Almacrawler to unveil Primo at HIRE23

TALKS OF ALMAC PACIFIC RELEASING YET ANOTHER INDUSTRY GAME-CHANGER HAS BEEN CONFIRMED, WITH BOB MULES ANNOUNCING THAT THE JIBBI 1890 PRIMO TELESCOPIC BOOM LIFT, WILL BE UNVEILED AT THE UPCOMING HIRE23 IN SYDNEY THIS MONTH.

The JIBBI 1890 PRiMO (PRiMO) is Almac’s first fully electric, self-levelling, tracked telescopic boom with electric drive, powered by fully removable battery power packs.

Designed to overcome the most complex worksite demands, PRiMO boasts an 18m working height which can be safely driven at 14m, on 15° lateral and longitudinal inclinations.

With a total weight of 5,900kg, it is the lightest 18m telescopic boom, capable of operating on heavy, sloping and slippery terrain. The length and width of the tracks ensures superior grip, along with 38cm ground clearance and low ground pressure. The overall width of 2.20m will comfortably allow navigation of the machine into narrow workspaces.

The Anti-Entrapment System prevents serious injury through autostop, with a reverse trajectory for 3-5 seconds when a crushing injury is imminent. Ultrasonic Anti-Collision Sensors safeguard operations by monitoring the area above and below the basket, front and back of the tracks, and the tail swing, preventing collisions and providing protection.

The options are:

• ELC – Lead Acid 420Ah 48V – 720kg –6.5h recharge time

• LTH 330 – Lithium 330Ah 48V – 300kg – 5h recharge time

• LTH 440 – Lithium 440Ah 48V – 350kg – 6.5h recharge time

Based on industry demands, a redesigned controller features an AntiEntrapment bar and comfortable joysticks, for a streamlined user-friendly experience.

The Automatic Tensioning System ensures a zero-maintenance track tensioning system is directly connected to and controlled by the main hydraulic system. Work lights may be positioned on the front and back undercarriage, and around the basket for additional safety.

The PRiMO has three battery pack options which are completely removeable and replaceable. This allows unlimited battery autonomy for continuous use.
