JLG to showcase industryfirst technology at HIRE23

ATTENDEES AT THIS YEAR’S HIRE23 EXHIBITION WILL EXPERIENCE JLG’S NEW 670SJ SELF-LEVELING BOOM LIFT, THE FIRST MACHINE OF ITS KIND IN THE AUSTRALIAN ACCESS EQUIPMENT INDUSTRY, ALONG WITH TWO OTHER EXCITING NEW MODELS.

The 670SJ further broadens JLG’s commitment to innovation, productivity and risk reduction while working at heights and drawing on world-first self-levelling technology that provides operators with exceptional control over uneven terrain of up to 10 degrees.

This level of articulation is possible thanks to a revolutionary self-levelling chassis with independent control arms and drive to all four wheels, which also helps boost stability and traction, and provides the model with impressive 45% gradeability.

Adding to the 670SJ’s appeal is its ability to be driven at a class-leading full platform height of 67 feet (approx. 20.36m) while the platform remains perfectly stable and level. Reach on the machine is also generous at over 57 feet or approximately

17.40 metres. Power for the unit comes courtesy of a proven Deutz T4F engine that produces healthy output of 67hp / 50kW.

The 670SJ will not be the only new machine on display at the JLG stand. Also on show will be the recently released DaVinci™ AE1932, which offers another industry’s first as a fully electric scissor lift.

Being fully electric, the AE1932 Electric Scissor Lift has no hydraulics therefore eliminating the risk of oil leaks, which makes the machine ideal for use in food production facilities, clean rooms, medical buildings or on carpeted floors.

It also features the latest electric drivetrain including AC drive motors for zero emission power and low draw, meaning more work on a single charge. Further extending run time is an energy recovery system that uses gravity to recapture power as the platform descends.

Capping off the new product showcase is a new Australian designed and made Solar Lighting Tower, the SSL-50, which is manufactured at JLG’s facility in Port Macquarie, on the mid north coast of New South Wales.

The SSL-50 Solar Lighting Tower offers an ideal solution wherever temporary lighting is needed, such as at work sites, on footpaths, at events or in equipment storage yards. It features convenient single person set-up and offers impressive output thanks to its powerful high output 50W LED lights.

Equipped with a 160W solar panel with tilt options for optimum charging input and a lithium iron phosphate battery, the SSL-50 delivers reliable performance with clever touches such as motion detection which reduces light brightness when movement isn’t sensed nearby, as well as a ‘Dusk-Til Dawn’ light switch.

Product aside, the stand will be staffed by a range of JLG product experts, technical specialists and sales staff, ready to assist attendees to discover more about JLG’s latest offerings and broader product line-up.
