Sep 28, 2017 to Oct 8, 2017 The Tulsa State Fair is the City’s largest family event, providing educational experiences and entertainment during an 11-day span. Annually held on the fourth Thursday after Labor Day, this historical event is based upon heritage, family values and quality entertainment for all ages. It was first organized in 1903 as the “Tulsa County Free Fair” and developed into the Tulsa State Fair of today. With the goal of providing an educational and entertaining experience to the community, it has over 100 years of history and continues to stand out as one of the premier fairs in the country, with an estimated attendance of 1,206,000 million in 2016. Pleasant Valley Farms 7th Annual Winter Squash and Pumpkin Fest
Oct 14, 2017 to Oct 15, 2017 9:00 AM until 08:00 PM Everyone is invited to the 7th annual Pleasant Valley Farms Winter Squash and Pumpkin Festival! This year hand craft (25-30) vendors, a very few select direct sales and food vendors as well as onsite demonstations will be here this year for the Winter Squash and Pumpkin Festival. New this year is the rattle snake run slides, as always live bluegrass music, so be sure to bring your lawn chairs, we have a few covered shelters and tables and hay bales as well for seating. 18 hole mini golf, barnyard animals, punkin chuckin cannon, tractor drawn hay rides, also try your directional skills in the corn maze, shop around in the giftshop, or just relax and listen to some bluegrass music muscians. Duck races, cowbell toss, pumpkin chalkin, over 25 photo opts, pumpkin bowling, corn box, and so much more. Concessions are sure to satisfy your hunger. This year will be better than ever. HallowZOOeen
Oct 28, 2017 to Oct 29, 2017 05:00 PM until 09:00 PM Tulsa Zoo welcomes little ghouls and gila monsters to HallowZOOeen on Oct. 27-31. This Tulsa tradition provides a spooky, but nottoo-scary, family friendly trick-ortreating option. HallowZOOeen 2017 will showcase treasured treats with Burger King Royal Castle and QuikTrip Pirate Island. Kids of all ages will enjoy the Pumpkin Patch Playroom with a hay maze, pumpkin decorating and carnival games. The Tulsa Zoo is helping green your Halloween by only purchasing eek-o-friendly sweets made with sustainable palm oil. Buy tickets in advance to skip the lines.Tickets can be purchased online at tulsazoo.org/boo or at the Tulsa Zoo during regular business hours, daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost for admission is $8 for ages 1 and older; $7 for Tulsa Zoo Friends members.The Haunted Train is back with spooky (but not-too-scary) surprises around every turn for only $5.
