11 MODELS PROVIDE OPERATOR COMFORT AND PREMIUM FEATURES

Cat ® Next Generation Mini Excavators emphasize operator comfort, convenience, and safety. The seven models are fitted with cabs, sealed and pressurized to ensure a clean environment, and feature a redesigned heating/ventilating/air conditioning system that ensures all-weather climate control. Suspension seats, with a retractable three-inch-wide belt, are standard, and the operating consoles feature adjustable wrist rests. In-cab sound levels are a quiet 72 dB(A).

All Cat Next Generation Mini Excavators feature heavy-duty main structures, fuel-efficient engines, load-sensing hydraulics, spacious cabs, and the exclusive Cat Stick Steer system. Next Generation models ensure optimum value for the customer in terms of performance, operator experience, serviceability and affordability.

The new-model lineup includes: › 306 CR › 307.5 › 308 CR › 308 CR VAB › 309 CR › 309 CR VAB › 310 Intuitive controls include the Next Generation LCD monitor that provides easy-to-read machine information and features a jog-dial for easy navigation, including setting personal operating preferences. For added convenience, a standard control-pattern changer enables operators to quickly adapt the machine to favored joystick movement. A machine security system is standard—numeric code—as is a radio with Bluetooth capability. The large front window slides upward and stores conveniently overhead, and expansive glass areas on the sides and rear of the cab, plus a skylight, provide all-around visibility. A rear camera is integrated into the monitor.

Four models in one- to two-ton class The new models incorporate industry-first standard features, such as tilt-up canopy or cab, as well as new options, including air conditioning and expandable undercarriages across the range.

NEW CAT ® 306 CR MINI EXCAVATOR DELIVERS INDUSTRY-LEADING PERFORMANCE

Marking Caterpillar’s entry into the six-ton class, the new 306 CR Mini Hydraulic Excavator is built to exceed customer expectations with strong performance, enhanced operator experience and simplified maintenance with extended service intervals.

The new mini excavator features the exclusive Cat Stick Steer system, heavy-duty main structures, a fuelefficient engine, load-sensing hydraulics and a spacious cab. It shares a similar controls layout and common components with the full line of Cat Next Generation mini excavators.

With its long stick option, the 306 CR delivers a maximum dig depth of 162 inches and 15,821-lb. maximum operating weight when equipped with the sealed and pressurized cab. Compact radius design provides a low, 58-inch tail swing with counterweight for working close to obstructions.

Operating efficiency The design of the new 306 CR emphasizes operator comfort, convenience and safety. Its sealed and pressurized cabin lowers in-cab operating noise levels to 72 dB(A) and is heated and air-conditioned to elevate operator comfort regardless of outside temperatures.

Offering the ability to set personal operating preferences, the Next Generation LCD monitor provides easy-to-read machine information, jog-dial for simple navigation and standard Bluetooth ® capability. The color monitor gives the operator critical operating details such as fuel, coolant temperature, hour meter, performance and machine adjustments, and maintenance and machine monitoring.

With the touch of a button, the operator can switch from conventional lever/ foot-pedal steering controls to the standard Cat exclusive Stick Steer system. Stick Steer provides improved operator control with less effort to advance operating simplicity and comfort. For convenience, the intuitive pattern changer enables operators to select their preferred joystick movement. Straight blade, angled blade and extra tool carrier (XTC) configurations further expand flexibility. Featuring ample travel, above and below grade operation, float function, and “dig-toblade” operation, the machine’s blade efficiently handles loose material in backfilling and grading applications. Delivering the extra precision required when digging around utilities, front shovel operation can be accomplished with both pin-on and coupler-mounted buckets.

Enhanced service, lower costs Ground-level access to maintenance checkpoints offers convenience, while enhancing worker safety. Industryleading grease intervals help to shorten the daily service routine, so this mini excavator gets to work faster. Extended filter service life means the 306 CR mini excavator spends less time in the shop for routine maintenance.
