We are looking to appoint an experienced exams officer who will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of our external and internal examinations process.

The successful candidate will have:  A high level of accuracy  The ability to manage expenditure  Excellent organisational and communication skills  The capability to meet tight deadlines

This post works on an annualised hours contract – in an annualised hours system an employee works a certain number of hours over the whole year with flexibility about when those hours are worked. There would be a need for the post holder to work flexibly over the internal and external exam periods to cover the needs of the role. This is turn would create the opportunity to work fewer hours per week in less busy periods. The post holder would be paid in equal instalments throughout the year.

Highfields is situated in Matlock, the county town of Derbyshire, on the south eastern edge of the Peak District. It is within easy reach of Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham. Learning Mentor

Location Highfields School Salary Scale 3: £19,698 - £20,493 pro rata (Actual Salary: £11,800 - £12,276) Hours per Week 26 or 32.5 hours (Term-Time Only) Contract Fixed Term until 31 August 2022 Closing Date 16/01/2022

The post is open to candidates who would like to work either 26 hours per week (4 days) or 32.5 hours per week (5 days).

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative and understanding learning mentor to support students within our existing dedicated team.

You will be expected to help students stay on task, whilst being able to overcome social and emotional barriers to learning. To raise their aspirations, self-esteem and maximise learning potential.
