Christmas at HSOG!

It truly was the most wonderful time of the year as the High School injected a little more colour in the run-up to Christmas!

Having spent the last two festive periods in various states of lockdown, this year has been more exciting than ever, with all of our traditional seasonal events able to return.

From incredible Junior and Senior Christmas Concerts, our festive Christmas lunch feast and the sight of colourful and imaginative Christmas Jumpers, to fun-filled Christmas parties for each of our Junior School year groups and Christmas dances for various Senior School year groups, it has been an unforgettable last few weeks at HSOG! As is tradition, the year came to an end with the Christmas Carol Service in the Senior School Assembly Hall, as we welcomed back the School community for a heartwarming Autumn Term finale. What a way to head into the holidays!

The Junior 1 Nativity performance took place on Tuesday 6th December, with parents and guests in attendance to witness the traditional story of the birth of Jesus.

This was the first ever production for most of the children, who did a fantastic job of recounting the tale of a baby born in a manger in Bethlehem. It was also the first time we had been able to welcome guests to watch our Nativity in-person since 2019! Our Junior 1 children did themselves proud, belting out festive songs and generally spreading festive cheer amongst the gathered School community! Well done to everyone involved - from Junior School staff and J1 teachers, to our star performers and all the parents and guests who made the effort to attend - it truly was an unforgettable day at Ledcameroch Road! We ho-ho-hope you all had a great time!
