The opportunity has arisen to lead our dedicated and enthusiastic ICT department in maintaining and developing the extensive ICT network at the school.

We are looking for someone who can build positive relationships with a range of young people and staff and uphold the high standards of work and conduct within our school.

This post is a crucial one to the school. You will work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership team to ensure that the approach to IT and information management reflects, and continuously adapts to support the vision and values of the school.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, internal organisation, management and control of the school’s IT infrastructure, including operating systems, servers, devices, software and communication systems.

Highfields is a vibrant and popular school with approximately 1200 students, including 200 in our sixth form. Our students are friendly and highly motivated. We were judged as a good school by Ofsted in May 2017 and are committed to continuous improvement in all aspects of our work. We are at an exciting stage of our development and this is a great opportunity to make a strong contribution to the life of the school.

Highfields is situated in Matlock, the county town of Derbyshire, on the south eastern edge of the beautiful Peak District National Park. It is within easy reach of Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham.

We are looking to recruit adaptable, well organised, reliable and trustworthy exam invigilators to join our existing team. This role is essential to the smooth running of the examination process and ensuring correct procedures are followed. Exam sessions are held in the mornings and/or afternoons. Highfields is a vibrant and popular school with approximately 1200 friendly and highly motivated students, including 200 in our sixth form.
