All adverts are accepted by Konect on the understanding that they are copyright free. This includes any images, logos, photos, trade logos, clip art or any other content that is used in the advert. It is the advertiser’s responsibility to acquire any necessary permissions for the use of any images, logos, photos, trade logos, clip art or any other content that is used in their advert/editorial/article/any other content. It is the advertiser’s responsibility to check the advert and ensure that it is correct at copy approval stage. No responsibility will be taken by Konect for any errors identified after copy approval. Any logos/images/photos supplied should be a minimum of 300dpi (dpi = dots per inch). No responsibility can be taken for the print quality of any image/logo/photo supplied at a lower resolution. Any adverts supplied in .jpeg, .pdf or any other pre-prepared format will be inserted into Konect as supplied and will be assumed not to require copy approval. These files should be supplied at a minimum of 300dpi. No responsibility can be taken for the print quality of any advert supplied at a lower resolution. These files may be re-sized to fit the appropriate space. Any advert/editorial/article/design which Konect has created cannot be used in another publication or advertising medium (e.g. website) without the written approval of Konect. A fee will be payable to Konect if an advertiser wishes to re-use an advert/ editorial/article/design in this way.

Konect reserves the right to refuse/edit advertisements at our discretion. Full payment is required by the due date on the invoice to ensure publication of the advert. Any adverts for which payment has not been received will not be published. Late or non-payment of invoices is pursued according to statutory procedures. Once an advertising package has been confirmed, either by confirmation telephone call, e-mail or letter, no refunds can be given if the advertiser subsequently decides that they wish to cancel the advertising package after the bookihg deadline. Long-term advertising packages are invoiced at a discounted rate. If the advertiser needs to cancel the advertisement before the end of the package, Konect will invoice the months taken at the non-discounted rate. It is the advertiser’s responsibility to inform Konect if they wish to stop running their advert. Notification of cancellation must be received by the copy deadline date. Konect gives no guarantee of the level of response to adverts/editorial/articles etc. Konect is unable to offer a refund if no responses are received. Do I need to provide my own advert? You can provide your own artwork if you want, please refer to our advertisement dimensions overleaf. Please send in either pdf or jpeg format at resolution no less than 300dpi. Should you require further, please do not hesitate to contact us. Alternatively we can design your advertisement for you for a small fee. We’ll discuss your requirements with you, design the advertisement and send you a proof for approval before it goes to print. How do I pay? Once your booking is confirmed, we’ll send an invoice by email. We accept payment by credit card, debit card, BACS transfer, Direct Debit or cheque (see below). When is Konect distributed? Konect is distributed at the end of the month prior to publication date e.g. the August issue is distributed at the end of July. In some areas distribution carries over into the beginning of the month of publication. Can you print an article on my business? At the editor’s discretion some space may be available for business-specific articles as part of your advertising package. A fee is payable. Can you deliver leaflets for us with the magazine? We offer a leaflet printing and delivery service. Distribution of leaflets with Konect starts at £50 + VAT per 1,000. Please contact us for a printing quote and to discuss your leafleting needs.
How is Konect distributed? We have a team of local distributors who deliver the magazines door to door each month. They are out it all weathers to get it out as quickly as possible once it is back from print. Can you help promote my business online? Yes we can help promote your business via our social media channels. We can signpost and advise you on specialist online marketing companies (website designers, social media marketers)
