of intense classes and rehearsals each day. The Dancers’ Sponsorship Fund develops and supports their talent, dedication and drive through regular physiotherapy sessions, new pointe shoes and artistic exchanges to further their education and training. Your participation will ensure the professional and artistic growth of Hong Kong Ballet’s dancers and tomorrow’s rising stars.
