RESIN SET PRODUCTS

The Hillbrush resin set range is the world's most effective, versatile and reliable method of filament retention in brushes. Food grade stainless steel staples secure the filaments in a recessed brush back, which is then flooded with an antimicrobial, food grade epoxy resin.

The brush then undergoes an extensive process to ensure the resin fills every void, eliminating areas where dirt and moisture could otherwise accumulate.

ANTIMICROBIAL PRODUCTS METAL AND X-RAY DETECTABLE PRODUCTS

Hillbrush's metal detectable and x-ray visible (MDX) plastic cleaning tools are designed to minimise the risk of foreign object contamination in food processing environments. All components in our MDX products are FDA and EU approved for food contact.

The moulded products with coloured plastic backs and grey fibres make up the colour coded MDX range, where only the fibres are metal detectable and x-ray visible. The Total MDX brushes are resin set as standard and the backs, resin and fibre contain the detectable additive.

Our antimicrobial brushes, which are all resin set, and other antimicrobial products are designed to prevent the spread of harmful bacteria, fungi and moulds. All plastics in the products, including the filaments and resin, contain a silver ion based antimicrobial Biomaster™ additive. All components are FDA/EU food contact approved.

Biomaster guarantees fast, effective antimicrobial protection for the effective lifetime of the product, helps to keep surfaces clean and hygienic and reduces the risk of cross-contamination. To ensure that the antimicrobial range can fully support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), tools have been manufactured in blue, black, green, purple, red and yellow.
