Welcome After the last couple of years, being together is one of the many things in our lives which we will never again take for granted. And so I am delighted to invite you to join us in our return to Aberdeen this October for our 88th Annual National Conference.

Our conference is one of the biggest political events in Europe, attracting thousands of delegates and members from all corners of Scotland, as well as organisations, businesses, observers and media from across the UK and further afield.

Our mission is to chart a way through the Tory cost-of-living crisis and onwards to a fairer, more prosperous independent future for our nation. As a party, our commitment and endeavour holds true - we’ll always have Scotland’s best interests at heart.

Premier Fringe Events Would you like to host a first-class fringe event, but just don’t have the time or capacity to organise it?

Premier Fringe Meetings are arranged entirely by a dedicated team at SNP Headquarters. They are some of the highest attended meetings at the SNP Conference, and are addressed by some of our most senior speakers.

Fringe Events Fringe events are the most effective way to convey a message to our conference delegates by engaging in debate and discussion and we are excited to bring the hustle and bustle of the fringe programme back to life.

You choose the topic to be discussed, invite the speakers either from within the SNP or externally and host the event as you wish.

Fringe meetings are held on either side of the main stage agenda to maximise attendance. They will take place at the start and end of the conference day and over the lunch break.

Each Fringe event includes: ● ● ● ● ● ●

One hour scheduled event Access to your room 30 minutes before and after your event at a minimum.

Five complimentary passes for the full day of your fringe event to provide access for invited panel members and staff Complimentary listing in the conference handbook including your logo, a brief description and a list of speakers A room set up theatre style with a top table, projector and screen Assistance to secure an SNP Elected Member for your event

Many organisers also choose to boost attendance by taking up one of the many advertising opportunities available - including handbook adverts at a reduced rate when purchased with a fringe event.

Hosts are also welcome to provide catering for their event to help attract more attendees. This should be booked separately and is not included in this package.

Catering options will be sent on to you once your booking has been processed.

Fringe Events An AV package is included with all large room bookings. Many of the standard rooms do not require microphones however all rooms come with a projector and screen as standard.

Once your event has been allocated to a room, we will work with you and the venue to ensure you have everything you need. If you have any specific additional requirement a quote will be provided by the venue directly.

Fringe rooms are set up theatre style as standard but other rooms layouts may be possible on request. An additional fee will be applied for any room layout changes due to the staffing and storage implications.

Fringe events are one hour in length as standard however if you wish to organise a longer event, these can take place in the evening and an additional charge will be applied depending on the desired length of the event.

Hosting a fringe event in one of our secure zone venues is the only way to secure an SNP representative as an event speaker.

Exhibition Booking an exhibition stall is the perfect opportunity to ensure a large presence at our conference, providing your organisation with the opportunity to speak face-to-face with our parliamentarians, councillors, members and staff.

The exhibition hall remains the vibrant hub of conference - with cafè areas and a live feed of proceedings in the hall. Delegates enjoy the atmosphere and opportunity to engage with exhibitors.

Advertise The conference handbook is the must have guide to the entire event - every delegate, observer and journalist refers to it numerous times a day. It is published online prior to conference, providing your advert with significant exposure, with the potential to reach a much wider audience.

We offer advertising space in emails to all conference delegates to promote your fringe event, exhibition stand or sponsorship. You supply the design and we’ll send it out to all our members that will be attending the conference.

We are also offering the opportunity to advertise on some of the plasma screens located in prime locations through the venue. Adverts placed here can be up to 30 seconds and will run as part of a loop throughout the duration of conference.

There is also a brand new opportunity this year to place a 30 second advert at the start of a session on our Youtube and Facebook live streams, with the potential to reach thousands of people.

Business Day Business Day is a one day event focused on the key issues facing local, national and international businesses, with panel discussions on a range of business themes and Q&A sessions with key ministers and external speakers.

The day starts with a Business Breakfast and includes lunch with high-profile guests - providing you with the opportunity to meet SNP policy-makers in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere - and culminates with drinks in a private Arena box for viewing the conference address from Nicola Sturgeon, SNP Leader and First Minister of Scotland.

If you also wish to attend the rest of conference, including the Conference Dinner on Friday 7th October, you should purchase a Full Conference Expansion Pass.

Full details of the day, including detailed agenda and timings will be available closer to conference and will be sent to all registered attendees.

Conference Dinner In celebration of our first in person conference since 2019 we want to kick it off in style with the biggest SNP Conference dinner ever held.

The dinner will take place on the evening of Friday 7th October at The Event Complex Aberdeen and will be a great opportunity to meet and socialise with other conference attendees before the main conference agenda starts on Saturday morning.

Our dinner is open to all conference attendees - members, exhibitors, fringe hosts, observers - the more the merrier!

The night is sure to be one to remember with a great menu, live entertainment, annual awards and much much more.

In order to access conference dinner passes at these rates you will need to be attending conference in another capacity.

Observers Observers from a variety of fields are welcome to attend our National Conferences. Businesses, charities, academic and diplomatic visitors alike make the most of our conference experience every year.

Observers are welcome to attend the keynote speeches, debates and policy making in the main hall. You can tour our exhibition hall and engage with an array of stakeholders. You can attend events on the conference fringe and engage first-hand on the key issues of the day with a wide range of organisations.

Many of our observers also place adverts in our conference handbook so that our members know you are in attendance.

There are three types or passes: Commercial Pass: For commercial representatives as well as professional associations and trade unions Concession Pass: For charity and third sector representatives, as well as social enterprises and community groups.

International Guest Pass: For international diplomats and embassy representatives.

Passes can be purchased for one day, two days or the full conference.

Book a Meeting Room Booking a private meeting space at SNP conference provides you with a space within the conference campus for you to hold your own private meetings with your invited guests.

Catering can also be arranged directly with the venue. Once your booking has been processed we will send you the catering options for your allocated venue.

Rooms seat approximately 10 - 15 people and are generally available in the times between Fringe slots.

No conference passes are included in this package. All meeting attendees will require a conference pass in order to attend a private meeting.

Booking Would you like a tailored proposal based on your objectives and budget?

If you would like to book multiple engagement opportunities, do get in touch as a specific package deal may be available.

Please email conference@snp.org outlining which opportunities you would like to book. You will then be sent a booking form which you will need to fill out and return.

Please note that all stated rates exclude VAT and a booking fee of 3.5%.

Once your booking has been processed, you will be invoiced accordingly.

All invoices must be paid in full prior to conference. Engagements which have not been settled will be removed from the event.
