For the 2022/23 academic year the Highfields Ambassadors are:

Cycle Derby
Today, Friday, we welcomed Cycle Derby into school. They led students from years 7-12 on track events, sprints and Italian pursuits.
This was a fantastic opportunity for our students who already cycle for Matlock as well as students who wanted to try another sport – Photographs from the event and write up will be in next week's newsletter.
National Score Orienteering event
Tomorrow, Saturday 8 October, some of our students are involved in the National Score Orienteering event at Shipley Park – we will report on how they get on in next week’s newsletter.
Mini marathon week 2022
The mini marathon is a challenge for everyone and all abilities. The challenge is for children to run, jog or walk 2.6 miles in their school between Monday 26 September and Friday 21 October to coincide with the TCS London Marathon that took place on Sunday 2 October.
Schools can decide how to meet the challenge and next week we are using our PE lessons to allow students to take part in the national event by walking or running 2.6 miles.
