INFORMATION OVERVIEW

The 2022 Gold Coast Regional Round of the World Scholar's Cup is scheduled for Thursday 16 June and Friday 17 June.

This is the 4th annual Gold Coast Round, and the only Oceania round that has taken place every year for during the past two years. We have the highest number of schools entered thus far to a Gold Coast Round with 10 schools confirmed and over 120 teams to be registered.

LOCATION Hillcrest Christian College 21 Bridgman Dr, Reedy Creek QLD 4227 www.hillcrest.qld.edu.au Sign-In Requirements Teachers and adult support staff are required to log in when arriving on campus. Alternatively, we strongly urge visitors to download the SINE app which can log you in and out of the Campus automatically.

• Sine.co (follow the links to download their app) • Login and select Hillcrest Christian College (QR code) • This will ensure you are automatically logged in and out of the Campus.

• All that will be required on the day is to show your Sine Pass (no sign in required) Wi-Fi Access Select network: "ScholarsCupGuestWifi' Password "Alpaca22" NO SPACES

Students should bring • Snacks and lunch • Water bottle • Stationary for writing • Warm clothes for evening • Laptop/Device for Debates

ARRIVALS

Day 1 Arrival between 8:00am-8:40am.

There is a bus stop (Zone A - I24) on Bridgman Drive that will be the easiest for traffic flow. Students can disembark quickly and head into the College for registration. If arriving after 8:25am the drop off Zone B (H23) can be accessed. School groups will be escorted to the check-in desk.

Senior student helpers will direct schools to the locations around the campus before sessions and during debates.

Day 2 Arrival between 8:15-8:45am and then follow directions from Day 1.

DEPARTURES

Departure is from the same areas and buses can park in Zone B (H23). On Day 2 departure is from 2:45pm – please respond with bus details such as size and quantity of coaches so we can manage bus departures.
