AT HPU, COMMITMENTS ARE REWARDED. Dear High School Senior, You’ve probably wondered why some people find success while so many others never seem to discover it. There are many reasons for this, but I’ve come to discover it often has to do with how we make decisions as opposed to making commitments. You see, decisions are made with the brain. Commitments are made with the heart. That is why commitments are much deeper and longer lasting than decisions. This is precisely why HPU honors our Early Decision students in unique and meaningful ways. At HPU, students and families that commit to the Early Decision application earn many exclusive benefits. It’s our way of showing you how much we appreciate you and your family. When you commit to HPU, HPU commits to YOU! When students step on our campus for the first time, they feel at home. They immediately fall in love with the inspiring environment, caring people and extraordinary academic resources. They feel it in their hearts. These students imagine their next four years at High Point University. They commit to High Point
University early on in their college search journey. Their commitment to HPU exemplifies their dedication to and love for High Point University. It's why more than 50% of HPU’s entering class applies Early Decision. You’ll see all the benefits listed in the pages that follow. But I hope you’ll also take the time to see what other HPU students and parents have to say about HPU’s Early Decision application benefits. That is the best way to truly understand what this means for you. At High Point University, our call to action is: Choose to Be Extraordinary! It is a choice. And we are committed to partnering with you. Sincerely,
Nido R. Qubein President High Point University nqubein@highpoint.edu
