When I think of July, I remember picking blackberries with my parents, chasing fireflies in the backyard, cranking an old-fashioned wooden ice cream maker (the ice cream was OH, SO GOOD!), enjoying fireworks displays, and, just a few short years ago, marching in the 4th of July parade with my son’s Cub Scout pack.
