I AM sisterhood is a declaration. A declaration that is bold and strong, quiet and confident.

A declaration about value and identity, purpose and mission. It is a declaration intentional in reach and embrace. It transcends culture and creed, age and status, prejudice and preference.

It’s a declaration that positions itself amid awareness and responsibility, concern and care, injustice and solution. A declaration ultimately concerned with the welfare of the world and her inhabitants. It has courageously woven it’s way through time and history and continues to weave itself across our lives and future... Š 2009 Bobbie Houston

What you are

reading on the opposite page is a declaration that frames the heart of this gathering. It seeks to put language around a growing movement of women arising on the earth, who are responding to a simple invitation to BE THE CHANGE and make a positive difference in their local and/or global communities. If you have experienced Colour Conference, or have been online already, you will understand the true

As a Sisterhood, we believe in you and your world - and extend this booklet as a personal invitation to you and your friends. The conference experience is relaxed, dynamic and fun. It’s an opportunity to get away with girlfriends in glorious SYDNEY, stunning LONDON, historic KIEV or for the first time in spectacular CAPE TOWN (for a special Colour// One Day). We have fabulous 2011 guests and the

nature of this gathering of diverse and wonderful women. At the very core is a strong humanitarian message. Our passion and labour is to place value upon womanhood, so that we in turn can arise from a place of strength and cohesion and place value upon fellow humanity. This mandate is fleshed out locally and globally with strategic partnerships that address the international complexities of human trafficking, poverty, the plight of abandoned and orphaned children, HIV positive women and the child soldiers of Northern Uganda. Added to this are many local responses to challenges that present in most local communities around the world.

following pages (including the online experience) will give you an insight into what you will experience. We hope you will join us for the 2011 encounter. As a 21st century woman, the mosaic being woven across the earth has your name etched into its magnificent reality.

LISA BEVERE

Passionate, edgy, relatable, powerful, entertaining. These words perfectly describe our beloved friend Lisa. We are so thrilled to welcome her back to the Colour platform, because not only is she a captivating communicator, she also has a prophetic edge that affirms the heartbeat of Colour. In her own words Lisa says of this gathering... “Actually to call this a conference is a gross understatement. It is an imprint of heaven on all who willingly choose to attend. If you haven’t been before, come! If you have attended in the past, don’t for a moment imagine that God does not have more for you. Make it a priority to gather. This is not an event, it is Heaven’s heart for the Daughters of The Most High. Truly the whisper has become a shout, may your voice be added to the sound now rising”.

JEANNE MAYO

Jeanne’s favourite quote is from missionary Jim Elliott “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose”. Jeanne may be unfamiliar to many of you, but she has sown many times into Australian soil, inspiring young people to be revolutionaries of hope and change. Her full bio is online, but she has carved out a powerful and highly respected ministry speaking into the lives of youth and leaders alike. She’s on the other side of 50 (smile) but is passionately alive to all God is doing in this strategic hour. We are thrilled to finally welcome Jeanne onto our Colour platform and I know she will be a blessing in our Sydney, London and Kiev conferences.

CRAIG Groeschel

We first met and fell in love with Craig and his lovely wife Amy when he spoke at the Hillsong Conference. His fresh, innovative style and approach opened hearts and had everyone leaning in, so when Brian suggested having him speak at Colour we were pretty excited, and even more excited when Craig accepted almost instantly. They pastor LifeChurch.tv, have a young family of six children (all the kids are coming to the Sydney conference) and reside in Edmond, Oklahoma. You will love the way Craig opens the Word and applies it to our everyday lives.
