October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Ladies, regular self-exams are a must.

And, once you reach a certain age, annual mammograms are a necessity. Not everyone has the resources to pay either through selfpay or insurance. That’s why we are fortunate to have an organization like Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks right. You may qualify for their free mammogram program.

If you need information or support, they are a great resource, too. Find them online at BCFO.org. Breast exams and cancer are rarely a comfortable topic.
