SUSTAINABILITY

Long time before starting production of the new series, Kusch+Co analizyed the possible environmental impact of the production processes and components to be used. For Kusch+Co sustainability as is a realistic, manageable and economically viable combination of environmental protection, economics and CSR. Not only in production, but also in the communication with our employees and partners. We are aware of evironment impact of our activities, and we are working to to reduce or neutralise it for future generations. We set company goals and account for them in our regularly published Sustanability Report. In order to guarantee conistently high product quality, Kusch+Co is certified in accordance with the quality management system DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and the environmental management system DIN EN ISO 14001:2015. All wood products originate from sustainable, legal and verified sources. Kusch+Co GmbH realises the need to limit CO2 emissions by making decarbonisation one of the strategic goals in its business strategy. We have been calculating our carbon footprint since 2021 in line with the requirements defined in the ISO 14064-1 norm and the GHG Protocol. Our calculations and efforts focus on direct and indirect emissions of our organisation, using the GHG Protocolmethodology – in Scopes 1 and 2.

> Scope 2 – indirect emissions coming mainly fromthe consumption of electricity produced in external installations.
