Hike to HACK Hike to Hack is an invitation to discover the wonders of humanity and nature of our country. From different cities to exotic destinations, we equip you with the durable and versatile gear to take you beyond your fears and outside your comfort zone. We believe the experience of the unknown inspires a deeper understanding of each other, a curiosity for the unfamiliar, and fresh perspectives on life. We know the further we travel, the closer we become to each other and to the country we share.

“For what is worth this world is so beautiful that I can hardly believe it exists.” The beauty of nature can have a profound effect upon our senses, those gateways from the outer world to the inner, whether it results in disbelief in its very existence, or feelings such as awe, wonder, or amazement. However, what is it about nature and the entities that make it up that cause us, oftentimes unwillingly, to feel or declare that they are beautiful? “The simple perception of natural forms is a delight.” When we think of beauty in nature, we might most immediately think of things that dazzle the senses – the prominence of a mountain, the expanse of the trees, the unfolding of the life of a flower. Often it is merely the perception of these things itself which gives us pleasure, and this emotional or affective response on our part seems to be crucial to our experience of beauty. So in a way there is a correlate here to the intrinsic value of nature.

The sky, the mountain, the tree, the flower, the animal, give us a delight in and for themselves Most often, it seems to me, we find these things to be beautiful not because of something else they might bring us – a piece of furniture, say, or a ‘delicacy’ to be consumed – but because of the way that the forms of these things immediately strike us upon observation. In fact, one might even think that this experience of beauty is one of the bases for valuing nature – nature is valuable because it is beautiful.

The beauty in the natural world is not limited to certain parts of nature to the exclusion of others. Every landscape lies under “the necessity of being beautiful”, and that “beauty breaks in everywhere.” As we slowly creep out of a long winter in our city Sidi Bel Abbes. The inhabitants of the cities suppose that the country landscape is pleasant only half the year….To the attentive eye, each moment of the year has its own beauty, and in the same field it beholds, every hour, a picture which was never seen before, and which shall never be seen again. The close observer of nature sees a river in constant flux, even when the river’s water is frozen and everything appears to be static and unchanging for a time. Nature can reveal its beauty in all places and at all times to the eye that knows how to look for it.

All of these qualities of beauty seem to go beyond the mere impression of sensible forms that we started with, and what they require is what also served as the basis of truth and goodness in nature. In addition to the immediate experience of beauty based in perception, we can also experience the world as beautiful because of its rational structure and our ability to grasp that structure through thought. Think for instance of the geometric structure of a crystal, or snowflake, or nautilus shell; as observers of nature we are confronted with one giant, complex process that isn’t of our own making, but that we can also understand, and get a mental grasp on, even if only partially, and be awe-struck in that process of understanding. There is thus an emotional or affective component in the beauty of the intellect just as there is in the immediate beauty of perception. If we destroy the natural world, we take away the things that we can marvel at and experience awe towards in these two ways. And this experience of the beautiful through the intellect may reinforce our attributing value to nature here as well, but a deeper kind of value. Here it is not only that nature is valuable because it is beautiful, but nature is beautiful because it possesses intrinsic value, grounded in its intelligible structure. Thus we see a

close parallel between goodness and beauty in nature. We can find an objective basis for goodness and beauty in nature, namely its intelligible structure, but also see that nature is valuable and beautiful for us, with the particular apparatus that nature has given us for navigating our way through the world. So that which is the basis of truth in nature and provides it with intrinsic value is also that which makes it beautiful. we should know that the landscape has beauty for our eyes, because it expresses a thought which is to us good: and this, because of the same power which sees through our eyes, is seen in that spectacle This is the unified philosophy of nature that is set out – nature is the source of truth, goodness, and beauty, because of its intelligible structure, and because of its production of organisms that can recognize that structure, us. And this view of nature includes an inherent call to protect that which is true, good, and beautiful. These are the things that we as human beings are searching for, are striving after, and yet they are right in front of us if only we would listen with our ear to the earth. Although I have been advocating an approach to nature based on its intelligibility, we are far from tying down the giant that is nature with our minds. Although we shall continue to try to uncover nature’s secrets, let us also continue to take pleasure in our immediate encounter with her. Let us continue to be awe-struck, like the child on the seashore, or clambering up a tree. Let us hold onto that experience, and fight for the environment that makes it possible, both for the child in each of us, and for those that come after us.

LEAVING OUR MARKS, NOT ONLY BY OUR FOOTSTEPS BUT ALSO BY OUR SOULS AND THE CHILD WITHIN OURSELVES! Therefore, Hike to HACK is an invitation to discover the wonders of humanity and nature of our country. From different cities to exotic destinations, we equip you with the durable and versatile gear to take you beyond your fears and outside your comfort zone. We believe the experience of the unknown inspires a deeper understanding of each other, a curiosity for the unfamiliar and fresh perspectives on life. We know the further we travel the closer we become to each other and to the country we share. Our first experience was visiting the mountain of Tessala, the capital of the tribe EL Hajaz El Amiria, tales do tell that is was named after the queen Tassa of Rome, whom they lived there long before. Mostly known by a place called El Attouch, a very beautiful touristic place that is far from Sidi Bel Abbes approximately 20km, rise above the surface of the sea by 1061m, one of the most marvelous places in the city. The perfect place for those who seek adventure, comfort, peace and the beauty of nature. Lands full of green grass and tall trees that can reach the sky, when the wind is singing you can see both of them swaying right and left as if they are dancing, the sun is so shiny that it make the color green look almost magical to the eye. Rocks and stones everywhere marking the road of our journey, stones that help us climb the mountain, shadows to eat and sleep under, hills to meditate and find peace, joyful countrymen passing by with their sheep to smile at and drink their water, ride their horse and save those moments with beautiful pictures.

Climbing the mountain making new friendships and bounding the family of Hike to HACK stronger with our guests group Soulage Toi and Group Alpha Adventure whom we invited, people who promote peace in their travels and help those in need with the incomes of their trips and call for a clean nature as our nature defender Mahdi was doing, reminding everyone that our trash is for us to take back when we leave nature behind keeping it as beautiful as we found it. A growing child, advising the youth and making a great example of what is like to love and protect our nature.

Salah Eddin, who we all admired his beautiful smile that stands against all pain, without further ado I would love to quote his beautiful speech he gave when we were resting upon that hill gazing the city from the mountain sitting next to that cherry blossom tree “ Hello everybody, I want to share my experience with you. Last year was a tough year for me, I had cancer of cavum. When doing my therapy all I thought about is to go out and travel, to go out and hike. To take these trips and go outside to see the world and the beauty of nature. Seize your moment, and your chance. God gave me a second chance, I'm here with you today, to share these moments with you. And sharing them is a blessing. It's a second chance for the youth that had an experience with sickness. I didn't believe that I could do that. But at one moment it was said to me; wake up man, fight, to see this. It's so beautiful. Fight yourself for the things you want, you love and you deserve, you have just to believe in yourself, challenge yourself. Get out of your comfort zone to discover who you really are. Have faith, have faith, have faith. his words will be craved in all of us.

We don’t climb mountains so that the world can see us, but we climb mountains so that we can see the world and appreciate nature, Tessala taught us this and inspired us to take this journey and fight for the safety of nature by exploring it and writing about, so that the world will know about it.

Mountains are similar to young women, they are both beautiful, fascinating, attractive and charming, but at the same time dangerous, erratic, complicated and hard to understand.

Tessala, a place that has its own tales and legends:

Gaston Vuillier, A painter, artist, a 19th century French traveler he said that the legend which will follow was told to me by an old Arab one day when I had climbed with him the plain, the grassland which appeared in front of our eyes is located a few kilometers from Sidi Bel Abbes, it is bounded to the north by the Mediterranean Sea and to the south, by the mountain of Tessalla. In the middle of this field there is a huge lake go down from east to west. The peak of Tessala is conical in shape and has huge stones like a tent erected on the mountain. The old Arab stated that natural design is something extraordinary. And he added there are centuries, a Chikh, a very educated man called Sid-Ahmed ben Yakoub. He was the owner of that vast field, situated between the sea and Djebel Tassala. As the years passed the old man lose his strength so he called his two sons, were young and courageous and told them: My sons with all my love and care of you I'm telling you, that I'm leaving soon to my last destination and as God prescribed to the believers to leave their own goods to their loved ones in a generous way so I want to give you my pain. " O, you whose race is holy and the birth of illustrious" the young men replied while they prostrating.

So, the Cheik Sid-Ahmed Ben Yakoub want to do a fair share of his fortune, he told his younger son to sell his horse and go to the odds next to Djebel Tessala while the elder descended at the bottom of the mountain. A Day after, at the first ray of the rising sun, the Chikh added that both of you will walk with small steps from the mountain toward the center of the plain and the point where they meet will be the limits of their own property. That is what happened the day after, the young men start walking and the younger rode a black horse like a moonless night with a white star that shines like the early hours of the morning. The Elder left the mountain on a burned alezan ( a dark horse ). And The very venerated Sid-Ahmed Ben-Yakoub watched them from his tent set up at the top of Djebel Tessalla. However, the elder guided by the evil spirit, walked the steps of his elezan and devoured the plain. This led to him soon gaining a strong lead over his brother, who was slowly continuing on his way. The vein of anger swelled on the old man's forehead at the sight of this artifice, But God very rightly wanted the culprit to be punished. The tired alezan moderated his course and the young man looking back overview of the space traveled and changed into a vast water space. Thus, by the will of God righteous and very powerful, he who had wanted to deceive his brother saw his path changed into a salt lake; while the other was the owner of a fertile plain Soon after, Sheikh Sid Ahmed ben Yakoub, god bless him, died. And his tent at the top of Tessala Mountain was turned into stone to set this salutary example. The Arab stopped talking, and I stood there for a long time with my eyes fixed on this large stone cone, which looks like it with a huge tent had often struck me.

If the mountain seems too big today Then climb a hill instead If the morning brings you sadness It's OK to stay in bed If the day ahead weighs heavy And your plans feels like a curse There is no shame in rearranging Don't make yourself feel worse If a shower stings like needles And a bath feels like you will drown If you haven't washed your hair for days Don't throw away your crown A day is not a life time A rest is not defeat Don't think of it as failure Just a quiet, kind retreat It's OK to take a moment From an anxious, fractured mind The world will not stop turning While you get realigned The mountain will still be there When you want to try again You can climb it in your own time Just love yourself till then

The History of Tessala Tessala mountains in Sidi Bel Abbes attract tourists, Archaeological sites tell the history of the region and the enjoyment of its visitors. Tessalla mountains in Sidi Bel Abbes attract tourists, Archaeological sites tell the history of the region and the enjoyment of its visitors. The mountain chain "Tessala", which extends from the Oran Heights in the north to Sidi Bel Abbas in the south, is of the utmost importance to ensure the balance of the ecosystem according to university researcher Mr. Hani Abdel Qader. BilbaĹ&#x;oharan and Ain Temouchent. The municipality of Tessalla covers an area of 11,824 hectares, and it is 7,222 people, with a population density of approximately 61 people per km. According to the researcher at the University of Sidi Bel Abbes, in the past, it was a land of abundant wheat and its inhabitants found a safe place when they felt the danger of an external invasion, from the Roman era to the end of the French occupation. Archaeologists have long believed that they would find the ancient city "Estasilis" until they ended up abandoning the idea that the Roman occupation of this region where barbarian tribes were present and Roman armies were deployed in fortified camps in both Ain Zertitah and Ain Bint Sultan. With the Islamic conquest, the history of Tessala witnessed events and exploits that talked about many of the men and scholars who described the region, starting with the righteous Sufi mystic, Sidi Yader, the world of geography,

the Andalusian Idrisi plants, the tribes of Bani Amer and the African Lion "Lyon for Africa" until the founder of sociology without contesting the scholar Abd al-Rahman Ibn Khaldun, then Stages of resistance against the Spanish presence. As for the French colonization, according to the researcher, the social structure of this region was destabilized when the French colonists invaded it and seized the peasant lands, which led to the deterioration of the rural center, recalling that the plant and animal riches were severely affected by the intensive cultivation and the centenarians lived in luxury at the expense of the local population. The situation at the present time requires strengthening the program to protect the ecosystem (animals and plants, soil stability and the ecological balance of the region) within the perspective of sustainable development according to the state’s forest governor, who indicated that the goal is to protect and protect these mountains from forest fires and multiply afforestation, recalling the stored natural resources In the Tesla region of dense oak trees, milky pine, eucalyptus and others. For his part, the Director of Tourism, Mr. Tawalbeya Abdul Qadir, stated that this site has been chosen to host a region for tourism expansion, and the file for that is being prepared. The Tsala region is known by a large number of visitors, especially at the end of the week, to enjoy the beauty and moisture of the region during the summer, knowing that it includes several monuments, similar to an archaeological fortress that attests to the Roman presence in the region, in addition to a center for children with asthma, a holiday center and spaces for leisure and entertainment, As for the Director of Culture, Mrs. Hankour Hakima, she indicated, in turn, that a group of archaeological excavations was proposed to explore the hidden secrets in this area.

Some advice : _ the day before or in the morning of the hike, consume enough starchy foods (bread, rice, potatoes, cereals) to have a good glycogen reserve that will keep you in shape during the hike. _ avoid sugary chocolates and candies, soda drinks and artificial juices, they cause reactive hypoglycaemia afterward and dehydration. _ Bananas and dates are better snacks, rich in potassium that the muscles use in large quantities during an effort, and they provide a good amount of carbohydrates and fructose which will preserve your energy, while keeping your blood sugar stable. _ take breaks to eat a little, like nuts, dried fruits, energy bars, your cereal cookies ... in small quantities, you don't want to eat too much that you will regret. _ stay in constant hydration, drink sips of water, do not wait until you feel thirsty, do not drink a large amount at a time. _ During the lunch break, the meal should especially not be generous, a small dish (or a sandwich) balanced (for example: bread + cheese + ham + some piece of cucumber), with some dried fruit or a fresh fruit. _ Taking tea is also recommended, it contains antioxidants that will help the body get rid of free radicals produced during slow exercise, it avoids fatigue and hydrates at the same time.
