The 15th issue of Gifted Gateway has been released with contents covering the New Measures of Programme Subsidy Scheme, and the Forthcoming Student Programmes and Events in September to November 2019. We hope this quarterly e-newsletter can facilitate student members’ applications for our programmes.
New Measures of Programme Subsidy Scheme Starting from 2019/20, subsidised programmes will be broadened to cover more face-to-face and online prograrmmes in sciences, technology, mathematics and humanities subjects. The subsidy amount will be raised to 50% of the tuition fee or $2,500 (whichever is lower1). New measures will be applicable to all subsidised prograrmmes which begin from 1 September 2019. Under the new measures, student member must apply for a quota before the programme begins. The quota is limited and on a first-come-first-served basis. # Only conditional offers are given to successful applications of this season’s programmes/activities. Students can continue to study only when their HKAGE membership is still valid when the programmes commence. If applicants’ HKAGE memberships are ceased, the offers to the programmes will automatically be forfeited.
