En la década del veinte, un hábil herrero italiano, Pascuale Sabatini, llegó a Uruguay con un vasto conocimiento de su oficio. Con tenacidad y destreza, en tan solo dos años, logró establecerse y montar un taller de herrería que rápidamente se ganó el reconocimiento en la zona.
Con el paso de los años, el taller de Pascuale no solo se consolidó como un punto de referencia en herrería, sino que también se convirtió en un centro de aprendizaje para muchos jóvenes locales. Fue aquí donde su hijo Arnaldo absorbió los conocimientos del oficio y continuó expandiendo el negocio.
Arnaldo, con una visión emprendedora, amplió el comercio hacia la compra y venta de materiales, sentando así las bases para la transformación del taller de herrería en una próspera barraca de hierros. Este legado de emprendimiento y compromiso con el servicio fue heredado por su hijo Gabriel.
En los años noventa, Gabriel llevó a cabo la metamorfosis definitiva, convirtiendo la barraca de hierros en un referente del rubro. Hierros Sabatini no solo se destacaba por la venta de hierros, sino que también ofrecía una amplia gama de insumos y herrajes, satisfaciendo las necesidades de la comunidad de herreros y constructores.
Our History
In the twenties, a skilled Italian blacksmith, Pascuale Sabatini, arrived in Uruguay with extensive knowledge of his trade. With tenacity and skill, in just two years, he managed to establish himself and set up a blacksmith workshop that quickly gained recognition in the area.
Over the years, Pascuale’s workshop not only established itself as a benchmark in blacksmithing but also became a learning center for many local youth. It was here that his son Arnaldo absorbed the trade’s knowledge and continued to expand the business.
Arnaldo, with an entrepreneurial vision, expanded the business to include the buying and selling of materials, thus laying the groundwork for transforming the blacksmith workshop into a thriving iron yard. This legacy of entrepreneurship and commitment to service was inherited by his son Gabriel.
In the nineties, Gabriel carried out the definitive transformation, turning the iron yard into a reference in the industry. Hierros Sabatini not only stood out for the sale of iron but also offered a wide range of supplies and fittings, meeting the needs of the blacksmith and builder community.
