Vacancy for Design & Technology Technician

We are looking to appoint a part time technician to support the D&T department. The ideal candidate will have experience of safe usage, operation, serviceability, maintenance and correct application of a wide range of machinery together with being highly organised, an effective communicator and have the ability to build excellent working relationships with staff and students. Highfields is a vibrant and popular school, we look to appoint staff who are willing to contribute fully to the life of the school and who are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
