As another academic year comes to a close, we reflect on the accomplishments, growth, and milestones that defined our department this year This year was defined by progress, initiative, and moments that showcased the talent and commitment of our students From classrooms and internships to campus organizations and community events, our students represented the department with pride and distinction
This special edition of our newsletter is dedicated to celebrating the graduating seniors who have helped shape the spirit and success of our program. Their hard work, perseverance, and commitment have left a lasting impression on our department and inspired those who will follow in their footsteps We are honored to recognize the many ways they have contributed throughout their time here.

Looking Back on a Remarkable Year
The 2025–2026 academic year was one of growth, resilience, and achievement for our department Our seniors began their final year with ambition, clear goals, and a determination to maximize every opportunity ahead Along the way, they overcame challenges, adapted to change, and persevered until they achieved their goals Their perseverance is deserving of great pride and recognition Their futures shine brightly with promise and purpose.
As the year came to a close, so did a meaningful chapter of their collegiate journey. In the midst of celebrations, reflections, and new beginnings, they were reminded of why they started in the first place To learn, to grow, to lead, and to create a future they believed in. Their success this year is a testament to the passion and purpose that carried them to the finish line As a department, we thank our graduates for the memories, growth, and purpose along the way.

We would like to recognize our graduating seniors who served on the Sport Management Association Executive Council at High Point University Their leadership strengthened the entire organization and opened valuable opportunities for fellow students
We proudly celebrate Quinn Cerny (Treasurer), Tyler Cordery (Secretary), Megan Laidler (Director of Digital Engagement), Amy Downing (Product Designer), and Mike Spaugh and Carly Proctor (SGA Representatives) Their service and outstanding leadership have made a lasting difference within the Sport Management Association and department.
Women Leaders in Sport
We would like to acknowledge our Women Leaders in Sport seniors As members of the inaugural Executive Council, they helped establish the organization’s foundation and set a high standard for future student leaders through their dedication and initiative. Their leadership played an important role in shaping the bright future of the club
We commend Gabriella Radburn (Vice President of Communications) and Caden Baker (Vice President of Event Coordination and Engagement) Their time and dedication helped strengthen the club, build community, inspire fellow members, encourage involvement, and create a lasting impact for future women in sport
Rho Phi Lambda
We are grateful to honor and mention our seniors graduating from Rho Phi Lambda. Over the past three years, this emerging organization has developed into a meaningful presence within the Sport Management program through a vision of creating an honor society for students who are dedicated to the sport industry Built on the values of scholarship, leadership, service, and professional growth, Rho Phi Lambda has provided opportunities for members to connect, excel, and represent the program with pride The progress and momentum of the organization are a direct reflection of the time, energy, and passion these graduates invested throughout their collegiate careers at High Point University

As this chapter comes to a close, we celebrate all that our graduates have accomplished and the journeys that brought them to this moment Their hard work, resilience, and dedication have prepared them for the opportunities that lie ahead, and we are confident they will continue to make a difference wherever life takes them next We wish each of them nothing but success and happiness on their next adventure May they continue to chase their goals with confidence, embrace new challenges, and carry forward the lessons they have learned along the way.
While they may be moving on to new places and new ambitions, High Point University will always be a place they can look back on fondly and proudly call a second home The memories, friendships, and experiences built here will remain part of their story for years to come No matter where their paths may lead, they will always have a community cheering them on and welcoming them back. The pride they carry will stay with them wherever they go They will always remain valued members of the HPU family and the Sport Management community Once a Panther, always a Panther.
